Stunning development in the London murder trial of Palm Beach businessman Thanos Papalexis!
An area porn star and $700-an-hour escort is set to become the star witness after a prosecutor claimed that Papalexis confessed the murder to her during pillow talk at the Four Seasons Palm Beach.

Papalexis, 36, a debonair Greek immigrant who weaseled his way into Palm Beach society over the past five years, is accused of the 2000 murder of an eccentric elderly man who refused to leave a London building that Papalexis bought to redevelop.
Papalexis, who endeared himself with some on The Island with his invitations to sex parties at his mansion, was nabbed last November by U.S. Marshals acting on a warrant from The Crown.
The trial started last week at the famous Old Bailey, and the focus is now on Rebecca DeFalco, 41, an escort with clients in Palm Beach and Miami who starred in XXX flicks. Under the stage name Paris, she had prominent roles in Anal Audition 8 and Perverted Stories 14.
Public records show she had a West Palm Beach address but recently moved to a condo along the fancy Brickell Avenue in downtown Miami.
She couldn’t be reached for comment. Her friend, Fort Lauderdale’s Garin Patrick, didn’t return calls. Patrick’s a little-used former Miami Dolphins center.
DeFalco, meanwhile, had a three-month relationship with Papalexis in 2004, prosecutor Jonathan Laidlaw told the British jury Wednesday.

According to the British Press Association, Laidlaw said:
“Miss DeFalco was a prostitute working as a ‘escort’ in the Miami Beach area. The defendant (Papalexis) answered an advertisement and they arranged to meet for sex in a hotel in Palm Beach.
“The confession was made at the end of May 2004 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Palm Beach. Papalexis was supposed to stay the week at the hotel but his visit was cut short by business commitments elsewhere, this gave rise to arguments and to Papalexis becoming angry and kicking at things in the room.
“At that point Miss DeFalco asked him, ‘Have you ever killed anybody? She asked because of the work the defendant claimed to do and did not expect an answer. Quite unexpectedly Papalexis walked over to her and said, ‘Yes, I have’. He said it was an innocent man, a ‘nobody’ who was watching a building. The defendant explained that the murder had something to do with a building and the man who had been killed was in the way and he had to go”.
DeFalco is being flown to London to testify, along with other area residents.
