The managerial style of Thanos Papalexis, the Palm Beach businessman who’s facing extradition to the U.K. in connection with a murder in London, was a tad unorthodox, according to former employees.
Like the time when, as head of the West Palm Beach-based luxury fractional-ownership club Vita Luxury, he promised breast-augmentation surgery to one of two female employees: the one who’d be first to finish placing labels on thousands of envelopes.
Or when he asked employees to work as valets and servers at high-class swingers parties that Papalexis ran at the Manalapan mansion — a mansion he used at other times to host functions like a January fundraiser for former presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.
Once, Papalexis asked a female employee why she was resisting sleeping with him. Other workers, including her boyfriend, were watching the scene.

“It was a very sexually charged atmosphere,” said former Vita marketing director Brian Eisenberg. “But Thanos always wanted the office (on Flagler) to have an image of luxury and opulence and wealth.”
Other former employees of the now-defunct Vita told me no one knew which Papalexis they’d deal with.
At times, he flew into a rage fueled by foul language. Within the hour, he’d seek the victims of his tirades and hug them.
“You never knew what you were going to get from him,” Eisenberg confirmed. “But no one truly believed he may have killed someone.”
British authorities requested that U.S. Marshals in West Palm arrest Papalexis last week. He is accused of participating in the 2000 murder of a loner in a rough part of London. The 55-year-old victim was beaten by three suspects then strangled, allegedly because he wouldn’t move out of a building that Papalexis was trying to flip.
Among Papalexis’ trusted staff, said one former employee who asked to remain anonymous, was someone to organize sex parties in the $11 million mansion that Papalexis rented on the beach.
“He’d call those ‘bliss parties,’ ” said the former employee. “He used some lower-level Vita employees as valets and servers.”
Also among his trusted advisers was West Palm resident Dan Gorman. In 2002, before he hooked up with Papalexis, marketing specialist Gorman pleaded guilty to defrauding the Florida Department of Citrus. He was fined $95,000 and served six month in the county lockup.
When reached by cellphone, Gorman declined comment.
Sometime over the summer, Vita apparently ran out of cash.
“Some of us didn’t get paid for months,” said the former employee who asked not to be named. “No one wanted to quit because Thanos kept saying we’d be rich. But some of us lost their homes, cars, marriages over this guy, and we weren’t going to quit.”
Eisenberg described one scene that made him uneasy about the business.
“We had a meeting in his office, and he said debts were piling up and he wanted to disappear for a while then come back and start over,” he said.
I am wondering why this is relagated to Page two, with no disrespect to Jose. Maybe it has something to do with the Frankel part. This story is more then Gossip.

Eisenberg is trying to get the picture out there so the employees and those who have been screwed by Thanos can get their message across. All that is said is about the murder that no Vita employees knew about. He is just trying to tell our side of the story. Thanos screwed all employees, vendors and investors and all the news is about the murder. Don;t the employees derserve a chance to vent and to inform the public that we were not all involved with his escapades.

Who is Jeffrey Petit and man he has big balls. Does he even know Brian? Somebody had to say something. At least he was careful with words and doesn’t throw any of his former colleagues under the bus.
brian wanted nothing more than to be welcomed into tp’s inner circle. if he said grab your ankles, i’ll bet he’d do it. but he wasn’t welcomed into his inner circle. so brian is bitter and has been. he was so enthralled with his lifestyle. as we can see, he knows much more about it than anyone. the fact that he’d use his name and title in these articles shows that he would not be against profiting from this mess, instead of letting it go. brian is a wannabe. and wasn’t much of a ‘marketing manager’ either.
It’s astonishing that in terms of the financial fraud this fellow perpetrated - the bigger the lie, the easier it was for him to receive financing. People asking to borrow small fractions of what he was receiving would be put through rigorous background checks and asked to show financials that supported the extension of credit.
The PBP article is a bit light on the details, but this fellow was getting financing, renting mansions (then not paying the 3rd and subsequent months rent, yet still having possession of the rented properties at least 7 months later…) and generally receiving credit that no one I know could obtain, and that no one I know would dare extend. It tells you more about the gullibility of his employees and associates, and especially his lenders and landlords than it does about him. Classic Palm Beach story.
I have been following this story with mild amusement at best. I met Thanos & his staff at a Vita Luxury promotional event hosted at the Manalapan estate. I can tell you that this Brian Eisenburgh was nothing more than a valet at this event. He was delegated to parking my vehicle. On a subsequent sales outing, Brian was in a gofers role, fetching & running errands of no importance. Anyone could see that Mr Papalexis had surrounded himself with overpayed & underqualified individuals who looked up to him & wanted nothing more than to bask in the limelight of his luxurious lifestyle, illusion of not. Scam artist, most likely. Unethical, probably. But shame on you Brian for being so desperate for the acceptance that you never received from his “inner circle” that you publicly persecute him now. You could have and should have resigned at the first sign of unethical dealings. You stayed because you wanted to. This makes you an accomplice to these ill fated business dealings. Wise up people.. the Papalexis empire is alive & strong in Europe. Signing your name to such ignorant comments puts you and you alone in the bullseye of Greek vengence. How do you sleep at night?

How would you ever know what role Mr. Eisenberg played? Don’t speak of things you nothing of. Mr. isenberg never wanted to be in TP’s inner circle and he is one of the only ones that tried to keep Thanos on the up and up. I have spoken to him since all of this happened and he really doesn’t care what Thanos supporters think. Just look at who you are defending. Enough said and as of Friday, gone is gone. And Jonathan, if he parked your car, how would you know his name. I worked that event with him and he never valeted a car. Get your facts straight and lets not forget, you are supporting a mudered suspect.

FACT - Your spelling and grammatical aptitude (or lack their of)is absolutely atrocious! You must have held a VP’s position within this morally polluted & ethically bankrupt organization.
FACT - Brian Eisenberg DID park my vehicle at the Vita Sales Event & many others. He gave me his business card.
FACT - Brian Eisenberg DID run insignificant “Do Boy” errands at the Open House Sales Luncheon.
FACT - Brian Eisenberg WAS aware of the unethical inner dealings of this organization yet stayed till the VERY end, long after 95% of his peers jumped ship.
FACT - It was not I who threw his name into this circus of circumstance. In fact, it was Brian Eisenberg who did this to himself.
FACT - This is not the only place that freely quotes Mr Eisenberg as a free source reference. He has only brought the hammer down upon himself.
My prayers and deepest sentiments are truly with each and every individual & family that was negatively impacted by this entire fiasco. However, slinging eachother into the mud at this point will only perpetuate the heartache & suffering that you’ve all unjustly endured. But convicting eachother in the court of public opinion won’t hasten the healing process.
