The trophy wife of Florida Senate hopeful Nick Loeb was picked up for DUI Friday at dawn in Boca Raton.
A breathalizer test showed Anna Loeb, a Swedish photographer whom the well-connected Republican Loeb married in 2005, blew more than twice the legal limit of 0.08.
A cop described her as “emotional” and “crying” and suffering from a stuffy nose when she was taken to jail. She was released about noon Friday without bail.

Neither she nor Loeb or his campaign manager, Richard Giorgio, returned calls amid rumors that Loeb and his wife are struggling with marital problems.

Until recently Anna, 31, was often at Nick’s side on the campaign trail and at social events.
Anna Loeb was stopped by a patrolman shortly before 4 a.m. as her VW was allegedly swerving between the curb and the outside lane on Military Trail. He reported she had blood-shot eyes and reeked of liquor.
According to the police report, she told the officer she had just left Nippers, a nightclub.
There, she admitted to drinking a Captain Morgan and Coke plus a glass of wine.
Police reported she failed several routine field sobriety tests.
Nick Loeb is running for the seat of District 25 state Sen. Jeff Atwater. The other serious contenders include Carl Domino and Broward’s Ellyn Bogdanoff.
Loeb is the heir of a New York banking family. His dad, John Loeb, was former Prez Ronald Reagan’s ambassador to Denmark and the United Nations.
Domino, meanwhile, didn’t seem to care much about the arrest.
“It’s going to be between me and Ellyn anyway,” Domino said. “If Nick wants some name recognition, he’d better start spending millions.”
When he ran unsuccessfully for Delray city commission in 2006, Loeb used to introduced Anna as his fiancee even though the two were married for weeks.

Richard Giorgio will attempt to portray the ho’s arrest as politically motivated, but that won’t work. He’ll then come up with other schemes to boost his billings to his client. Remember, his client list includes Al Zucaro, the king of sleaze.

Why the need to be so rude? If you don’t like Nick Loeb, don’t vote for him. While driving under the influence is certainly unacceptable, there is no need to call his wife a ho or cokehead. Maybe Ellyn and Carl’s supporters need a lesson in etiquette before they get on to a blog.

The charges will probably be dropped just because of who she is married to. Remember that county commissioner up in the treasure coast somewhere who was videotaped from a dashcam during his field sobriety tests, and later on the judge tossed out the charges against him.
It’s funny how Carl Domino just laughs at the thought of Loeb making a serious run for the vacant seat. Not even his opponents seem to show some respect for this guy. Loeb is probably a daddy’s little girl who lives off of his father’s name and reputation
It’s to bad for Nick, but this really does hurt his chances for the Senate seat. It’s that old saying…”show me who your friends are and I’ll tell you who you are!”. However in this case it would be..his wife and her friends. It’s COMMON knowledge what is going on at Nippers at 4:00am.
Regarding the Senate seat, Nick really never had a chance there. He should have stayed running for Adam Hasner’s old seat, he had a much better chance at that. Unfortunately, his campaign manager is not bright enough to have told Nick that…..guess it’s the old greed factor for Georgio…too bad, he did a great injustice here.

I was just watching Nick Loeb’s ad campaign thats linked on here with Rudy and the guy couldnt keep still. Either he has ADHD or he’s coked up. I’d be interested in knowing what all he’s been doing “recreationally”. He’s a nice looking man as well, odd his wife was out at a bar at 4 in the morning with a hunk like that at home. Maybe its all for show, the trophy wife and all. Maybe she’s not his “type” if you get my drift. Whatever she was on I’m glad the cops stopped and arrested her, just like any other citizen driving around looped at that time of morning. If you ask me, this guy and his wife seem to fit right in with the politicians of today. Maybe she’ll get a rehab clinic names after her.

I have been arrested for this crap and know other people who have been too. I met them all at th MADD required meeting. EVERYONE charged with this offense is GUILTY FIRST. When one goes to court you have to prove INNOCENCE . I thought the courts were suppose to work the other way.Somehow Anna will avoid this. Its all about MONEY ! Sorry, but this is a beautiful woman. If this is what she looks like at her worst then count me in as an admirer. I don’t care for any of the politicians running for this seat. However, I don’t think I would vote for someone that doesn’t care about people driving around wasted. Maybe the article didn’t explain that well enough. You would expect someone wanting to be a legislator to have respect for the law and be upset about someone doing what this woman did. Luckily, she was arrested and didn’t have the chance to kill some innocent person.

Why do we care what she looks like? So she is trash wrapped in a pretty bow. Does attractive equate to class, intelligence and maturity? Case in point not. Most attractive woman that are out without their husbands late at night drinking and doing drugs are very ugly people on the inside. She is an irresponsible, immature, spoiled, drunk and druggie. It is never okay to drink and drive, but to be doing this kind of stuff while your husband (even if he’s “estranged”) is in the public eye and running for office and to tarnish your family’s (in-law) reputation is just disgusting. She may be pretty to look at but she obviously has zero class and is out of her league to be part of a political or reputable Loeb family. She has brought the Loeb family down with this low class act, which I’m sure is not her first time doing drugs and driving while drinking, its just the first time she’s been caught. It’s a shame that the actions of his classless and irresponsible wife are now going to follow Nicks reputation (and his family’s) for a very very long time. What was this guy thinking to allow this behavior go unchecked? Hope a lesson has been learned by everyone involved. And am I understanding she got out of jail so quickly and with no bail? Seems like so many people (or so few people from one or two camps) want to slam this couple and his run for office. Making uninformed / sweeping assumptions and accusations and then trying, in vain i might add, to link this to a campaign and their marriage. with voters like you all its no wonder Fla is struggling with so many “real” issues and problems.
