Professional autograph hounds hound Burt Reynolds outside the Maltz Theatre in Jupiter Sunday night with photos from Deliverance. Reynolds, 73, then had to be helped into his waiting black sedan by two people. “He looked a little out of it,” a spywitness said. Reynolds, the veteran of such classics as Smokey and the Bandit and The Longest Yard, attended a fundraiser for the cancer-stricken Wellington filmmaker Aaron Wells.

Burt looks like Bernie from the “Weekend at Bernie’s” movie with the two guys hauling him around.

He just had back surgery. In a LOT of pain

Remember Burt has a history of abusing Pain Killers for his back and he recently lost a close friend Dom Deluise.

As far as his dress goes, he has never been known as a spiffy dresser.

Cut the guy some slack…..Dom’s gone, Farrah’s fading. These people ruled the pop cultural world in the late 70s. They seem so vibrant and alive on film, in their Trans Ams and bikinis….proof that time catches up to all of us. And a reminder to live life to the fullest while you can.

Burt will always have the star power.

Buddy———–haven’t seen or talked with you since the old “Palm Beach County Paint Gang” in the Summer of 1954. Was fun double dating and visiting each others homes during that era and I hope I still look as great as you still do. Moved back to Fl after 35 years in Ca and married my (Seacrest ) high school sweetheart. Get in touch if you care to. Remember our boss Mack (You Ring a Bell)? Burt is finally letting himself show his age a bit. The many facelifts he’s had didn’t do him nor his career any favors, as he looked so artificial. Directors wouldn’t hire him for good age appropriate roles and he was fooling no one with the pulled tight face, so wasn’t hired to play younger guys.

Putting that aside, I’ve always enjoyed his work and would love to see him on screen again, in the right role, not just doing a parody.

Burt Reynolds never forgot where he came from. It’s too bad that many in Palm Beach County have forgotten how much this area benefited from Mr. Reynold’s career in film and television. I remain a big fan and will always appreciate what Burt Reynolds has done for the people of Palm Beach County.

I never found acting to be something I was impressed with. I would much rather an autograph from the Red Sox 4th starter than someone who just acts. The same goes with news reporters, news reporters and actors are not famous, they portray people and report about people who are!

Do not judge a book by its cover. You clearly know nothing about the man. He is the most kind, generous, caring man his laugh is infectious and talent abounds! He is passionate about his craft and deserves to be respected for his 50+ years in the industry. He is a living legend and Palm Beach County should be proud to have him!
Mr. Reynolds you are a truly my hero!
