Karl Rove Slithers Into Town

Political Darth Vader Karl Rove was spotted getting picked up in a limousine at PBIA Thursday night after he walked off a flight from Charlotte, N.C.

For obvious reasons, the driver wasn’t holding a sign with Rove’s name on it.

Instead, the sign bore random initials with a “-R” at the end. The Bush White House’s dark prince was heard asking to be dropped at The Breakers. Mrs. Vader, a.k.a. Darby Hickson, arrived two hours earlier from Atlanta and she, too, was taken to the resort.

Wow Dan are you sticking up for Karl Rove? I didn’t think he had any fans, at least not since he helped wreck our country.

I would take Jose over Rove any day–in bed.

You just had to ruin an otherwise somewhat interesting story with your absurd political bias… Just another reason why I despise the Palm Beach Post…

Classy Cheryl! You must be a rhode scholar. The truth is that you demonize Rove because he helped defeat two left-wing politicians. Face it, Al Gore was a phony and possible racist. Al Gore is the man whose 1988 campaign first ran the Willy Horton story. John Kerry was the guy who lied in 1971 and talked about atrocities involving American soldiers in Vietnam that later proved unsubstantiated. My advice to you is just go home and chill in front of your picture of Barack. I’d point out that Democrats haven’t fared too well in the office of the president. Cleveland and Carter failed to be reelected. LBJ was forced to be a one termer. Clinton had to run center-right after 1995 to survive. Republicans have won 23 of 38 presidential elections since the two parties began competing in 1856. Obama had to change his positions during the campaign to support the death penalty and promise no more gun control measures(positions opposite to how he voted in Illinois). Also, Obama has to be careful about 2010. In 1994, the Republicans won congress. In 1980, they won the senate and presidency. In 1966, they won over 40 seats and two years later the presidency. My advice is to enjoy your moment. American style pseudo-socialism has succeeded. However, I’d remember that socialism hasn’t succeeded in any country where its been tried. Also, Iraq was won because of a surge that McCain supported and Obama didn’t. You may hate McCain and the republicans but trust me history will show McCain to have been America’s Winston Churchill. As for Obama, lets see how determined he remains about Afghanistan if the polls shift against our involvement. Then again, the most recent Al-Qaeda tape insulted Obama so maybe the left will finally want to fight the terrorists(instead of simply issuing arrest warrants to place them in civilian courts). Maybe that will inspire the left to fight the terrorists because you guys seem to want to ignore the 3,000 Americans who were murdered on 9/11. Perhaps thats the secret! The left only want the U.S. to win when the president is of their party. Fairweather patriot, heh! Some of us believe victory is more important than party. Did you root against Reagan during the Cold War because his party began with an r instead of a d?

Dan: Right on. Cheryl: Ignorant of the facts. Toocute: Ignorant again, also innapropriate and slutty. Jack, you are the Rhode’s Scholar. The management should be ashamed of staff like Mr. Lambiet (is he a French/Mexican illegal?) that use such bias in reporting. I am a former resident of Lantana, and am ashamed of the Left turn Florida has made since I left there 17 years ago. Journalism died in 2008. You “journalists” should be ashamed of yourselves. Karl Rove has a few warts, but has helped steer this nation in the correct direction. If you would read your history instead of read the Palm Beach Post, you would know this.

Tater, what can I say? I guess we Republicans “are” inappropriate and slutty from time to time.

History will judge Rove and the Bush Administration much differently than the left wingers who dabble in politics when it is convenient to their hippy dippy lifestyles. The political train ran off the tracks when the democrats took congress in ‘06. Meanwhile, it is an interesting sidebar, - the obvious pleasure you Libs take in the misfortunes of others!
