Palm Beacher could be guardian of Michael Jackson’s son
A Palm Beach County man may be holding some of the keys to the future of Michael Jackson’s family.
Al Malnik, an accountant and lawyer and sometime host to Jackson, says he and Jackson signed an agreement in 2003 that makes him the executor to Jackson’s multi-million dollar estate.
Another document they signed makes Malnik the godfather, and guardian, of Jackson’s little one, Blanket, in case Jackson were to die.

The King of Pop unexpectedly passed away at age 50 from an apparent heart attack Thursday.
“I am surprised because he couldn’t be revived,” Malnik said from his sprawling $20 million-mansion in Ocean Ridge. “A 50-year-old man should be able to survive something like this.”
Malnik knew Jackson for nearly 10 years. Although he won’t confirm that, word is the two met in the waiting room of a famed Beverly Hills plastic surgeon.
Since then, when Jackson needed to fly below the radar like he did in when his strange behavior with young children became an issue in 2003, the star secretly sought refuge at Malnik’s beachfront property.
For months at a time. With children and entourage.
For more on this story, and the legal bonds between Jackson and Malnik, look below
“He spent six months at my house over a three-year period until 2004,” said Malnik, who freaked people out when he took Jackson to the usually-sleepy award gala of the 2003 Palm Beach International Film Festival. “He’d be here with his three kids and they’d hang out with my triplets. I never saw anything that indicated improper behavior with the children, or even problem with drugs.
“He was just a great guy, a genius. He’d walk around the house with a notepad. I’d ask what he was doing and he’d say: ‘Oh, I’m just writing a song. I’ll sing it to you at dinner.’ And when he sang, it’d be perfect. Like a recording.”
Jackson’s sabbatical at Malnik’s home was also used for other purposes. Jackson’s finances were a mess, with debts piling up to $17 million. Malnik – the rumored accountant to long ago mobster Meyer Lansky, something he denies – helped Jackson straighten that out.
“We refinanced his debt with Sony and Bank of America,” said Malnik. “We even squeezed another $5 million cash for him.”
However, Malnik said, he made it clear to Jackson that his problems occurred because he wasn’t putting out new CDs and touring.
“I told him that since he wouldn’t stop spending, he needed to get back to work.”
Jackson’s answer: “Oh, Al, I swear I’ll do it, just for you.”
How would Jackson spend?
“When I turned 70,” Malnik said, “he insisted on chartering a plane and come to The Forge (Malnik’s Miami Beach eatery) for the party. That probably cost him $100,000.”
Malnik, meanwhile, believes that pressure for Jackson to perform in 50 upcoming concerts in London contributed to his demise.
Again, the Gloved One needed to swallow huge losses, $400 million according to rumors.
Malnik doesn’t believe that part is true.
“Michael’s finances were so complicated that no one knows,” he said. “Plus, his debt was collateralized with royalty income and these future concerts.”
The sad thing is, Malnik says: Jackson’s estate will make more money over the next few months than when the singer of Billie Jean was alive. With no extra work.
“First, there are plenty of unpublished songs that I watched him write. Then his old songs are going to sell again like crazy. And the estate won’t have all these expenses that he incurred.”
So, who gets the dough?
“I assume his three children (Paris, Prince Michael, Prince Michael II, aka Blanket, aka the baby that Jackson once dangled over a balcony),” said Malnik, 76.
“He and I signed a legal document in 2003 after he asked me to be (6-year-old) Prince Michael II’s guardian if something were to happen to Michael.
“Of course, I didn’t expect it ever to happen. If the family asks me, it’d be my duty to take care of him. I promised to raise him as my own.”
Jackson at the time also became the godfather of Malnik’s 11-year-old daughter, Spencer.
And there’s something else Malnik says he agreed to in writing in 2003: to be the executor of Jackson’s estate.
“There could always be a superseding document he signed since then. I haven’t heard anything yet, but it’s probably too early.”
And then, the two weren’t talking as often as before for the past two years.
“At first, Michael wanted to move in Palm Beach County or Miami to be closer to my family,” Malnik said, confirming rumors that surfaced in 2002 that Jackson was looking at properties in the area. “He knew I was going to build a big house next door and he kept asking to move in. I had to tell him it wouldn’t be finished before 2020 because I didn’t think it was a good idea. (In reality, the new building slated to house Malnik’s extensive Asian arts collection will be completed next year.)
“Being Michael Jackson’s friend was a full time job.”
Jackson’s reps couldn’t be reached to discuss Malnik’s future involvement.

Did you think he might be interested in your 11 year old???? Oh yeah, I’ll bet you think “Nancy” married and reproduced with you because of your stunning good looks - kids=chidl support so no worries about prenup - Smart Smart
Malnik legal documents can be obtained at Palm Beach County Clerks Office website. Plenty of documents for good old Alvin in there but nothing filed in regards to him being the guardian of said child.
PS - There are plenty of plastic surgeons in the area that won’t make your forehead look that. One good sneeze and your going to split your noggin.
PPS - Many of my fellow farkers have commented on the lovely “would hit it” Nancy. Girl, you hit the old man with money jackpot.

nancy is a bombshell! go girl
Well at least ole Malniks plastic surgery is an improvement to MJs and yes his wife who could easily pass for his daughter is very nice looking, but also Im sure if I had the approp. bucks I also could pick out a very nice looking Ferrari or Bentley so its all relative.
Yes she a bombshell but so was Spitzer’s girl. Of course at his age . . . well no need to say the obvious. Al is delusional - did you actually read what you said about MJ’s kids - as if. Compliments of all the people he preyed upon to get the millions - payday loans from the working poor.
well, that took about two days, before the some maggot lawyer crawled out to stake a claim. I am just supprised it did not happen earlier.
Malnik is a crook, a thief, a liar, and did end up with Lanskey’s cash, even cheating Lanskeys wife out of money. Malnik preys on the poor with his check cashing stores, has abused his employees at the Forge restaurant, been sued for refusing to pay minimum wage, hires illegals as housekeepers at his house, and is persona non-grata in Palm Beach - he is not a “Palm -Beacher” but lives in Manalapan and has been refused entry to every private club in Palm Beach. Malnik has suceeded in fooling jose, because jose, new to this town, is still awed by money and naive to the ways of this town. Malnik is a crook, period.
Why are these “friends” spilling their guts to anyone who asks about Michael? Maybe the poor man is entitled to some privacy even in death. The details of his finances and children are a great scoop for Jose, but honestly, what kind of friend is this guy.
Anything to have your name in the paper.
Oh I get it now, I just re-read some comments. He’s the payday loan guy. Say no more.
My gawd why would the Jackson family want this leach within 50 miles of Michaels kid. Nancy proves some people will do anything for money, she does not look like his daughter but his granddaughter!
How appropriate for a story about Alvin Malnik to have the word godfather in the story. In long gone days past he was not referred to as Meyer Lansky’s lawyer, but as his frontman for numerous hotels and restaurants on Miami Beach, and yes it is likely that the fortune Lansky was thought to have ended up in Malniks hands as either his or under his control as he continued to be a frontman for Lansky’s other associates, many of whom retired to South Florida as respected businessmen, not the the former racketeeers that they were. Malnik makes a fascinating subject, its to bad more is not known of his story from the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s, when he was regarded as a racketeer and Lansky asasociate..
Wow, such poor plastic surgery Malnick has suffered. Looks very bad!
Agreed that he is preying upon the death of Michael Jackson, seeking publicity.
Stir clear.
Bet his wife can’t wait till he dies either.
Isnt it a shame that Michael Jackson cannot rest in peace with this “ambulance chaser” getting attention. If you were truely a friend of Michael Jackson, maybe you need to ask yourself why you rushed to the media about your claim to one of his distraught children. Maybe some of the money you have can buy “class ” because you are certianly NOT showing any.
Be nice. He was too cheap to buy in Palm Beach so he built a house that looks like a library. His wife - come on sister - you walk like a duck - you act like a duck. She cannot wait until he dies, but she may be running out of time - looks fading and I am sure he can find a younger model. How pathetic for attention are they. Its bad enough you appear in the photo for this story, but you put your kids in. Don’t call him an “ambulance chaser” - that is an insult to them. Just call him pathetic and he a w
That son of a bitch sold pictures to TMZ.com! I just saw them. What a scum he is. I know your reading this you self absorbed, pathetic little excuse for a man. You have to buy friends, just like you bought your wife. You really tricked Michael into thinking you were his friend and could be trusted. Your no ones friend. Just another stupid and souless moron who live their lives in gigantic houses, running around trying to figure out what to buy next.

Melnik is a fool who actually think that his wife married him for him not because she is worki girl - But I guess no biggie - he probably can’t make it pump anyhow. What a pathetic plastic surgery job - I know the “I want everyone to know I got plastic surgery” look is popular in Boca, but not in the OR. What - were you too cheap to go to a good doc. While you may laugh at the posts as if you don’t care, but deep down you know it is true and you thought this was going to be good attention, but you are pathetic and so is Mommy - too bad the kids are roo little to object to being put in this position
