Ivanka Trump, daughter of Donald and Ivana Trump, married New York publisher Jared Kushner in a private ceremony yesterday evening, at her dad’s Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey. The bride wore a Vera Wang dress inspired by Grace Kelly, and $265,000 worth of bling around her neck. Hours before the exchange of vows before 500 people, Ivanka tweeted: “Just finished a gorgeous hike. The leaves are spectacular and the sun is shining. Everything is simply perfect! I’m getting married today!” A favorite with the Mar-a-Lago crowd as a little kid, Ivanka turns 28 Friday. Much luck to the couple!

The jewelry she was wearing was worth 200k, the dress prices wasnt stated..read closer before talking…and there are PLENTY of people around this area who have more than 200k in jewelry! A Vera Wang gown is nice but not 200k nice.

Whew! The comments people! Please! She is a beautiful bride and he is adorable - he is not homely at all. The comment about him being a mensch - did you know that the meaning of the word is a person of integrity and honor. He is from an extremely wealthy family - probably more than Trump. And the comment about the 265K - that is the cost of the necklace she is wearing not the gown. I say rock on Ivanka! Ivanka is one of the hardest working people of her generation. She worked in menial jobs for her father, learned the business - graduated from Wharton School of Business and is probably ten times as smart as the Donald. Have a long and prosperous marriage!

I think Ivanka is a beautiful, cultured, intelligent, educated, charming and savvy young woman who married a handsome, cultured, intelligent, charming, educated and savvy young man. They are a lovely couple and I wish them love, luck and a long and happy life together.

For all of those complaining about the Trumps spending a lot of money on this wedding: I think if they have the money, they should be able to spend it any way they want. Just because you’re hurting for cash doesn’t mean everyone else has to, too. BTW - I am struggling, too, and frankly it’s my own fault that I’m not rich. I don’t knock anyone who is, as long as they earned it legally.
To those criticizing the groom’s looks: Maybe he’s sweet, attentive, intelligent and story book handsome in Ivanka’s eyes. Maybe she knows he will never cheat on her and will be a wonderful husband and father.

I think Ivanka has is the gold standard for all of the rotten silver spoon brigade. She is a brilliant business person, that handles her self with class and dignity. You will never see her starring in a sex tape… or arriving to a after-hour party with no panties on, or fueled by Cocaine, and Vodka. She is a tremendous role-model for all women, and men. I do hope most of you are just trying to ruffle some feathers and can recognize Ivanka as a compelling, driven, respectable person.

I’ll give this girl credit for not turning into another Paris Hilton - by getting an education and job. However, I do not agree with her self proclaimed attitude that she is a business expert as she says in her book. We all know that she would not be where she is today if it wern’t for her being a member of the lucky sperm club being the offspring of rich and priviledged parents. This girl does not need to draw more attention to herself - it shows the same lack of character and insecurity her father is known for. She should try to lead as private a life as possible without all the drama her family is known for.
P.S. It will be interesting to see if Ivanka will embrace her new Orthodox Jewish religion. Keeping kosher means no more fancy restaurants, no more flashy skin revealling gowns, her hair must be covered in a wig or snood, no more wearing pants, and there will be strict rules for intmacey. I highly doubt she will take on this lifestyle. She will be more like a Reform Jew.
