The patriarch of one of the most dysfunctional famous families in the country has $1.5 million to burn, and he’s looking for a waterfront property here.
Michael Lohan, the oft-troubled dad of oft-troubled actress Lindsay Lohan, could soon settle down with his much, much younger soon-to-be-wife in the Hypoluxo-Boynton area, he said Sunday.

His lady love is Long Island insurance agent Erin Muller, 25. She’s three years older than Lindsay and 24 younger than Michael. And she was along on the home-hunting trip this past weekend.

Why do they want to move? New Yorker Lohan tells local journalist Patricia Towle he wants to be closer to the company he just signed on to represent. It’s Smoking Everywhere, the Boca-based manufacturer of a new “electronic,” water-vapor non-flammable cigarette that can be smoked anywhere.
Lohan is no stranger to the area. He once lived with Lindsay and his then-wife, stage mom Dina, in North Palm Beach. They moved after Michael, then a stock broker, went to the Big House to serve time for fraud.
Sipping an Arnold Palmer (ice tea and lemonade since Lohan, like his famous daughter, is in AA), Lohan said he was on his way to L.A. because he received a cry for help from Lindsay. The star of Mean Girls and Herbie Fully Loaded just broke up with her galpal, d.j. Samantha Ronson.
“Linds called me the night of her breakup with Samantha and she was in a lot of pain and sobbing over the phone,” Lohan said at the terrace of Nick & Johnnie’s in Palm Beach. “It was heart-wrenching. She asked me to come out and help her through this.”

The bride-to-be looks younger than Lindsay - I don’t think I’d prostitute myself to this guy just for my 15 minutes of fame or a portion of his 1.5 million dollar house - I’m sure they have SOOO much in common - low IQ’s for instance…maybe he loves it when she calls him Dad….
