Wild 95.5 jock’s stunt goes awry — again!

Wild 95.5’s morning jock Jason Pennington is on a mean streak.
For the second time in a month, a stunt backfired on the guy, this time literally.
Pennington was channeling his rapper alter ego, The Value Meal Killah, for a stage show Friday night at Palm Beach Garden’s Ouzo Blue when things went south.
He first fell flat on his back on the slick stage as he attempted a wrestling stunt. With his back locked into place, security guards carried him away — then dropped him on his back for a second time.
In pain but determined to finish the gig, Pennington then sat in a chair to show his fire-eating prowess. Not only did he burn himself, but the jolt of the pain caused him to fall from the chair, on his back.
“I’ve been laying down on my floor since then and I’m taking care of the burns,” Pennington said Saturday morning. “But the crowd seemed to get a kick out of it.”
Pennington toilet-papered WPB Mayor Lois Frankel’s house this month. Only, it wasn’t Frankel’s house, but her neighbor’s. He’s been part of the station’s morning crew, with Virginia Lang and Kevin Rolston, for five years.
Does this morning show still exist? I deleted this programming from my radio’s memory years ago. These idiots are mongering media whores who will do ANYTHING and SAY ANYTHING to get attention. They’ve gone so far as to exploit SEXUAL ABUSE in casual conversation to draw a listeners ear. They are garbage. Garbage in garbage out, no thanks…I’d rather play with a Napalm and a lighter than listen to Bozo the clown 1, 2 and 3.

THE STORY OF TWO (2) MORONS: ONE IS PENNINGTON FOR MORONIC STUNTS TO GET ATTENTION, AND TWO IS LAMBIET FOR WRITING ABOUT A MORON TO CREATE A MORONIC ‘STORY’. IT’S NO WONDER WHY THE PBP IS ONLY USED IN BATHROOMS.
All of these ‘wacky DJ’ shows are complete garbage.
I bought a subscription to satellite radio and I am thrilled. I can listen to any kind of uninterrupted music, whenever I want. I never have to listen to these moronic, publicity seeking DJ’s ever again!
I hate 95.5! I stopped listening to them years ago…this guys is NOT the only IDIOT on that station…THEY are ALL IDIOTS!

I don’t mind listening to them in the morning occasionally, but WTF is up with the same show being broadcast in the afternoon? That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of! At least make it a different show for the ride home, sheesh!

Paul and Young Ron is the only morning show worth listening to. Bob and Tom are just flat out terrible.

I am surprised to read how many people dont like these 3 DJs. I listen to them everyday; I guess some of their stunts are pretty lame but who gives a toss? Gives us something and someone to make fun of. It cant be good for them though as it looks like their popularity isnt very high. TJ HOOKER: That marianna chick was not hot dude, she was fat and ugly. But I guess most dudes will do anything that walks.
If it wasn’t for that morning show Jason would be working in a McDonalds. He has no talent that’s why he does all those stupid stunts to keep his job. When the show runs its course (like they all do), he’ll be out of work because he can’t even DJ. I’ve heard him “try” and boy does he suck. Sorry Jason, you better start saving your money for your rainy day because its coming.
I have different tast, but we all should agree to disagree, they put a decent show and play the music you wanna hear.. I used to listen to them Years ago..

horrible, horrible, horrible morning radio show!!!!!!!! im pretty sure i lost some IQ points just by listening for 5 mins. they are ignorant and not funny at all!!
I must say, the only person with talent on that show is Kevin. He’s the brains of the operation and the only one who puts in any real work. Virginia is a dead-beat drug addict wannabe diva and Jason, well, this article says it all. A failure. The only way this stunt would have been successful is if he set himself completely on fire and had Virginia use mental telepathy to put it out. He is a completely untalented ass-clown. Words of Wisdom: Clear Channel needs to drug test and rid that station of garbage. Good work to Kevin.

It’s funny how all these negative comments begin with “I stopped listening to this show” or “this is a horrible show”…ha, you know enough about them that YOU READ THIS ARTICLE AND COMMENTED. They have plenty of fans such as myself who don’t take themselves too seriously…get a life and CHANGE THE CHANNEL. It’s all in fun, you know they have ON-AIR personalities,right? ugh. OK, Jason’s an immature attention hog. But I’ve enjoyed Kevin & Virginia for 10 years, enjoying their real time life experiences that have coincided with my own (clubs, relationships, marriage, kids).
Keep up the good work, but remember that Jason’s slapstick doesn’t play well on radio.

The wild 95 crew are break even at best for some reason my girlfriend listens probably cause she cant stand B&T. You want good talk radio try the love docs…Dr. Rich is nice and grumpy Glen is Fat and Happy and as dumb as Lexus is she still is a better radio host and Mom than Virginia…I know some of the 95 crew personally bunch of douche bags!!!!!
Haters need to hesitate. Jason is hilarious and talented. Give yourself a mic and see what creativity you can come up with. Listeners that listen with hateful ears need to relax and get over yourself. Don’t be envious of people that actually have personalities and aren’t afraid to NOT take themselves too seriously. I met him with my child a couple of years ago…he was going through a really hard time. Jason encouraged him to pick up the guitar and he hasn’t stopped since. Thanks again J-Bird!~

Value meal killah is a savory meatloaf dinner. Jason is the side of mashed potatoes i would love to put my gravy on. He has such a cute face and his real life personality is so genuine. I enjoy WILD 95.5 every morning and he is the reason why i listen to the station. I hope he has a safe recovery.
I can’t believe these idiots are still on the air. They’ve been on for such a long time and they still haven’t tried to change who their target audience is. I don’t know how old Jason is, but all these stunts are immature for a man his age. Jason, high school starts at 730 so all the teenagers aren’t even around to listen to your sorry ass

The absolute WORST morning show. Every show consists of the “top ten…” or some other article they found on the homepage of mens health. After Maryann left, that show went downhill. I loved the chemistry between her and Jason… now those two would make a great morning show!

I’ve been listening to this show on the way to work in the past few months. ITS NOT WORTH A DAMN! Who gives a Sh*t about john and Kate, Or the desperate house wives show airing that same night?! Not to mention the Horrible unfunny Phone Call skits where one of the Ass Clowns pretend to be Dementia Don, and Do horrible prank calls on people making them think that the person phoning them is an old man who hangs himself on the phone, shoots himself in the head etc.

By the way…The reason why i happen to catch this show is because every other show here is the Same Sh*T! Im so Glad im moving back up to jersey where the music is New Fresh Non Repetative and the DJ’s Know how to DJ and are actually FUNNY! and talk about Interesting and crazy things going on instead of crappy chick flick shows that are going to be broadcasted on that week.
