It’s getting crowded in Tim Mahoney’s divorce
And you thought the divorce of former U.S. Congressman Tim Mahoney was bad so far, with payoffs to a former mistress and the suspension of another squeeze from her government job?

Man, you ain’t seen nothing yet!
The long-suffering, soon-to-be-ex-wife of the scandal-prone Mahoney, Terry, has called on eight people to be deposed in mid-April.
Court papers show they include: Mistress No. 1, former Mahoney aide Tricia Allen, the one he agreed to pay a total of $227,000 to shut her up about their affair; Mistress No. 2, Martin County engineering department employee Kim Roden, whom he took on skiing vacations in the Canadian Rockies; a former Tim Mahoney employee, Alejandro Munoz; Leonard Sokolow, a Broward County lawyer and accountant who was one of Tim Mahoney’s business partners in vFinance, a venture capital company; West Palm Beach lawyer Jack Goldberger, who once repped billionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and worked on Mahoney’s secret deal with Allen; Gary Isaacs, another local lawyer who represented Mahoney as the sex scandal broke last year; and forensic accountant Michael Kridel. Tim Mahoney, too, will be grilled.
Terry Mahoney’s barrister didn’t return calls to discuss her strategy. But it’s clear Terry’s camp is out to prove that the disgraced Democrat – who admitted to several affairs as he tried to get reelected, then lost to Republican Tom Rooney – squandered marital cash on galpals.
Acting as Page2Live’s “expert witness,” West Palm divorce law guru Jeff Fisher said the more money millionaire Mahoney spent on paramours, the more will find its way to his homemaker wife when the divorce is finalized.
“Fifty cents to the dollar spent on a mistress could go to his wife if he paid out of his own pocket,” said Fisher, who isn’t handling the case. “And that includes the ($227,000) payoff. As for the experts (Ridel and Sokolow), the wife’s lawyer wants to track down Mahoney’s money.”
All witnesses have been scheduled to be deposed next week.

But did anyone notice that Ted Stevens conviction was overturned because of prosecutorial misconduct? I didn’t think so. I hope Stevens sues the DOJ for this facist bull. On that note, I hope Mahoney is left penniless.
The attorneys are going to win. Attorneys for both sides get paid and both husband and wife are less all of that money. Read Alec Baldwin’s book about divorce. It talks about how the attorneys get and keep the parties in “the pit” so they can bill and bill and bill. Creating conflict increases fees.
Money she gives those attorneys is less she will have. Too bad she hasn’t figured that out.
Hopefully he will find somebody who makes him happy!!He sounds like a broken man.I wish the best for both of them.
Go Terry! Go Terry! Work it Terry! Go Terry!

It sounds like they are dickering over 50% of the $227,000. In the state of FL, each party gets half, so she much want half of the $227k. Based on the # of motions, etc. on the docket, between the 2 attorneys they’ve billed probably at least $50k each. So who wins? The attorneys. These 2 people would do better economically for both of them settling and moving on. The attorneys initiate the conflict to generate additional fees. Alex Baldwin’s book is excellent about how the attorneys keep the 2 parties ‘in the pit’ so the billing and continue.
She could negotiate for addl $s from him just saying give me an extra $100k rather than giving it to our attorneys. If Tim Mahoney is smart he’ll say where do I sign and get it overwith.
