West Palm Beach liberal radio screamer Randi Rhodes has found herself a new job.
And you won’t believe where!
In the house that Rush Limbaugh built, that’s where!
The raspy-voiced Rhodes just signed on with the Premiere Radio Networks, home of the Hard Right’s Dr. Laura, Glenn Beck, Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.
Strange bedfellows? You bet. Ratings for Rhodes’ lefty rantings actually will benefit from the huge numbers that Palm Beach’s Limbaugh garners. She signs on for her three-hour show immediately as Limbaugh signs off, at 3 p.m. on work days. She starts May 11.
Is the D.C. chatter about bringing back the Fairness Doctrine and truly balanced programs having Premiere honchos quake in their boots?

“Everyone should think about the Fairness Doctrine,” said Rhodes’ lawyer, Robert Gaulin. “But I don’t have any reason to believe after these negotiations that the Fairness Doctrine was the impetus in Randi getting this job. Premiere is dedicated to putting on the best people, and Randi has a huge following.”
Rhodes, a fixture at the local WJNO-AM 1290 through the 1980s and 1990s, went to the liberal money-strapped Air America in New York City in 2004. But after several incidents, including a strange middle-of-the-night alleged mugging in Manhattan and her calling the then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton a “whore,” she landed at the little-known radio syndicate Nova M. A contract dispute caused her to quit earlier this year.
Premiere opens up unexplored horizons for Rhodes, including the giant West Coast stations like KTLK in Los Angeles.
While Rhodes broadcast from her old studio at JNO while her show was syndicated by Nova M, she’ll now be broadcasting from a studio in the outskirts of Washington, D.C.
“She’s not rejecting West Palm Beach by any stretch,” said Gaulin from his New York City office. “It’s just that she’s made many friends and connections in D.C. over the years. With the Democrats in power, it’ll be a friendly, happening place for her.”
Gaulin didn’t comment on Rhodes’ contract.
Said Rhodes in a prepared statement: “Right now, America needs a voice that reflects its hopes and concerns!”
Locally, it’s still unclear which station will run Rhodes’ show. WJNO would the natural venue, says local Clear Channel boss Dave Denver, but airing Rhodes live in drive time means that Fox commentator Hannity would be bumped to a less valuable slot.
“We’re trying to satisfy everybody because we’re all a family here,” Denver said, adding that either show could end up on another local Clear Channel station. “The goal is to run both shows live.”

Why is a big deal to move Hannity? He wasn’t there until Randy Rhodes had her contract dispute and more importantly you can pick him on 610 and every other AM station between Miami and Orlando. Hannity at 3 is like the state of the union, it’s everywhere you turn.
If Randi is not on wjno there really is no reason to listen to wjno is there …since shes been gone i have not tuned in to wjno at all i mean why should I ? all the right wing shows are the same and all they want to do is divide the people , and that is just old at this point
Randi is a no talent hack . she does nothing but take the opposing side to Rush. If You listen to both it is all she does . No independent thought happening there at all.And the point of an :un”fairness doctrine is an obsurdity. Seeing who the socialist liberals have 99% of the media expousing thier beliefs.(ie: cbs ,nbc cnn ,msnbc, etc.)this is just a way to silence conservative talk by forcing carriers of such broadcasts to put an opposing view that they do not want. even sorose’s air america was a bust due to they hear such ramble at every avenue .people can only listen to so much BULL. then they need the truth .CONSERVATIIVE RADIO

Fortunately there are fine sports radio shows that we can all switch our dials to instead of listening to this whining, complaining liberal who is “in the tank” for Obama, as is the Palm Beach Post. No wonder that newspaper circulation is down, with the exception of the Wall Street Journal, which has seen a circulation increase.

The “people” paying for Randi’s lush life are ultimately her listener, the person who tunes in to her “show”, nod their head in agreement, and think that Randi is just like them.

I used to think she was smart and I usually learned something new when I listened. Either I’ve gotten a lot smarter or she has gotten a lot dumber ’cause it’s been a while since I heard anything worth hearing come out of her mouth. Super elites own the shares of the FED and other central banks. Each rinting press fiat dollar equals a $2.20 indebtedness to the FED, a private for profit corporation listed in the white pages. Bankers have brought one nation after another under their shylockery by taking over the currency and controlling its volume, which is the sole source of the booms and busts. The inflation is always cover too for the costs of the always profitable “emergencies” of their own creation - conveniently getting the very solution the emergency was created to attain - like the Morgan created panic of 1907, to goad Congress to put up another central banking cabal such as Jackson so patriotically killed - the first and last Pres to pay off the national debt.
Baby’s first breath is now met with an indebtedness to the FED of at least $70,000. Which will compound at the FED’s 6% interest for using our own GD money. This way bankers and their emplaced puppets can spend the new money first at full value before it trickles through the economy bidding up prices for the same goods. More dollars worth less make goods appear to have risen in price. This is the pure definition of inflation - hundreds of country’s tried this and they ALL failed as the bankers loot the world via indebtedness.
Forget the super-state’s cheerleaders from either side. Their smarmy blend of campaign promises unkept from either side, failure to uphold a formerly constitutionally limited govt, all so they few can live like kings and queen parasites, leaving we many hosts alive enough to sustain THEM in the style they’re never quite satified with.
Get a clue clods - you’re all financing your own freedom’s demise - freedom FROM govt was America’s whole reason for being not never ending wars and half a population that pays no taxes, while the super rich like Gore pay 12% total on millions.

Lets get govt back to doing its sole job of protecting OUR rights and property on an EQUAL basis for a CHANGE, abolish the FED, get our real money back and the counterfeiting shylocks can hit the bricks instead of we who they all feed off while producing nothing we couldn’t buy elsewhere cheaper and better, like education for starters - the lying govt apologists most of them.

We welcome Randi back! I look forward to her play by play of all the loser republicans jumping their sinking ship. In doesn’t matter if you agree or disagree with her politics, Randi Rhodes is an extroardinary talent. Her comedy is crisp, targeted and brilliantly written. She also brings a refreshing balance to the overly-saturated conservative talk-radio universe. What many people fail to realize is that her in-studio personna is just part of the “ACT”. The fact that 50% of the audience hates her guts, is what the “SHOW” is about. Having worked with her for almost 20 years, I have never found Randi to be anything less than a warm, kind-hearted, delightful person.
Give Dave Denver credit for a beautiful job at defending Sean Hannity…but what else would you expect a Clear Channel “Corporate-Clone” to do? In the local ratings race, Randi Rhodes blows the doors off Hannity.
Since ratings equal MONEY…and MONEY is the ONLY thing that matters to Clear Channel, the end result is quite predictable. Welcom Back Randi!
Smart move for JNO. I mean how else can you substancially reduce tax revenue for Obama’s social spending by cutting your profits? The advertising revenue should plummet, so take that Obama… you are getting less money for Acorn.

Randi was very funny years ago, but for many years she has thrown out nothing but hateful crap against conseratives and anyone she doesn’t agree with. When she is losing an arguement she screams and cuts the caller off, I’ll be cutting off WJNO at 3 PM.

I listened to her on a couple of occasions - and it’s unbelievable that anyone would actually say she has talent. I think people listen to her because she is so bad and it’s almost funny. She just makes stuff up and peppers her information with facts she steals from other sources. But you have to give her credit. She gets ratings in spite of her low intellectual ability. Then again, so does Rush Limbaugh. Randy needs to go back to being a DJ, it’s much more her speed.
