Anna Loeb, the model-material wife of Florida Senate candidate Nick Loeb, filed divorce papers in a Palm Beach family court in Delray Beach, citing “irreconcilable differences” as pictures of her partying in her native Sweden appeared online.
Trust-funder Nick and the bombshell were married four years ago in the office of West Palm Beach lawyer Michael Walsh, who now represents the former Anna Pettersson in the split.
Rumors were abounding all summer that the wannabe pol and the wife were splitsville. While the two were attached at the hip earlier in the campaign, Anna started spending more time in her native European country. Then pictures of her partying up a storm in Stockholm turned up on the Swedish nightlife site finest.se.

Anna Loeb’s Oct. 2 divorce filing comes about a month after she was nabbed on suspicion that she was driving through Boca Raton at 4 a.m. while drunk. The 30-year-old Anna admitted to Boca cops that she’d been drinking Captain Morgan and coke, and allegedly blew twice the legal limit in a breathalyzer test. Her DUI case is still pending.
With both the wife’s criminal trouble and the divorce, it is unclear whether Loeb, 34, still has a chance in the race for Senate President Jeff Atwater’s District 25 seat. His campaign Web site hasn’t been updated. It still shows a picture of marital bliss, complete with the fluffy pooch. He still has a campaign office, but he didn’t respond to a request that he comment on the divorce.
While Loeb’s pedigree is impeccable for political office — his dad, John, was an ambassador to Denmark for Prez Ronald Reagan from 1981-83 and served as a delegate to the United Nations in 1984 — he ran unsuccessfully for Delray Beach council.
Anna Loeb couldn’t be reached and Walsh didn’t return calls.

Does anyone in politics ever stay married to the same person? Is Jennifer Ross running for something?

Now that’s a REAL match made in heaven. An alleged South Florida “Family” Law Attorney (Former President of the Palm Beach County Bar Association.) and a South Florida Goldigger.
I wonder how Mr. Loeb feels about trusting an attorney enough to get married in his office and then, not long after, have the same attorney file against you for divorce after his wife (w/o husband) is alleggedly picked up at 4am wasted and driving in FL and before that allegedly partying very Publicly in Sweden, (also w/o husband).
Do people in this profession have any shame?
These kind of love stories warm the heart and restore our faith in time-tested things like trusting lawyers, true love and the institution of marriage.
Its enough to turn a guy gay.
Think Atty. Walsh wrote the prenup too? Why not! Might as well get a fee on that too…..lovely business…this family law stuff.

First, yes, she is PRETTY in SOME of those photos. But don’t we all have some good pics of ourselves? MODEL QUALITY?? Uh, I don’t think so!! That is laughable Jose? Did you leave off your glasses when were looking at some of those? Pic #1 has her nubby hands, chipped polish and runs in her stockings!! Looks like she was having one of her typical rough nights over in Europe! Not to mention a FUGLY FACE! If you’re a SINGLE gal then there is ZERO wrong with these pictures of her partying it up all night long every other night. But these pictures are of a MARRIED WOMAN that has been unveiled as a party gold-digger girl to be out all night without her husband. Jose, what happened to impartial reporting? The way you report the story leads me to believe you got a hard on for the gal… or maybe you’re sleeping with her too! Or maybe you just have something against Nick Loeb? Nick Loeb looks like the victim any which way you look at it! He painted the FAMILY picture maybe because that is what he thought he had! All the while his wife is screwing around behind his back and globe trotting her party lifestyle. And now she sees that her bad behavior will be publicly reported so she files for divorce from her meal ticket so she can collect her settlement and alimony and continue to party all night long without the public eye watching her. I just don’t get why Mr. Loeb is painted as the villain when his wife’s actions proved that she was a no good wife and gold-digger? He was suckered. Don’t punch a man when he is down. Also, Either persons sexual preference is of no relevance… who cares if either of them are gay or bi. Living in south florida I have many gay friends that are class acts and high quality upstanding people in our community. They don’t cheat on their spouses or live an irresposible life. No relevance.

It sure deceptive of an aspiring politician to put up a public nickloeb.com which seems to sell the couple as your perfect happily married couple, when in fact it now looks like nothing was further.
But to be fair. All politicians seem to set their cornerstones on deceit these days.

So if your husband turns out to be gay and you are the wife or if your wife turns out gay and you are the husband……is that grounds for divorce?
Is that even relevant in a marriage where money is the primary motivator?
To date I have not seen any evidence that either is gay. So what if they are however. While she is way out of line to be acting like that if she is a married lady, it is no different than most young single girls out partying together. But I must say, it looks like Nick had her in her prime. He should be counting his lucky stars to get rid of this bad seed. Out of curiosity I did my own google of Anna PETTERSSON to see if she partied just as much before she hit the jackpot.. I mean got married to a Loeb. I almost missed her. The website stureplan.se shows that she was gross before she won the lotto, uh I mean married Loeb. She wasn’t a blonde then, instead a darker haired, fat and to tan euro trash piece in hooker looking clothes! This is the BOMBSHELL you’re referring to? Well I guess when you marry money you have the cash and time to buy better clothes, get a trainer and hit the surgeons and salons on a regular basis. She must have figured out that she needed to clean up her outward appearance to snag a sugar daddy. While Jose doesn’t show the dates of each of those pictures, if you look on the actual finest.se website you can see the dates… several are of her AFTER her DUI bust. The chick didn’t learn her lesson. Cheap and stupid to boot. In many picture no doubt she is hot, but as the pictures chronologically age,. So does she.. fast! She is going to look like a washed up hag well before her time. Count your blessing Loeb that you got out of this one early on. You have plenty of time to find a respectable responsible and mature wife and continue on with a political direction. However, this time, I recommend you look deeper than the outer layer of skin to see a true quality gal or you’ll be entertaining us again in no time with another gold-digger divorce.

Both Nick Loeb and his wife seem really unintelligent and trashy. The only thing they got going is looks and his inherited status. I hope she lands on her feet in Sweden because she won’t get anywhere except prison with this kind of behaviour over there. If he succeeds in politics, it’s a joke.

It amazes me that this reporter actually has a job. And to Delraychick, its funny you could actually call one unintelligent from hearing rumors and conjecture. As one that knows both, this is not an easy situation. I can only hope you get divorced and people comment on your ugly face and loser life!!
It seems you are jealous that Nick comes from a wealthy family. He was born into priveledge, and for you to hold that against him is repulsive. Maybe you married a loser who has no money and is actually ‘unintelligent’ thereby casting the blame of your sorry life upon us all.
Nick is incredibly smart and was extremely devoted to multiple charitable causes. Maybe the Palm Beach Post, instead of being biased, could report on some of the endeavors Nick has pursued. He could have idly sat by and done nothing with his life but he chose public service to give back. Nick is extremely grateful for his good fortune, and one of his biggest platforms is education. I guess most of these comments are coming from the uneducated though. Everyone loves to pick on someone when they are jealous or less fortunate.
I would suggest all involved in the trash talking actually find something worthy to do with their time, ie volunteer.

Allegedly, a LOT of people think that he is a Self-Important D-Bag who has never had a real job in his life……I have no idea, not knowing him at all.

There’s not many movies where I seriously consider not seeing it all the way through. I watch 5-12 movies a week, new releases and classics, and typically I see them all through to the bitter end.
But 20 minutes into “The Smokers” I was fighting a most uncharacteristic urge to hit the Stop button.
And 30 minutes into the film I found myself in great sympathy of those animals who gnaw their legs off to escape a trap.
