South Florida firefighters had the ladies going wild Thursday night at the Seminole Hard Rock resort in Hollywood when they unveiled their 2010 charity calendar in style.
But before the boyz hopped on stage for a half monty strip, they gave Page2Live shutterbug Michele Sandberg a close-and-personal look at their pre-show prep.
Since 1992, the tongue-in-cheek gimmick has raised over $200,000 for non-profits like the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald Children’s Charities, Neighbors 4 Neighbors, Best Buddies, Cystic Fibrosis and Here’s Help.

To All Clown, how appropriate a name, did you read the article? It clearly states South Florida firefighters, not Palm Beach County. It doesn’t matter where they’re from, gay or not, they’re still professionals, raising money for charities. I wonder if your homophobia would keep you from accepting their help if you were having a heart attack?

Gee, I wonder why the guys who are leaving derogatory comments about homosexuals apparently felt the need to look at beautiful half naked men? This is a calendar for charity and has nothing to do what so ever with gay men.
I think we need more professional behavior out of these employees. This is not what they are paid to do. Raise your money another way. If these were women they would be fired.
What is it with you people who have to throw the “gay card” all the time? These are hard working professionals who are out raising money for charity. The article makes no reference to anyones sexual preference but NOOOOOOOOOOOOO…….you have to take the whole thing in a different direction. You are disgusting with your crude comments. Just like last week with the Wieland weatherman wedding proposal……people responded with “he’s gay”, get over it already! Everytime there is something on here, the gay thing gets thrown on the table. If your house ignites or your car blows up and goes into flames, remember who answers the call, they are there to help you in your time of distress and they aren’t gonna care whether you are heterosexual, bisexual or whatever sexual you are! They are there to help you!

One word….YUMMY!!! I’m pretty sure they are not gay but if they are, who cares….they are nice to look at anyway. It’s nice to see they keep themselves in shape considering the job they have. There are a lot of Police Officers, Fire Fighters, etc that are NOT fit for the job. It baffles me on how they can save someone or run after criminals. Do you people have anything better to do then to criticize somebody. To the guys, if it was a bunch of swim suit models raising money for charity and half naked in bikini’s, there of course would be no problem. Right? The funny thing is, why did you read the article and look at the pics? Are you gay? Hey it’s whatever….sex sells. That’s just the way it is. Get over it!

Disgusting! Put your clothes on boys, you do serious work, if you want to model, change professions. Take it from a mother that lost her only child to a devistating fire, this is no joking matter and everyone involved should be ashamed. I appreciated all the firefighters and paramedics that tried to save my baby, young or old, large or small. This whole modeling business does not put you in a very good light.
I’m sorry Mother of 1 to read about your child. I don’t think anyone thinks that this is a joke but, to deny these brave men the opportunity to raise money (by any means they choose)for a wonderful charity and enjoy their lives because you lost your son is a shame. I think it does put them in a very good light.

Jeez, some of you uptight people might be happier living in Bugtussle, Mississippi….Who the F. cares about their sexuality…They are brave men willing to go into a burning house to rescue your sorry azz’s or perform medical duties. Do the research and find the statistics, I did. Firemen actually work less than 5% of the time they are on the clock. The job seems very heroic and hard, however, it is a documented fact to be one of the least physical jobs. That is why they are all in great shape. They hang out in the firehouse and work out. Most of these guys use muscle enhancements. The fire departments do not test for steroid use unlike the police departments.
Trust me. My son is one of the firefighters and he definitely is not gay and he has never done steroids.
You better hope that these guys are around when YOU need them.
Its amazing if someone has a great body they have to either be gay or on steroids. Amy I was thinking the same thing, ya almost want to set your house on fire just so they would respond, but then again no assurance one of these fine looking men would show up. I’m thinking all those who are making rude comments are just jealous because they dont have the self dicipline to achieve such great bodies. You go boys you look GREAT.

Makes you wonder how much they work-out on the public dime……double - dipping……excessive pay….where I grew up we had a Volunteer Fire Department that worked just fine….and the Volunteers were proud to do it.
Ok people…first 99% of firefighters are NOT gay…so what if they are!!! Plus most of them do not look like these guys. as for the oh so fabulous person who “did the research” on the percentage of time spent working…why don’t you give it a try pal!!! Firefighters are constantly training, taking courses and studying. Over the course of their carreers, the amount of continuing education they do is more than most doctors, so until you have all of your facts straight…keep your mouth shut! Inspections and equipment maintainance is of the utmost importance…to um you know keep you safe!
