The softer side of Steve-O
MTV and big-screen prankster Steve-O, last seen pushing a heavy-duty fish hook into his lower lip and getting dragged like bait behind a boat in Jackass Number Two, showed a different face of stardom in Lake Worth last weekend.
The usually manic clown, who went to drug rehab this summer after reportedly assaulting a doorman at a Paris Hilton fashion show, showed unannounced at Sunday’s Buddy Walk of the Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization at Lake Worth’s John Prince Park.
Steve-O, a.k.a. Stephen Glover, signed autographs, posed for hundreds of pictures with the participants — all for his nephew. Dylan Glover is the year-old son of Steve-O’s sister, Cindy Glover, a history teacher at American Heritage High School in Delray. Dylan was born with Down Syndrome.
