The good thing about electoral campaigns is that, every so often, they bring top celebs to town.

Jason Bourne, I mean Oscar winner Matt Damon, will be at presidential hopeful Barack Obama’s West Palm Beach headquarters at 2:15 p.m. Sunday.

Campaign officials tell Page2Live he’ll make six stops throughout South Florida Sunday and Monday to encourage early voting – for Obama, of course – and hang with campaign volunteers.

About the same time 4 miles, south Cindy McCain, wife of Republican candidate John McCain, and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani will be going door-to-door for McCain votes.

Damon, the star of The Bourne Identity and Good Will Hunting, is scheduled to start his day in Miramar, near Fort Lauderdale, then travel north to West Palm before returning to Broward County.

On Monday, he’ll be at the University of Miami, then stop by the Obama office in Hollywood before leading a march near his home in Miami Beach.

Wanna get a good glimpse at the boyish actor? Here are the details:

Sunday
11:45 a.m.: Early vote rally at Forzano Park, 2001 Douglas Road, Miramar
2:15 p.m.: Visit to Obama volunteers at 3300 South Dixie Highway, Suite 3, West Palm Beach
3:45 p.m.: Visit of the Obama Sunrise campaign office, 2116 N University Drive, Sunrise

Monday
11:45 a.m.: University of Miami early vote rally, The Rock at the University Center, 1306 Stanford Drive, Coral Gables
2:30 p.m.: Visit of the Hollywood campaign headquarters, 7050 Taft St., Hollywood
4:30 p.m.: Early vote march, Collins Park, 2100 Collins Ave., Miami Beach

9 days till the end of the right wing nightmare.

Maybe then we can bring the troops home & let the real Jason Bournes loose. When we outfox we dont need to outfight our enemies.

One truth, which has had the bleeding heart liberals and politicians of the West in denial for many decades, has been that truth which dare not speak its name out loud, that unspeakable truth being, black racism.

Really, who cares what Matt Damon or any other celebrity has to say about the election process. Does being in movies make you a political “know-it-all”

When will Obama prove he is a citizen of this country? As of now, he’s not even eligible to be president.

Hahaha, ah, the desperation and nasty has really hit the right. The only whine left is the sour grapes. Get used to it folks, President Obama….

Celebs should just entertain and make movies stay out of politics! I respect the First Amendment, but do what
s best and stay out of politics! If you so determined to be heard than get out of entertaiment business and become a politial leader and by the way Mr. Damon what have you given back to the communities you live in? Do you help build low income areas or donate your money to poor people who are need of food, shelter and water here in sofl!

Ronald Reagan was a actor prior to becoming president. He did an admirable job. It goes to show that Obama has reach across a wide range of Americans. McClain doesn’t. Why bash Damon because of who he supports?

LOVE Good Will Hunting. LOVE the Bourne series. Matt Damon is hot.

BUT, he’s wrong on Obama. And his comments about Sarah Palin lack class and dignity.

    I’m voting for John McCain!

I can respect that jergirl!!!! I disagree however, I respect your decision

It’s mind boggling how many people support a totally unknown empty suit who is not even a U.S. citizen, and all his past records are sealed. What is known is that he is a communist/socialist with a very scary past.
Wake up America before it’s too late.

I’ve seen both Obama and McCain speak when they have been in the area and not only have I listened to what each propose, but have investigated through multiple sites the facts.

As much respect I have for McCain for his service - he is not the same McCain I was rooting for back in 2000. His pick of Palin sealed the deal for me……..God forbid something would happen to McCain if he were to become President - I fear what a President Palin would bring. Also, his campaign has been dishonorable.

I believe Colin Powell said it best - Obama is what this country needs now. He has the intelligence, temperament, and ideas to get our country back on track.

Florida - let’s not accept the “mushroom treatment” anymore and make the right decision on Nov 4th. Vote OBAMA!!!
