Florida Panthers big takes one for the team

A hunky Boca Raton millionaire bachelor is the star of an episode of the popular Millionaire Matchmaker series scheduled to air on cable’s Bravo next week.
Uri Man, a v.p. for development with the parent company of the NHL’s Florida Panthers, was set up earlier this year with a Los Angeles woman by show host Patti Stanger.
Man, who lives on the Intracoastal community of Boca Quay, and his date actually have remained friends after a short-lived real-life romance.
Still, no love match.
“I’m looking to settle down,” says Man, a developer by trade and competitive salsa dancer. “I’m 34 and I’ve been concentrating on my work. My parents always tell me I need a matchmaker so I contacted the show.
OK. That’s the official line.
So, why really did he do it?
For the Panthers! The exposure-challenged franchise traditionally has been among the league’s weakest both on the ice and at the box office.
“It was free promo for the Panthers,” Man says. “I made sure to keep telling them that my date should be a hockey fan. But I didn’t really expect to find undying love. I actually dated the woman they set me up with for a month, but this long distance thing made it difficult.”

The show, one of Bravo’s highest rated, follows millionaire bachelors on dates with a woman culled out of 18 to 20 with the help of host Stanger, a professional dating service owner who founded an outfit for rich men in need of cuddling, The Millionaires’ Club.
Man says he had to sign an affidavit saying he’s rich in order to be on the show.
“Obviously, I’m worth much less now than I was last year,” he said.
Still, Man is holding his viewing party when the episode airs for the first time at 10 p.m. April 23, at the chi-chi Delray tapas joint Il Bacio.

I love the show, live in Delray and can’t wait to goto Il Bacio for the viewing. Is it the photo that makes him look short? Standing next to Patti he looks short. That could explain his shortfalls. Boca Quay isn’t high end luxury either so to speak. Regardless, I can’t wait to meet and greet him This coming week. He’s hot either way!
He’s not short! It’s not a shortfall. It may be the picture. Living anywhere on the water in Boca Raton is luxurious if we put the world around us into perspective. Uri has been one of my best friends for 20 years and I am so proud to see him living life, experiencing, and continuing to grow and he’s never afraid to take chances! I wish I could be there to see him shine on April 23rd! He is Mr. Perfect!

I saw this show and almost fell out of the chair when Patti described what he was looking for! She described me like no other. I was watching it with a friend and we were both in shock! I am 5Ft, Jewish, very religous, into Real Estate big time, and has always been told I look like a Jewish Princess. I absolutley would love to meet him! I would move to Boca in a second. I also love to dance! I contacted Patti through customer service, maybe it’s not too late? He would love me! It’s not just my view, everyone else has said it too! When i saw Uri, i though that was incredible how a perfect match we could be…i always wanted to marry a Man from Israel. I love to dance salsa, since i’m from Peru, always i have done that and even i have been taking some clases. I love hockey and i’m sure that if we meet, we will never be apart. The best thing! i live in Coral Springs, i am not in real state but i love my job as a pre-school teacher. My energie comes from children and that is another reason why i like him so much…he seems to be very sweet.

Watched the show and rerun. He is cute but that does not change the fact that he is a sleazebag. He used the show and girl to promote his business. You do not play with people’s emotions for selfish gain…. Karma is a B**ch
