Tax Day is going to be a little more colorful in West Palm Beach.

Republican organizers are putting together an April 15 “tea party” at the county government center.

teapartyThe protest will mirror similar so-called “tea parties” elsewhere in the country, all against Pres. Barack Obama’s economic policies, bailouts and stimulus packages.

The county’s Young Republicans vice president, Everett Wilkinson, told Page2Live that members are trying to convince local Conservative radio talkmeister Rush Limbaugh to be a keynote speaker.

“We waiting to hear,” Wilkinson said. “We reached out to other locals as well. We’ve written (Lake Worth-based Fox News consultant) Dick Morris and (Palm Beach-based populist author) Ann Coulter.”

Over the past two months, former U.S. congressmen Dick Armey and Newt Gingrich have appeared at many of the 100-plus “tea parties.”

So, what is it?

Using the imagery of the 1773 anti-tax protest that became known as the Boston Tea Party, the events are attended by those who believe that the deficit caused by the White House’s economic policies will lead to huge tax hikes.

“Any person in this country younger than 40 somehow will end up having to pay $200,000 to cover this deficit,” Wilkinson said. “And the policies aren’t creating jobs. If anything, they’ll cause more job losses. Governments don’t create jobs. The market does.”

No, protestors won’t dump tea into the Intracoastal. But the wingding promises to be rich in symbolism, including its “debtors’ prison.”

Picking up on a concept used at this country’s birth, when those who didn’t repay the money they owed were jailed, organizers will set up their own holding cell occupied by children wearing prison garb.

“Our children will have to pay and that’s just not right,” said Wilkinson, a financial advisor. “It’s not about Republican or Democrat. It’s about America.”

Isn’t it a little strange to protest at a time when Wall Street’s picking up speed?

“It’s temporary,” Wilkinson said.

He expects 1,000 people April 15, although more than 4,000 showed up last weekend at the Orlando tea party.

Are you going?

We have committed massive theft of intergenerational wealth. We have put our young in a Debtors’ Prison that will revoke their Birthright to their American Dream. It’s time for our young to Get Out of Jail Free.
    Come to the TEA PARTY!!!

He IS the president whether you like it or not. Have some respect.

Hopefully the press including the Palm Beach Post will cover this non-partisan gathering. If you google “Tea Party”, you will find that this is not strictly a Republican movement…it is truly non-partisan / Dems, Repubs and even Liberterians! There really is no specific political party behind the “national” movement…it has been organized in over 150 cities (and growing) by “commoners” of all walks of life, a truly grassroots movement. Most info is found through posting to Facebook, YouTube & Twitter. In fact Republicans are as much a target as the Dems! And most of the anger is not directed at Obama, but Congress!!! Shame on the MMS (mainstream media) for not covering this… caused by Dem controlled media perceiving it as a Republican sneak move, therefore unworthy of reporting. It’s not! We just tired as a people, and we aren’t going to take it any more! Message to Congress, get down off your partisan soapboxes where you are already campaigning and get to work doing the will of the folks who elected you, or suffer the backlash in the elections of 2010 and 12012. Check out the following websites to get a real view of the picture.

    Trixie,
We are protesting policies, not the man. It isn’t treason in this country to exercise our First Amendment right to freedom of expression. You seem to have confused the United States of America with Hugo Chavez’s Venezuela.

You can’t please everyone all the time. Obama was elected BY THE PEOPLE, and whether you like it or not, he is our president. We all stood by while Bush dug us a bigger and bigger hole…someone has to fix it. Ol’ wolf shooter Palin was NOT the person to do it, and unfortunatley for the republican party, McCain came with her. So having this gathering will accomplish what? Give unhappy people a place to be unhappy with others? Give them a place to complain about something that can not be changed until we vote again? It just seems like a big waste of peoples time & effort.

  10. Comment by me, myself, and I — March 24, 2009 @ 9:26 pm

How sad that some cannot or will not see who was the problem that caused our present president to have to make these hard choices. He was not in office over the past eight years; he is not to blame. “We have put our young in debtors’ prison?” No, we haven’t. You know who did it.

  11. Comment by StevenRosenblum — March 24, 2009 @ 9:28 pm

We can change who’s in the Oval Office until 2012 and we can’t change the make up of the Congress until 2010. But perhaps we can mitigate the damage that is done if we make our opinions known, loudly and clearly. Again, we’re not attacking the President. just his policies that will lead this country to financial ruin. Calling Governor Sarah Palin disparaging names IS a waste of time. If you feel that this protest is a waste of your time, by all means STAY HOME!

  12. Comment by Mark Martin — March 24, 2009 @ 9:28 pm

This event is not just for Republicans but for all who share in the belief that our country is headed down the wrong path and that the outrageous spending must stop. The government is bankrupting our future and our children’s future.

“An unlimited power to tax involves, necessarily, a power to destroy; because there is a limit beyond which no institution and no property can bear taxation.” -John Marshall

“We must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must make our selection between economy and liberty or profusion and servitude. If we run into such debts as that we must be taxed in our meat in our drink, in our necessities and comforts, in our labors and in our amusements, for our callings and our creeds…our people.. must come to labor sixteen hours in the twenty-four, give earnings of fifteen of these to the government for their debts and daily expenses; and the sixteenth being insufficient to afford us bread, we must live. - Thomas Jefferson

  13. Comment by mark sneckenburg — March 24, 2009 @ 9:31 pm

Although we cannot please everyone, we can hold our representatives to act in a responsible manner reflecting the will of the people. That is currently not happening so we must proactively illustrate to the elected officials that their actions are not inline with our mandates. I read the Articles of the Constitution and its 27 Amendments last weekend and know that the current actions are not consistent with the beliefs of the founding fathers. That is why we must gather on April 15.

  14. Comment by StevenRosenblum — March 24, 2009 @ 9:33 pm

Yes, we know who put future generations in debt. Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and other Democrats (and some Republicans) that insisted that Fannie and Freddie loan to people that couldn’t pay for their mortgages. Then insisted that there be no regulations placed on Fannie and Freddie. And most recently Frank said that the two entities were solid when they were about to topple. Bush and McCain actually tried to reign in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac but were blocked by Dems led by Frank and Dodd.

Who ran up a bigger deficit in his first 2 years in office than the previous 100 years of federal government?Ronald Regan.
Who enacted the largest tax increase ever
in the history of this nation, spread over 10 years?
    Ronald Regan.
Who allowed the savings and loan industry
to fail, with 84% of the failure in Texas , along with
a free federal bail out? George Bush 1.Who began his administration with a balanced budget and a 267 billion
dollar surplus? Bush 2. Who was warned by the Clinton Administration of the attacks of Sept.11 30 days prior to them happening? Bush 2.
Who tripled the deficit, killed the economy, gave the banking system a free 780 billion dollar, just do what you want to do with it bail out? Bush 2. Who blames everyone else for the failings of this country?
The Republicans whose recent legacy includes, Watergate, Iran-Contra, S&L Bailout,
Desert Storm, 911, Katrina, Afghanistan-Iraq War.
IF YOU DON’T BELIEVE THIS LOOK IT UP!
YOU MUST ALL BE SO PROUD!
To say that the current administration is in anyway responsible for the state of this country at this time is absurd! Your the pompous, arrogant and incompetent
Republicans who scream about how right you are, and when you’re wrong say “so, what are you going to do about it?” We voted you and your incompetent President
out of office and started cleaning up YOUR MESS!
So please shut up and pay your fair share for a change
    and stop stealing our money!
    THANK YOU!

Personal attacks, using caps, and rewriting history as told by the Daily Kos and Media Matters won’t make what you’re saying any more credible. But you have the First Amendment right to spew what you’re spewing. So have at it.

I will definitely be there. America is heading down the wrong direction with the bailouts. I thought Obama was going to change Washington, not leave us with change!

  18. Comment by Susan — March 24, 2009 @ 10:16 pm

    Trixie,
While I understand your pain the truth is that Obama was forced down our collective throats. Someone noted that we are not protesting the man but the policies and I add that we are protesting both. You said have some respect? Ask Obama to respect our Country, of which we still have no proof of citizenship. He does not respect America nor does his wife. We may have to tolerate their presence but we do not have to take it laying down.

  19. Comment by Mark Martin — March 24, 2009 @ 10:27 pm

    Paul,
How am I stealing your money, loudmouth? Where do you get off saying that we don’t pay our share?

Add up all the taxes - income taxes, property taxes, sales taxes, gas taxes, taxes on all our utility bills, the increased cost of goods and services passed on to us by companies who pay the second highest tax rate in the world. License fees, vehicle registration fees, business license fees, annual corporate filing fees. The list is endless.

If you believe that all this spending is going to help then I suggest you do your share and go out and spend everything you have and then max-out your credit cards. When you’re done I dare you to come back to me and say that your economic situation improved by doing so.

As for Reagan, it is often noted that the government debt grew substantially during his presidency. This statement is misleading. The explicit public debt did increase between 1980 and 1988 - from 26.1 percent of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) to 40.9 percent. However, based on the alternative measure of Social Security’s unfunded obligations, over the same period implicit Social Security debt actually fell - because of the reforms adopted in 1983. As a result, the combined Social Security and explicit government debt fell from 232 percent of GDP in 1980 to 157.5 percent of GDP in 1988. Thus the combined government debt was reduced by 32 percent - almost one-third - during Ronald Reagan’s term in office.

Have someone read this to you and maybe you’ll learn the truth, not bits and pieces of it.

I think we all need to be patient and give this administration a chance. They are tackling numerous issues that they inherited from previous administrations. They are consulting with the country’s top economists. Sure they are divided on what to do, but the only thing the administration can do is find a happy medium and work it from there. Do you think they want to fail??? Don’t be naive. The Prez has taken personal responsibility for correcting this mess. Now, you show me a Prez who has put so much on the line for his term. As far as this tea party, I think it’s a joke. I don’t even thing Rush would touch this one. I laugh at those who attend. Have a problem with my comments? I gladly invite you to email me so we can converse.

    Tea party………How dumb!

  22. Comment by Sherri — March 24, 2009 @ 10:38 pm

Obama and his buddies in Congress are not busy “cleaning up” a mess left by Bush. They are engaged in an opportunisitic POWER GRAB and massive heave toward SOCIALISM.

The Constitution limits Congress’ authority to tax, the broadest limitation being the authority to tax for the “general welfare.” However, earmarks are, by definition, taxes for the LIMITED welfare (of the particular recipients). Because the “stimulus” bill was nothing but some 9,000 earmarks strung together, the whole package was UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

DOESN’T THIS BOTHER ANYONE???????? Agree or disagree about the best way to deal with the economy, we should NOT be CAVALIER about UNCONSTITUTIONAL ACTS by those who have taken oaths to uphold the Constitution.

That is why I will be in attendance at the Tea Party. I have never looked forward to tax day in my life, except for right now. I can’t wait.

  23. Comment by StevenRosenblum — March 24, 2009 @ 10:47 pm

Mike, I disagree with you, but appreciate that your tone isn’t hostile and your arguments are coherent.

John, Is that the best comment you could muster?

  24. Comment by Scott — March 24, 2009 @ 10:47 pm

The Republicans need to face the facts that the American people voted them out of control of the White House and Congress, and for good reason. These tea parties demonstrate how pathetic the GOP has become.
I am a Republican. I voted for Obama and I am proud of it. The George W (stands for “whites only”) Bush administration was the most corrupt and inept regime that ever occupied the White House. Most Americans realize that W did a lousy job and the Great Recession is largely a result of his failed policies.

By the way…for those of you who are planning on going to this tea party…why didn’t you do this when W ran up the national debt? Why didn’t you do this when the Iraq War…the war that was going to pay for itself…began costing the American tax payers $8,000,000,000 a month for six years? (Our children will have to pay for that, too). Where was your rage when W ran up the biggest national debt in history while giving huge tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans? (Another one our kids will have to pay for). If you’re waiting until now to express your anger at the deficit, then you’re a hypocrite.
The Republicans created this mess. They offer no solutions, only criticism.(By the way, more tax cuts for the wealthy isn’t the answer…been there…done that…didn’t work). For everyone’s sake, we should hope Obama’s programs work.

  27. Comment by Mark Martin — March 24, 2009 @ 11:48 pm

    Scott,
You ask where were we when “W” ran up a deficit. We weren’t happy about that either but now the government wants to quadruple that deficit. So I ask you this…How can you complain about Bush’s deficits and not be concerned about a deficit four times the amount?

The Congressional Budget Office, a non-partisan agency of Congress, said its latest budget deficit estimate for fiscal 2009, which ends on September 30, would amount to 13.1 percent of the country’s entire economic output. The CBO estimate of red ink would dwarf the nation’s record 2008 fiscal budget deficit of 459 billion dollars, which amounted to a relatively tiny 3.2 percent of gross domestic product (GDP).

  28. Comment by John — March 24, 2009 @ 11:50 pm

    Bush Vs Obama
President Barack Obama has repeatedly claimed that his budget would cut the deficit by half by the end of his term. But as Heritage analyst Brian Riedl has pointed out, given that Obama has already helped quadruple the deficit with his stimulus package, pledging to halve it by 2013 is hardly ambitious. The Washington Post has a great graphic which helps put President Obama’s budget deficits in context of President Bush’s.

Hey Dems, Yes Bush spent too much money. Bush started a war (Dem controlled congress voted for it). Bush let Turbo Tax Timmy write the TARP bailout. Bush was a big spending liberal.

There, are you happy I agree with you.

Now for the rest of the story! Just because Bush spent too much does not give Obama the right to triple it in 90 days and he will.

We will be attacked soon and he has done nothing to try to stop it (being really nice does not work).
Bills of Attainder, forced servitude, corporate take over, Banking failures(Chwis Dodd and Bawney Fwank), and a march to socialism that even Russia and China called too Socialistic is all the reason we need to have our Tea Party. You may think it is stupid, but we are used to you Libs thinking anything American is stupid.

We do not want Obama dead or mutilated or to go hunting with Chaney, that is how you all show your lack of class and style. We just want Obama to be President of all 57 states not just the Blue states.
So you can cry about us meeting to show our united stance against socialism and huge government spending but that is how America works because if we dont it wont work like that any more.

For some reason it was ok when you screamed Die Bush Die, but it is not ok for us and we dont want him dead, we just want to kick Obama in the ACORNs.

  31. Comment by BocaBlonde — March 25, 2009 @ 1:11 am

I just wish people would realize that this is not a partisan protest, it is an American one. Whether you voted for Obama or not, you have to raise your eyebrows at these spending bills that no one even reads and just votes yes on. Where does everyone think we are getting this money from? We are printing it! The repercussions on our children have not even come into focus at this point (so far, it is something like EVERY family of three is in it for $116K, and that is so far). Wait until hyper-inflation hits when this money hits the market. The taxes we all pay now won’t buy as much. So taxes will need to be raised on everyone. If Sweden and France are telling us that we are too socialist, what does that tell you?!

  32. Comment by Robin Stublen — March 25, 2009 @ 1:27 am

You know this is not just about Obama. It is this insane path toward socialism that concerns me and what it will mean to my children.

Understand one thing people. If Obama receives his budget the burden of our debt will be over $850,000.000.000.00 in interest a year. JUST THE INTEREST nothing will go toward the principal. That is EXACTLY what happened to all these people who lost their homes, EXACTLY.

  33. Comment by Karlene — March 25, 2009 @ 2:38 am

If you love America and care what kind of future we will be leaving to our children and grandchildren, then you have no choice but to Take Back America. 34. Comment by QB — March 25, 2009 @ 2:44 am

This economic mess came from bad laws. BAD Regulation to demand banks loan to people that can not re pay loans( Community Reinvestment Act). It started THIRTY YEARS ago and snow balled in the last ten. After the democrats thought we needed to strong arm banks( ACORN) the republicans thought we could bury (BAD DE regulation by Gramm) Glass Stengel and let Banks sell insurance, etc. Clinton DIDN’T veto this folks. Then when things got really out of control more democrats said all was fine with Fannie & Freddie. The republicans didn’t take it to the people in 2006 and scream “we have a problem”. All the while no auditors were stopping AIG and big banks from betting like crazy Vegas gamblers with CREDIT DEFAULT SWAPS. These CDSs were made under Clinton’s watch. Somebody paid for AAA credit rating on BAD investments so pension funds would purchase the smelly things.

SO folks Democrats AND Republicans both smell on this - all are guilty of the mass greed. Washington D. C. needs the message that we want it to stop. STOP bailing crooked banks. Stop spending money we don’t have. Don’t dump debt on your children & grandchildren!
We need smaller, smarter, HONEST government from both sides. We haven’t had that in 50 years! Maybe we didn’t have it then but, it was a MUCH smaller government!

Government IS the problem. We don’t need a socialist system. We need to clean up our capitalist system. Keep the paper ballots - if ballot counting takes a month-FINE. The USSR tried socialism -failure. None of them have really made it to communism. They called it that but, someone was always more powerful and had more money so it was not equal. “Communism” has killed 100 million in the world.
Utopia doesn’t exist but, the USA had the best system going until we let Washington screw it up by not watching them. We should pay attention to boring politics and vote for honest politicians - are they really out there??? Teach your kids about politics and math so they can out count the politicians.

  35. Comment by Greg — March 25, 2009 @ 8:33 am

It is sad that some of you just don’t get it. I do not agree with BHO nor think he is honest and full of integrity, but he is NOT the SAVIOR! I agree that a “republican” government dug the hole deeper but one man and is policies are not going to repair the damage done. A bigger government with not repair what damage has been done! And NO, we DON’T have to wait until 2012 to make a change! Stand up to your government, tell them what you think, call your congressman and representatives in Washington, get involved in your local government and for God’s sake, and your CHILDREN’S sake, EDUCATE YOURSELVES! Education MUST precede activism! If we as a nation refuse to educate ourselves and understand the principles that this country was founded upon, we willingly give our freedom into the hands of those who can promise us handouts while they willingly eradicate our freedom! The government is a hole lot bigger than one man! Don’t let Washington belittle you and your family!

  40. Comment by TCFR — March 25, 2009 @ 10:35 am

    Paul:

You’re an idiot to drag Reagan into this. If not for Reagan, you’d likely be speaking Russian right now, and this would’ve become a communist socialist country long before Obama began turning it into one. Reagan–supported by Congress– spent money to improve our military which caused the breakup of one of the greatest military threats (USSR) to our country in history. Reagan also oversaw one of the greatest periods of economic growth in US history from which all of us–including you– have benefited.

BTW.. How can you blame 911 on Republicans? If I remember correctly pus*y Clinton and his man-friend Janet Reno knew where Bin Laden was during his administration, had a chance to take him out, but DIDN’T. Last I checked, the terrorists started the war HERE, and we didn’t start the war THERE. If you point the finger at the repubs, shouldn’t you also point the finger at your own party? Let’s be fair here.

Katrina? Don’t get me started. Did the republicans cause the hurricane or was it nature? Weren’t all those people told to evacuate? Why didn’t they? Oh, they made a bad choice, so let’s blame republicans for their poor judgement. I bet come every mini-cane we have here, you’re among those who drain our system and wait in long, hot lines for food, water and ice when the news people and emergency planners tell you to be “be prepared” and you’re not. I laugh at and pity you at the same time.

As for this financial mess, Americans have noone but themselves to blame. Is the government responsible for your credit card debt? Is the government responsible for your foreclosure because you were dumb enough to get an adjustable rate mortage? Maybe if you’d paid cash for a Kia instead of financing your $600/month luxury vehicle, you’d be able to sleep at night. You can point to the greed of our statesmen, the bank execs, the Madoffs and others.. but at the end of the day, YOU–and only you– are responsible for your finances– not the republicans.. and certainly not our nation or countrymen/women.

It is our country’s responsibility to ensure we all start out on equal footing–equal opportunities, a good eduction, good healthcare, etc. But, it’s not our country’s responsibility to bailout those who were irresponsible with their finances due to greed or poor judgement.

Life’s tough sometimes, but you’re going to have to suck it up. Because Obama didn’t win this election in a landslide. In fact, this country was very divided in terms of how it voted and in what direction it wants to go.

I believe our nation’s greatest moment is ahead.. when true American patriots step forward, take back their country and ultimately prevail over the greatest threat to our constitution and our country: Barack Hussein Obama and liberal losers.

Paul appears to be an angry person. I will bet that he does not have a job or as unable to perform well in the private sector.
I pay more than my fair share in taxes. If I have some money is because I have worked very hard and continue to work hard. Nobody has given me a handout. I am proud of my own limited accomplishments and don’t hate or envy those that are more successful than me.
Paul reflects Obama’s hate for those that have accomplished something in life.

First of all, this ‘Tea Party was going on way before any Republican organizers got involved. The primary people behind ALL the ‘Tea Parties’ are the “We Surround Them” grassroots group that was sparked by Glenn Beck. I have been to 2 events already, and the most prominent political party is the Constitution Party. I have seen dozens of people switch from the RepublicRats and Demagogs to the ONLY Party that STANDS for the Constitution that the phonies do not follow - at all!

Wake up people, and join the Glenn Beck 912 Project, check out the Constitution Party, and never forget that We(the people) - Surround Them(the power hungry public servants)!!

Susan your answer to Trixie is correct! obama is Not eligible to be the President, in fact he could NOT pass security tests to be on his own security detail! But even more importantly, he is an Indonesian Citizen(illegal alien), and has spent almost 1 million bucks to keep all his records sealed! He will not show us his college records, medical records, nor his Vault copy of his Birth Certificate - the one with the Doctor’s name and signature, and Hospital with seal!!!

More than 100 Military Officers, including several Generals are suing the stranger from Kenya, to see documentation before they will follow his command. Facts are facts, and the truth is marching on!!

QB–you are exactly right–excellent comments! I will be attending a tea party in Savannah on April 15, as my son fights in Afghanistan and BHO takes away even more of OUR freedoms. We need term limits (except how do we get those passed with career politicians in control???) and we need to vote every incumbent out in 2010 and 2012.
What I don’t understand is the lack of common sense among supporters of the bailouts and uncontrolled spending. Our country is basically bankrupt and, as illustrated by yesterday’s poor sales of 5-year bonds, not able to borrow much more. If a household can’t pay their monthly bills, and can’t borrow more, what happens? Same thing with our country and people don’t understand it.
What happens when China calls our debt? They will soon be able to take us over economically if they wish, and that has been their stated goal for years. I guess the larger military they are amassing is to subdue us when they own us financially.
PLEASE people, read the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Since FDR, we have lost our way and it is accelerating now exponetially. I am truly scared.

The Silent Majority, Silent No More

Americans MUST come out in massive numbers, and we need to ROAR! American citizens need to get Obama and Washington D.C.’s attention RIGHT NOW and let them know we aren’t kidding. The damage they are doing is INTENTIONAL and it needs to come to a grinding halt immediately.

Please tell everyone you know about these events, being held nationally. Call your families back home and make sure they plan on attending their local rally. ALL Americans need to come out in defense of America. Let’s put her back on her pedestal where she belongs!

Gee, Trixie, why is that you Dems always take affront at anyone blasting your candidate-elected official. And yet, on the day George Bush was elected, all of my Dem friends told me, “I hate George Bush!” I guess it’s only “hate speech” and treason when those on the right say something against those on the left, but not vice versa. But of course to those of you on the left, treason is reserved only for those of us who really get it, isn’t it? Those who follow the herd can’t be guilty of treason, because they can’t think for themselves. Try it sometime. Stop following your herd, and try striking out on your own. Get a life!!

The real elephant in the room is The Federal Reserve. Since they acquired control over our currency in the dark of night (the Aldridge Act) in 1910. It has been down hill ever since. The original swindle..the first ultimate violation of our Constitution. Woodrow Wilson signed the act into law (he was beholding to the authors of the bill) since they financed his campaign and got him elected. The biggest illusion is that most Americans believe that the Fed is part of the Government but in reality it was established by the rich European barons who funneled capital from Europe by people like the Rothschild. Check your history. Google The Aldridge Act, or Congressman Louis Mc Fadden, or even the secrets of the Federal Reserve. It will curl your hair. After doing the research you will soon see who really runs the country and has impact globally on the economy.

Hey Jose, Why is it that I only see info on the April 15 tax protest ( American Tea Party) on your blog? Why is there absolutely nothing in the main sections of the Palm Beach Post? or it’s on-line version? Must be a Democratically owned newspaper printing only what the DC machine wants. And now that I think of it, it includes all news media in PBC. Conspiracy or fair and impartial news reporting. Please note yet once again, this is NOT a republican movement, it is an American citizens’ movement.

    To All:
Thanks for your comments. I look forward to seeing everyone there on April 15. As some mentioned, I would like to point out that this is NOT a Republican or Democrat event. This event is for all Americans regardless of color and political views. The debt that will be past on to future generations will not be paid by one group.

“Tea Party Protest - Not a Republican or Democrat thing, but an American Tradition.”

To those of you who want to “give Obama a chance” because “he inherited all this from the previous adminsitration…” HELLO, he part of the previous administration that looked the other way while Fannie and Freddie and the federal budget ran wild. Convenient memory loss or stupidity? Either way, drop the party lines. We are all being fleeced by all politicians. They are only looking out for their own careers. The federal reserve is where the real power lies, not with the puppets (presidents). And the federal reserve loves Obama because he can wink and smile and steal every bit of “change” out of your pockets while you lemmings follow his shadow right over a cliff.

    Free Country? Tea Party. Non-Partisan.
    Take Back America.

  51. Comment by Brickhouse — March 29, 2009 @ 10:50 pm

I downloaded the Tea Party Protest flyer for our local protest and mailed it to all my cousins and friends. We need to get massive numbers of people attending the rallies nationwide. Obama will ignore us, but our Senators and Congresspersons will notice what is going on in their own districts. Maybe if they see that taking Obama’s position will end their own political careers, they just might do the right thing out of fear.

Personally, I think in 2010 we should vote in totally new people, except for the few conservatives in Washington, D.C. doing their best to put up a fight all by themselves. Those few Republicans make me proud. The American people have the power to set term limits; it’s called “voting.”

I LOVE AMERICA, not democrats and republicans who bear no responsibility for geting all of us into this nightmare. we must stand together and (not stop) puting presure on our government to pay off the trillions of dollars of debt now, and not latter for our childern to paid. I have a plan to simulate our economy without spending trilions of wasted dollars. We the people rebuild the economy by contributing a monthy fee of maybe $10.00 each and start rebuidling manufacting base.IF we band together starting with a couple of million people it could grow to maybe (50 million) or more people thats a real tea party. My expamle is to start in a state with the hightest umployment rate (EXPAMPLE MICHIGAN) and make a deal with the governor for FREE or CHEAP LAND to build our first manufacting site and make the site run on solar power so we have no utily bills. It would give someone a great opportunity to own a manufacting business FREE.EXPAMPLE someone in a business like making cloths or shoe or whatever with a good trackrecord. by the way we do not make anything in this county. we need to buy our own goods to be strong again. We could have a two front tea party (1-REBUILDING THE COUNTY)and 2-hold the goverment acountable for the irresponsible spending and pay off the debt. SO PLEASE AMERICANS THINK ABOUT IT ,PLEASE GIVE ME SOME HELP WITH IDEALS AND FEEDBACK> thanks pete

I would like to see the following suggestions addressed to the people who are setting up their Tea Parties. I believe they should be directing their protesters to keep their signs credible and dignified. I have not been to a Tea Party yet but I plan to attend one on the 15th. Ours is a very liberal town and I have no doubt that our Tea Party will be attended by some hard over liberals, looking to criticize and some independents who are on the fence and can be convinced to continue to protest with us. These are the people we want to impress because those of us who are already mad as hell don’t need to be convinced that America is being destroyed.

I feel that mentioning the words conservative, republican or any other partisan party in the material relating to this movement is detrimental to the cause. I think that demeaning pictures and words about any particular individual or political party defeats our purpose and our credibility. THIS IS NOT ABOUT BEING A DEMOCRAT OR A REPUBLICAN - IT IS ABOUT BEING AN AMERICAN. THIS IS ABOUT AMERICANS PROTESTING BAD GOVERNMENT ON BOTH SIDES OF THE ISLE.

Many of my friends are democrats and I know a lot of independents. I am hearing pinpoints of doubt from the hard over dems regarding the irresponsible measures being taken by this congress in its zeal to make America socialistic. Many of the signs I have seen on the u-tube videos are nasty and childish and do not dignify the important points we are trying to make. Many people still worship the new president but are beginning to realize that what is coming out of congress is bad for America. We need to appeal to their doubts about government behavior and let them come around to their own conclusions regarding the President. Blasting President Obama only alienates people before they get a chance to listen to the important things we have to say.

Please use your web site to get this message out. If we want our numbers to grow, we need to come across as informed, dedicated and responsible to those who have been brainwashed by the media.

    Sincerely,
    Judy Niedzwiecke

2010 Elections can get their attention. Start running NOW and get their attention. Use every opportunity such as Tea Parties to lambast the tax and spenders publicly.

We need candidates to speak up loudly and immediately that 2010 is around the corner, and voters will start the process of taking back America. We need people to run for all local offices. Don’t leave a single position unopposed!!!

Too many Americans have been sleeping while the liberal socialists have quietly creeped into the forefront of our society and initiated change that, if unblocked, will destroy the greatest society ever known to mankind. Obama doesn’t even have the background to understand the incredible responsibility that goes along with the Presidency. As a college professor and a community actioon organizer he has no understanding of business and less understanding of the military and the perils of weakness than any President in our history. He is little more than the face and spokesman of socialism in America while even more sinster forces like Nancy Pelosi, Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Charles Schumer and Harry Reed control the political agenda.

It’s time for the real Americans to stand up and take back our country forcing implementation of principled ideas like term limits, a strong military, school choice, tax reform, restraint in government and a responsible America where any citizen can be a success if they are willing to roll up their sleves and work for it and an America where those who are unwilling to work and contribute are forced to live with the consequences of their own actions!

While I can understand and agree with everyones right for free speech, what I don’t understand is the mention of trying to get either Rush Limbaugh or Ann Coulter as speakers. They are two of the most divisive people I can think of. I’m sorry but I can’t see Rush being ‘one of the people’ as he lives in his Palm Beach mansion and Coulter would probably only speak if she had a new book to shill. In my opinion, a ‘great’ American can bring people together regardless of their politics and they usually are anonymous. They just go about their business day to day and try to do the right(correct lol) thing.

We can end most of our problems in 90 days!

Put a $1000 bounty on the heads of every illegal

$10,000 bounty on the heads of every employer who hires them. Give them 30 days to deport themselves

Pay that bounty to the first US citizen that turns them in…theat money will end back in our economy

That will put our jobless, homeless Americans back to work, under roof and the billions that illegals send to their home countries will remain here where it belongs

Instead of having shoved down our throats that illegals do “the job that Americans won’t do” we will change that tune to doing the job AMERICAN LAWMAKERS WON”T DO…

do it without violence, just take over their jobs

and resind birth rights to all anchor babies

  68. Comment by Dr. Bear Ph.D. — April 2, 2009 @ 6:00 pm

Anyone considering getting involved with a “Tea Party” instigated by Boss Limbaugh ought to have their head examined. And this is why: First, this President did not STEAL the election from the opposing Party like his predecessor. And when it was stolen you did not see any rioting in the streets, any complaining by the Democrats after all was said and done. Yet, the Right Wingers lose this election and they cannot stand it. Simply put. It is either a case of them not agreeing with the popular vote and the current polls indicating that this President is gaining ground or their are racial undertones that simply will not be resolved because we as Americans have deluded oursleves into believing that we have actually overcome the Race issue. Second, can nobody see that this is bordering on overthrowing the Government of the United States of America? This is actually a punishable crime. It is called treasonous acts against our Government. Why can people not just let well enough alone? They did not seem to mind the deficit that was being increased by trillions of dollars due to a War that was orchestrated by a man who wanted to simply exact revenge for his poor old Daddy who did not finish the job when we were there in the first place? When President Clinton handed the current Administration a surplus of trillions of dollars why was there no “tea parties” taking place then? I will tell you why: Becasuse despite Al Gore winning the Popular vote, a would be President running all the way to the Highest Court in the Land to hear he would be the President thereby stealing the will of the American people away from them, the Democrats did the AMERICAN thing to do. We pouted, yes, we even groaned. But we NEVER did not rally behind the President once Al Gore conceded. So, here we have a situation where the President of the United States must be deluding almost 70% of the populace. Incredible! Unbelievable! You may as well say that your fellow man is an idiot if you do not get behind the current Adminstration. And PLEASE do not give me that crud that you are sooooo concerned about the debt that you are leaving your children. Because the reality is you are not. This Country has been overconsuming for years and nobody cared. Furthermore, when it was apparent that the Banks could get no more money from “Traditional mortgages” your President and his Treasury decided to create alternative means to get money so people could do what? Buy more!!!! The reason we are in the boat we are in is all due to one man who lied to the American people, told them that there were Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq, stated that Al-Quadea was in Iraq, and furthermore, stated that they had nuclear capabilities. When President Clinton was caught in what I consider the most embarassing moment for a President the Right Wingers (the compassionate conservatives) never once blamed the action of his engaging in sex, but criticized his lying about it. The Right Wing Party is now known as the Wing Ding Party. They cannot get a message straight as Boss Limbaugh still gaining high ratings for his show allowing him to purchase more Oxcycotin from his maid keeps the drums a beating. Now, I have outlined a basic case against the tea party. I do not care if it appears on the front page of every major newspaper and this is why. The Right Wing Party is in the progress of taking this Country down a very dangerous path when they embrace and do not censure the remarks of people such as Michelle Bachman when she misquotes Jefferson in stating that the Country every now and then needs a revolution. While it is true that Jefferson made that statement he made the statement with regards to our Country breaking free from British Rule; not to break away from our own Government. It seems to me that what the Republicans need to do is to allow the RNC to determine the future of their Party; not Boss Limbaugh. Perhaps they can get Billo to be their speaker at the next convention. Talk about FIXED NEWS? People better lower the rhetoric or we are headed to a Civil War. No doubt in my mind.

Reagan–supported by Congress– spent money to improve our military which caused the breakup of one of the greatest military threats (USSR) to our country in history. Reagan also oversaw one of the greatest periods of economic growth in US history from which all of us–including you– have benefited.

Now thats a load of BS. Reagan just happened to be in the right place at the right time. USSR beat themselves by spend most of their nations money on arms. On top of that they isolated themselves from the rest pf the world while doing it .(Sounds like the same thing republicans were doing the last 8 years at least .)

Also under Reagan we started to run higher deficits and lets not forget Iran/Contra , you remember that where Reagan was no sooner in office that the hostages were let go . Selling arms to Iran didnt help that did it ?

Economic growth to republicans is more poor people also under Reagan that happened. Guess thats what you get when you hire a actor to do a mans job. You know those actors from Hollywood that the right always cries about are doing harm to the country. Funny thing there its the republican who put them in office while complaing about them.

Good luck at your tea party hope you all get Rush and Coulter to come . LOL

Trixie, after listening to Mr Obama cut down Bush for 2 years in front of huge crowds, I feel no compulsion to just sit and watch him destroy our beloved country silently. And make no mistake his great experiment to fix our economy by trying to spend our way out of it is not working. He is fiscally irresponsible and is beginning to make Bush look like a responsible person. The government was never meant to do the many things this person in the White House is trying to be and do, and unless it is stopped, it will be the downfall of our great country. I did’t vote for the man (he promised to much and was not inpowered to give what he promised). I have no intention of supporting his policies to break the spirit of the American people through his tax and spend programs and turn many groups into basic wards of the state.

  72. Comment by P McBride — April 3, 2009 @ 5:41 am

Dr Bear, I have read your comments but usually, less is more and most people will not read a long winded oration as a rule.

That said, I take exception with the following comment: “President Clinton handed the current Administration a surplus of trillions of dollars why was there no “tea parties” taking place then?”…………First of all, Clinton started out the same way this man has, but he didn’t work as quickly to put through programs which were not popular with most Americans and Newt Gingrich became the speaker of the house and republicans were put back in control of the congress and senate by the people of our country. It is this group that stopped Clinton’s massive spending plans, and this is also the reason there was a surplus. Believe me it wasn’t Clinton’s doing as he would and could have just as easily already bankrupted our country if he had not been stopped by the republicans. The problem with either party is that absolute power corrupts and does not work well for the American people as a whole. I might also say that 70% of the American people do not support this spending. Right now, when you look at polls that aren’t rigged, Mr Obama enjoys about a 49% approval rating which is a big comedown from where he was, and it is dropping fast and will continue to do so. I have a real problem with him using this I have a mandate based on the election back in November, because the mood of the country is changing and rapidly.

  73. Comment by P McBride — April 3, 2009 @ 8:57 am

A Simple Man, I disagree on who the most divisive person in this country is. It is the man who stands in front of huge groups of people and tries to incite them against the group of people who create the wealth, jobs and keep this country prosperous and tries to make those who have been successful feel guilty for being successful. It is the man who sets AIG up by fixing it so they will get bonuses (they were under contract to get) and then, using the created situation to start unrest for his own political benefit. I think it is the person who does not through words or actions stop mobs led by union organizers and Acorn people from roaming neighborhoods of AIG executives and harrassing and threatening them and their families including the children. It is the man who has tried through words and actions to start a class war and has divided our country almost to the point of revolution. It is the man who stands in front of dignataries from other countries and poor mouths his own country to make himself appear more important and significant. It is the man who allows his secretary of state to go into Mexico and poor mouth our country and act like we are at fault for their failure to control their drug lords. It is the man whose administration lies about where the guns that are being used in the Mexican drug wars are actually coming from to try to manipulate things so he can take away people’s rights to have guns. It is the man who has stated he does not want his country to be a world leader but instead to be just part of the pack of 20 other countries. It is the man who says to our small business owners, I need you to earn major amounts of money and hire more workers, so I can force your workers to unionize, and tax you to the point you will not be able to continue to exist or have a decent standard of living. It is the man who says he wants our economy to improve and then, through actions does everything he can to destroy it. It is the man who shows concern for people losing their retirements in the stock market, and then, everytime the least improvement happens in the market, gets up in front of the American people and drops another bomb that makes the market drop again. At least the 2 people asked to speak are consistent in their views and actions.

  74. Comment by A Simple Man — April 3, 2009 @ 8:46 pm

    P. McBride, first of all, thank you for replying in such a civil manner.
My statement simply was that I did not feel that either Rush or Ann would be a suitable speaker at something that was being touted as for all Americans regardless of party. As far as the points you make, counterpoints can be made but I’m the first to admit I don’t have the knowledge to do so. I don’t watch Fox, I don’t watch MSNBC. I don’t care about Hannity, Olberman or Maddow….. or Rush or Ann…. because in my opinion and mine alone, they have no clue what the average American goes through day after day yet they’ll spout off their opinion as if it’s irrefutable truth and a lot of people believe them. The sad thing is that honest, objective journalism no longer exists. I really don’t care who’s in the White House or who controls the House/Senate because my life doesn’t change no matter who’s there. I still have to get up every day and go to work so I can provide for my family. I do the best job that I can and I try to treat everyone with courtesy and respect. If there’s something I can do to help someone, I’m always willing. If you want to protest something, protest the career politicians. Going to Washington to represent the people you live with (supposedly) should be an honor and not a career. If the President is limited to 2 terms, they should be too. If you go to the party, I hope it is something constructive.

  75. Comment by P McBride — April 4, 2009 @ 1:26 pm

A simple man, on the grounds that you believe this should be for anyone who is against raising and imposing taxes without representation, I would agree that any speaker should only have a voice on those grounds or any other agreed upon agenda. The group I belong to may be circulating petitions to get the state to include a referendum for voters to vote in term limits for congressmen/woman and senators. I am not sure that isn’t a subject that anyone would consider to be one party or the other and given some of what is going on, it may be something many Americans are ready for. I believe petitions containing so many registered voters in each state have to sign such a thing to make the change in our constitution limiting the terms of both these groups.

I agree with you that you probably would have an opposing argument to what I said, and I could have made a far longer list of documentable deceitful actions, but this is about taxes and having our elected officials act for the people and not for their own political longevity and power. All the people in the country will be hurt in one way or another by this massive spending and all the people of our country should feel they can speak out together as a unit. Good luck on you protest!

I am all for the TEA PARTIES MOVEMENT that is going
on across our great nation. Our CONSTITUTION AND
BILL OF RIGHTS are in danger of being abolished
by Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Biden, and the rest of the
crooks currently in the house and senate. It’s all
about WE THE PEOPLE protecting our country from
being destroyed economically and politically by
Obama and his crew. It is absolutely mindboggling,
all the spending that Obama, congress, and the
senate have done in 3 short months, not to mention
most of the Bush, Reagan, and some of Clintons’ policies that he had undone. Obama has singlehandedly managed to quadruple the deficit that would take THE LIFETIMES OF OUR CHILDREN AND GREAT GRANDCHILDREN
    COMBINED TO PAY DOWN.

Tax Day, April 15th - The Nation’s TRUE April Fool’s Day!

Hey, I’d love to go protest these burdensome taxes, but I’ve got to be at WORK earning some wealth for the pigs in Washington to spread around.

  78. Comment by BillyS — April 6, 2009 @ 7:38 pm

Obama was voted in by ACORN, on a platform of lies and deceptions, and having been raised in cultures other than American, has no perception of what this Nation is, and who we, the American People, are at our core. He has proven himself a fool. He and the Obamaton followers will fail as We The People will prove to be cut from the same cloth as our forefathers and Founders. WE are not sheep, and these historical times will bear witness to that fact.

  79. Comment by BillyS — April 6, 2009 @ 7:46 pm

To the Obamatons Samuel Adam put it best: “If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, — go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!”

Trixie said “You all should be thrown out of the country for treason!
He IS the president whether you like it or not. Have some respect”

Trixie probably was probably part of the many “gatherings” that opposed Mr. Bush, but in her mind and others minds like hers, THAT is ok and not being treasonous. LOL

Remember Trixie, tis better to sip tea than to keep guzzling koolaid…

Chicago is a beautiful city where I was born and learned fast that the politics is as crooked as a witch’s stick. Obama took that and his cronies right to Washington.

2012 will come fast and hopefully will end this madness. To think he bowed down to Arab King as President of this great nation. Could he be a Muslim also????

Whatever Obama is misses the point. We are Americans who are about to lose our freedom and liberty if we are not careful. We understand that we can defeat this canser that has taken over our country by way of our congress. We need to stop allowing them to stay forever and put term limits on them. Most of congress no longer vote for us but for themselves!! Send them home and have them earn their liveing from their businesses, not our taxes. If we do not take back our country through the vote, than God help us ! You could have another revolution!! In any case we the people will pervail under any condition, but will never give up our freedom and liberty.LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD trying!!!!

I think Obama is the most frightening person in our government in my lifetime…and I am a Depression kid..
He is out to totally destroy the USA in as short a time as possible…I wish he could be impeached on that alone…What gall to go to Europe and trash America and Americans as he did…I have my doublts that he is an American…One more thing…He didn’t bow to Queen Elizabeth..( fine…Americans bow to no one…) but to give the Saudi King such an elaborate big ass bow…Well..what does that tell you ?? And the Democrats…well…they are like sheep..they act like they have no mind of their own and go along with anything and everything he wants…Well…his destruction of our country will include them when he has no longer any use of them…; also I hope they are all voted out of office when they time for reelection comes up..We will never forget….I wouldn’t vote for a Democrat …EVER …No..I did not vote for him ; No way..I am so sorry he was elected….God help us….God Save the USA…..

Isn’t it a little strange to protest at a time when Wall Street’s picking up speed?

What fantasy world are you living in?

Nice headline: “1000 others to protest”. You know there will be a lot more than that. No wonder this “newspaper” is going bankrupt.

  90. Comment by Sue in Boston — April 10, 2009 @ 3:01 pm

I will be at the Tax Day Tea Party 2009 in Boston. We have come full circle since 1773. It’s not about Republicans, or Democrats, or liberals or conservatives. It’s about our Constitution. If you don’t understand that, try reading it. The very least our politicians can do is read a bill before signing it. The best they can do is get out of our way and let the American People do what they do best. “Ask not what your Country can do for you; ask what you can do for your Country.” Educate yourself, get involved, defend our Constitution. Since 1789 when ratified it has protected the people of this great country. Now we have to stand up and protect it.

  91. Comment by mark — April 11, 2009 @ 9:18 am

I think it time to let the banks and every other business that needs money fail. We need to rid the american people of all taxes. The income, school, property. Then shut the goverment down. And let the fit survie and the week leave us.When we founded this country we had no need of goverment and live well and should return to those ways.Get rid of the idea of protecting the world and bring home all the troops for sel defense. And deported all who were not born in contintal states. get rid of all the outlying colonies

Okay folks here’s my 2$ worth. All of the conservatives want to be rid of the Liberals.Sorry I don’t think it’s gonna happen. With BamBam’s civilian security force that is coming and organizations like ACORN and the UHURU movement and various off shoots voter fraud will be more prevalent the next election. The Liberls will recind the 22nd amendment and we’ll have BamBam and Michlele-my-belle for eva’.You think life sucks now just wait.

The Crisis was created by the Dems. way back to Obama using Acorn to force banks to lend to unqualified applicants, knowing fully well that they would come due during Bush so they could blame him. Now we have bailed out every Democratic special interest group that gave to their campaign. The first stimulous was drafted by our new President to repay him 100billion campaign contributers. Nothing has been done for the people of America. All the spending was to reassure the next elections. And the BOW to Arabian King…on video you see a prince that funded Obama’s College and paid for him by giving to the college to make him head of the law board…this is all sick and wrong….God help us!!!

Article above: “Isn’t it a little strange to protest at a time when Wall Street’s picking up speed?”

Hello? The stock market was 11,500 when it became clear that Barack was the front runner. Since then it dove to 6,500 and now back barely over 8,000 and you’re calling this ‘picking up speed?’ Do you think we’re stupid? How arrogant do you have to be to add and ask such a comment when people’s properties have sunk, their 401ks have taken a nose dive and their government is spending trillions on top of the trillions we’re already in debt?

The Democrats have controlled the US House for 79% of the past 76 years and the Senate 72% of the time. The Rs don’t have a recently great record on this either - but the Ds have a much, much worse record. The Democrat party is a fiscal nightmare. Throw out the irresponsible Ds and Rs - if necessary we’ll start a 3rd party to do so.

Mr. Bear: “President Clinton handed the current Administration a surplus of trillions of dollars why was there no “tea parties” taking place then?”

You would think that for one touting a scholarly approach, that you’d get your basic facts correct? It’s quite simple to check on what the national debt was whichever year you choose to reference. Clinton started his journey with a national debt at $4.174 Trillion and ended it with the debt at $5.72 Trillion, and so your comment that he handed Bush a surplus of trillions of dollars is LUDICROUS. Second point on that matter, which was brought up by others above. The Clintons (both of them as you recall) had much more ambitious spending plans that were only held in check by the Contract with America - the Republican/fiscally responsible backlash against unrestrained tax and spend. Now Bush did not much better and perhaps worse - but the final two years of Bush saw Ds in charge of the entire Congress. Bush’s dilemma, as that of any war time president - was the external shock of 9/11.

We are still in a moderate war status, very much still engaged in a war against terrorism (have we forgotten the murdered?) That said, we do not have the luxury to run deficit spending like Obama wants to do for the next 8 years (HA!) It is time to reign in this spending NOW.

That Mr. Bear, is what these tax parties are all about. Let’s deal with all the facts. Thank you!

Our home of 38 years, retirement farm/ income was deliberately flooded with Senator Bob Graham and South Florida Water Management’s “Iteration 7 Study” now called “The Study” which consists of adding water through certain private farm land, homes to study the natural flow of water”DURING STORM CONDITIONS” as stated in study! When they knew a storm was coming, the levees to our south would be closed and millions of gallons of water would be added to the area destroying everything including the runoff into the gulf where the coral rock now has a land fungus, aspergillis called Black Band Disease.
The assault on our legal non wetland home was the beginning of government under environmental issues, TAKING private land! Over a million acreas here in Florida alone! The taken land’s SUR, several use rights, were sold to developers who paid the local counties with these for permits to build “HIGH DENSITY PROJECTS” one homes wall the yard of another. The counties made more taxes per lot and the developers over build with their credit line. Every plot of land was built here in Miami! People were going crazy buying into these to rent. All this at the expense of the private land owner, farms. Bob Graham did treaties with South and Central America to bring inn our produce once grown here! Though excess sugar we had, they still had to buy it from Mexico… Thank YOu Bob Graham! FIU and every agency and university were donated millions of dollars to back up the everglades reserch! A washington pipeline of money from 8 Billion to 12 Billion aside from SFWMD annual budget of over 800 million… and counting… The issue is not contamination or polution.. it was a joke among the truthful scientist at FIU! who were later assaulted and threatened for telling the truth.. HIgh phospurous levels was the only thing found near Turkey Point Power Plant! Corruption from the local Universities, to our Senators who many are on the Boards of the MIning companies…THEY TOOK MY HOME FOR MINING! NOW LIME ROCK FOR CEMENT DESTROYING THE EVERGLADES. GO DOWN s.w. 168 StREET TO CHEEKEKA STATE PARK ON 137 AVE, Where road ends and rangers are living on taken Mansions of owners. It all started with us and we were alone fighting Goliath. We still have to pay with our disability checks high taxes on less property which they took our homestead of 38 years and would not recognize our taking home for taxes. from 1,200 to 5,800 and with medicals bills from heart transplant and many other medical issues. We worked very hard all of our lives to have The American Dream for our family, they had other plans for their profit… PANTISM the worship of nature that one thing affects another will control all of our lives for profit. Environmentalist make money on taking land. If a government will not buy it they will buy it and sell it back. Insight Magazine did an article with names, dates and all interest groups on this conspiracy for our land. The issue was back in 98. They got in trouble for it with Governor Bush at the time. He too was friends, lets say with the Cordinas, one fo the top develpers here in Miami. My kids were afraid for me. I was just defending my home.
    May all know our pain!
