Tennis’ beautiful people descend on SoFla

Some of the ladies didn’t look too comfortable in their nightclub outfits, but most tennis superstars playing in the Sony Ericsson Open on Key Biscayne made it to the red carpet of the tournament’s kickoff party Wednesday night at the Fontainebleau Resort in Miami Beach.

Palm Beach Gardens sisters Venus and Serena Williams (check out Serena’s outfit by clicking below), Russian beauty Maria Sharapova (right), Rafael Nadal and James Blake were in the tennis clique. Hip-hop superstar Wyclef Jean was with the music biz heroes. And former L.A. Lakers star Rick Fox along with Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chad Johnson formed a jock posse.
