Bling luncheon lures ‘Sex’ writer Candace Bushnell
Nearly 270 women attended Tuesday’s It’s A Bling Thing luncheon at Mar-a-Lago, where titillating keynote speaker Candace Bushnell talked about orgasms.
I guess she can. After all, she wrote Sex and the City.
The $300-per Palm Beach shindig was to benefit KidSanctuary.
The ladies did learn something about Bushnell: She apparently isn’t sure whether she’s ever had an orgasm!
As for how organizers paid Bushnell’s $15,000-plus speaker’s fee, I’m told they booked her when the economy was still somewhat decent.

Wish I had known they were blowing 15K on entertainement BEFORE I gave my donation.
You need to spend money before you make money- You need an attraction to get people to attend. Surely this was not your first time at the rodeo.
Lovely luncheon, Candice’s speech was awesome she really grabbed my attention
So, the audience never learned if Candace ever had an orgasm? What a let-down. When I hear those grunts and moans from my lady, then I know what that is. Maybe Candace is too prissy to let us know.
As smooth as the event went I could notice the hard work that Mia Matthews and the rest of the committee put into it. Great Job!
I was very happy attending this event because the donation is for a good cause. It’s satisfacting to know that after the great efort that the committee put into this luncheon these donation are gona make somebodys life a little easier.
Mia Matthews and all the representatives of the committee really worked hard to put it together and it showed. Thanks!! I had a great time
They should have attended in the nude and then that would have been worth seeing!!
The speech by Candice was absolutely touching at least for me. The food and the whole event was very organized and well done not to mention that at the end its for a good cause.
I thought she was going to talk about her new book with that gyno to the stars Dr Rand Pink.I heard he writes comdey and is a filmaker now but a literary friend told me this is Sex And The City through the eyes of a gynecologist in the 80′5.
