A John King-led crew of the Left-leaning CNN caused quite a stir on the beachside boardwalk in Vero Beach Wednesday.

King

King

King, the anchor of State of the Union Sunday mornings, was interviewing a local family practitioner about health care when mostly elderly passersby and joggers started gathering nearby.

One bystander started a conversation on how CNN’s shillin’ for Prez Barack Obama. But even in this tiny GOP stronghold 90 minutes north of West Palm Beach, there were dissenting voices. And they got so loud that King’s well-meaning producer asked everyone to cool it so that King could continue the interview.

“Hey, do you guys have a permit to be here,” one of the argumentative bystanders then asked the CNN crew. “We don’t have to be quiet. My taxes paid of this boardwalk. Who are you people?”

The situation was quickly defused when King, who looks better in person, flashed one of his Pepsodent smiles.

“Hey, they were arguing on how Obama’s ending Capitalism,” King told Page2Live. “I enjoyed it. We’ve been driving through Central Florida for a health care segment and we figured we’d head to Vero Beach. We were looking into how family doctors often send patients to specialists, making health care more expensive.”

King’s handy work is scheduled to air on State of the Union this Sunday, starting at 9 a.m.

Is CNN a shill for Obama?

[...] The CNN Express must have gotten off the wrong exit on Florida’s Turnpike Wednesday. The bus, with State of the Union anchor Jon King, ended up in beachside Vero Beach. And King and his crew got an earful from passersby who said CNN is a shill for Pres. Barack Obama For more, click here. [...]

During the 2008 election I realized that journalism as I know it (I’m a J-school grad) is TOAST. Because it was no longer possible to trust that what I was seeing and hearing was the truth,I have deleted CNN from my television’s channel memory, along with ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC and CNBC.

The media has lost the trust of America. Who can trust them now? I was shocked at this last election coverage. They promote thier agenda not the truth.

I found this item as I searched the Internet looking for news items of another event. I would have expected this to be a big local news item, however there was no mention of it in the local newspaper.

I do agree that CNN is very defintetly a “left leaning” news agency that does have a very liberal agenda that is obvious in much that it does. This form of a news agency is detrimental to the purpose of informing the American public of news events.

I’ve noticed that >>John<< did not deleted FOX NEWS from his tv’s channel memory. What a discerning man! Sniffed out the only “fair and balanced” network on the tube. I say sniffed out because FOX NEWS does emit a certain…odor.

CNN shill for Obama? Give me a break. John King was one of the biggest McCain Fan Boys out there. He was a bigger cheerleader for McCain than FOX!

The founding fathers provided the press with the first amendment so they could be the watch dog of the three branches of government. The FF’s did so to protect the press so it could report to the people, the true happenings occuring within the government. To fulfill it’s role, the press had to remaine totally unbiased so we could make decisions accordingly. Unfortunatly, way too much of the press is no longer unbiased and is untrustworthy. This started before the last election but became evident then and continues now. I have no problem with news pundents making their biased rants, but actual “reporters”, should be reporting facts, not spouting the political leanings of the network. (which are mostly liberal). Yes, the press was in love with Obama during the election and continues to be.

These left vs. right polls are always freeped by right wingers. They’re so predictable.

John King blows but so do you Josie Lambiet.

Fox news represents the Ben Franklin school. Tell the facts and let them speak. The news media has always used smoke screens to cover the points they disagree with and do their best not to cover opposing facts. The way to influence events is to not cover uncomfortable facts. Sensationalize the side they favor and exploit small flaws or descrepancies to discredit the other politcal side.Fortunatly we now have the internet and alternative sources. If those you think they can still manuever and control the news and thyink they can take radio and internet freedom away from us they are wrong. I expect those who disagree with this to ask who is they, to them I say look in the mirror.

Hey my friend, stop by my blog above on leftist bias and treason over the last 200 years. Now how can a media outlet be even mentioned in the same breath with say, Alger Hiss? Well, when CNN, MSNBC and other leftist outlets like Kos, Moveon lie, dis and advocate nationalization , an end to capitalism, a lessening of our military exposure in the ME and other areas where jihadists roam, it seems to be , as John Stormer wrote over 50 years ago, None Dare Call it Treason. And when seeing the numbers for CNN, King’s smile or not, and MSNBC with Keith the Hater, all can understand why viewership is declining. At age 70, I can remember all the lefties from the 1940’s on, including the NYTimes,WAPO et al, so this CNN hack is not very different from Walter Durranty or ole Walter from years past.

are you guys serious? You point out how leftist and biased CNN and MSNBC are, but defend FOX? Come on, they are the MOST BIASED media outlet on the air. So, it is only fair and balanced if it is spun in a right wing direction. Please, you look in the mirror.
