Greg Norman and Chris Evert moving north?
It’s back to the future for links Leviathan Greg Norman.
Part-time vintner and developer Norman and his wife Chris Evert, the tennis legend, have found a new love nest.

Chris Evert and Greg Norman
And it’s the same love nest that Norman shared with the wife he divorced in 2007 when he took up with Evert.
Boca Raton’s coosome twosome – they’ve been living in the Boca home that Evert once owned with her ex, former Olympic skier Andy Mill – is moving to Norman’s Jupiter Island home, according to several sources close to the couple.
The palatial Martin County home, a 9-bedroomer just one hole away from fellow golfer Tiger Wood’s new digs, has been on the market for nearly two years. Sale price for the 8-acres beach-to-Intracoastal estate now stands at $40 million, from $65 million originally.
But with no buyer in sight, Norman and his bride of one year are about to have the home, dubbed Tranquility, gutted and rebuilt.
There’s also a plan to redo the basketball court into, you guessed it, a tennis court.
For the poll, and more details, look below
Norman and his first wife, Laura Andrassy, originally moved into the home in 1993 and watched their two adult children grow up there. Norman left the home to Andrassy when he walked out on her in late 2005. Andrassy moved to Palm Beach, and the house has been vacant for more than a year. At one point, the home became the Normans’ battlefield, with Laura being accused of throwing out Norman’s golf mementoes and preventing his access inside.
“I don’t know why she would agree to settle down in another woman’s home,” one of the sources said about Evert. “But hey, to each her own.”
Jupiter Island building official Jeff Newell said no construction permit has been filed for that address. But Norman recently signed a power-of-attorney affidavit giving his full-time lawyer, Jack Schneider, the power to make decisions for “construction” at the South Beach Road mansion, according to Martin County court records.
Schneider claims it is for minor work to make the home more appealing for buyers.
He declined to comment further and wouldn’t make Norman available.
The sources, meanwhile, begged to differ that the construction will be just for the sale, with one saying Norman already has the blue prints for a major renovation of the plantation-style home. Evert, the primary caretaker of hers and Mill’s three boys, has been telling friends that the children will continue to attend Boca’s fancy St. Andrews private school even after they move, later this year. Her staff didn’t return calls for comment.
Already, the Great White Shark put up for sale the Boca home he first moved into after he separated from his wife of 25 years. That crib, in the chichi Le Lac development, is being unloaded for $8 million.
Norman and Evert each filed for divorce from their respective spouses within weeks of one another in 2005. While Evert’s divorce stayed under the radar and was resolved quickly, the Normans’ became one of the most vitriolic in the collective memory of Stuart courthouse employees.
Norman gave Andrassy more than $103 million in cash, stocks and properties to finalize the split.
And once he moves back to Jupiter Island, he may have to give the ex half the value of the home.
“It’s fair to think that there would be financial implications if Mr. Norman moves back in Jupiter Island,” said Jack Scarola, Andrassy’s West Palm Beach lawyer.

Could anyone tell me what Gregs wife did to deserve that kind of payday? It is a crime to see such injustice against such a gentleman like Greg.Good luck to you and Chris.
These multi-millionaires are sooo out of touch with the rest of us . . . I couldn’t pay the taxes on any of his properties never mind imagine what it must be like to live in one of them. People watch the comings and goings of these celebs like they do a car crash on the highway - sheer diversion and sometimes morbid interest in other people’s lives. A worker making $50K a year probably pays more in percentage of income to his church or even when tipping … these super rich never pay their fair share in life.
Feel sorry for Evert’s boys. Chris has been throw the men.
Who cares?
Barf.
How much do they pay a publicist to rub their stuff in everyone else’s faces?
What did Greg Norman ever see in Chris Evert? I hope he has a pre-nup.
Heck, he’s already acted as shameful as he ever could. A house is nothing compared to cheating.
Of course Greg Norman and Chris Everett have the hutzpah to move back into the “original matrimonial house.” Neither Greg nor Chris have any true self awareness, so they don’t see how any of their decisions affect anyone but their OH SO IMPORTANT SELVES. Their children and exes could not even make them grow a conscience. It will be entertaining in the coming year/s to watch their egos create the inevitable self implosion.
P.S. Lawrence: What the ex Mrs. Norman did was raise their children, keep normalcy in their lives as much as possible and cater to the NOT SO gentlemanly Greg. She got the money because THAT IS THE LAW.
Did anyone see that the comment section discussing The Sheriff’s Office was closed almost immediately….does anyone think it looks like The Boss is a bit THIN SKINNED!
Too many attorneys in this world thinking they can control or corrupt everything in PB County.
Why is Kritcher working at PBSO?
Did he really spenc $480 complaining to the PB POST? What a yo yo.
BTW. I thought public figures were pretty much fair game in the court of public opinion. If you cannot take the heat…don’t run for the office.
But $480 of Taxpayer Money paid to intimidate a gossip columnist? Craziness, in my humble opinion.
He’s upset that a citizen complained to his home address?
That makes no sense.
Almost every citizen’s home address is public record one way or another.
We need better leadership accross the board in PB County.
Its sad.
scarface The Law is one sided and should be changed or one day no one will marry another because of the financial risk. Just because she help raise the children does not make her worth that pay. Get real.
Bob-
You’re an idiot. Could you be anymore envious? If got off your tuft and worked your golf swing for 12 hours a day for a LIFETIME maybe you’d have some major winnings and sponsorship money too. But you didn’t. You prolly struggled through college, got your degree at FSU and were content in life with your 50k a year job. That was the life YOU chose for yourself. Don’t fault Norman for being better than you. He pays more in taxes than you’ll make in a lifetime. Without his tax base, you don’t have roads, you don’t have schools for your kids….these uber-successful people shouldn’t be chastised by the have-nots because…you have not. Its nobody’s fault but your own. Dbag.
Thank you Ben. You deserve an award for that post.
Ben, you are so right! You nailed it. Took the woeds out of my mouth to that d.b. have a great night.
Their money and possessions are nothing to envy. The children ignored in order to please themselves–they are the ones who pay the price. Two selfish egomaniacs. Asking your children to attend the wedding of two people who deceived the other parent is revolting. Yyyyuuuukkkk!
Hey Lawrence,
Looks like they both, got what they deserved, each other.
