Ah, those New York drivers!

You just know that if Rudy Giuliani did in Manhattan what he did in Palm Beach Sunday afternoon, his car would’ve been towed in, well, a New York minute.

A bystander text-messaged Page2Live the play-by-play. He watched America’s Mayor cause a minor traffic jam when he abandoned his dark blue set of wheels in the middle of a turn lane on Royal Poinciana.

And it was all so that the 9-11 hero could get ice cream at the busy Sprinkles Café.

Giuliani ordered sugar-free cappuccino flakes, his usual flavor, then hurried back to the car under the glare of ticked-off motorists wondering why he didn’t park in an open spot 10 feet away.

Now, I can see Giuliani getting two tickets here: One for the parking job, and another for eating sugar-free ice cream!

It happens all of the time in front of Publix or any ATM. And it’s usually people who are, let’s say a bit on the chubby side, and could use a good walk!

oink oink….sounds like perfectly acceptable self centered palm beach oinker behaviour from an individual who is too good for the rules everyone else must follow…

Just want to say as the owner of Sprinkles Ice Cream, Mr. & Mrs. Giuliani are always a perfect lady and gentleman. While many people do illegally park on the curb and/or get dropped off in front of the store, that is not the case with the Giulianis. Further, I have never observed such a sense of ‘entitlement’ by them and “oink, oink?”…. try reading next time…. “sugar free ice cream…” or if that doesn’t work try looking at recent photos!
