– One of several women who caused the spectacular fall of area U.S. Rep. Tim Mahoney, Martin County operations manager Kimberly Roden, is walking away from her $73,000-a-year gig in a buyout effort by the county. A comely blue-eyed blonde who was credited for getting the U.S. government to pay for hurricane cleanup that it didn’t pay in neighboring counties, Roden was disciplined (sorta!) three days without pay earlier this year for not telling her superiors that she and the very married Mahoney were an item. The Democrat lost his reelection bid to Republican Tom Rooney last year after he admitted to several affairs, including one with an employee. His wife, Terry, filed for divorce within days. Roden took several tax-funded trips to Washington, D.C., while Mahoney was in office. Roden’s departure comes as the county offered to pay longtime employees for up to 16 weeks if they leave. “The program is absolutely voluntary,” said county administrative services boss Gary Gierlicz. “No one is being pushed out.”

– Major Leaguer Alex Rodriguez, who just won the World Series with the New York Yankees, has discounted his Coral Gables mansion. It was on the market for $14.8 million. Now, it can be yours for $10 million, according to realestalker Web site. Wouldn’t hurt so much if A-Rod didn’t buy the six-bedroomer for $12 million five years ago. She deserves a refund for all the drinks she would have to drink before laying down for such a “homely” looking dude. Martin County should be investigated for puiblic corruption. The County administrator works directly over her husband. HOW IS THAT PERMITTED? Sounds like nepotism to me. So much of this crap going on in our county, How do they get away with it?

This kind of working environment where a bimbo is hopping in and out of every boss mans bed just leads to trouble. QUALIFIED applicants are often passed over for promotions because the party girl gets the job. Decent hard working females are often denied promotions for not sexing the boss. Blackmale can be used and proffesionalism is sacrificed. I am wondering WHY the states attorney hasn’t investigated things in Martin County government.

You know what? There was a Union Shop Steward who became very vocal about the spending and waste in Martin County. She expressed her heart felt concern for some of the lowest paid employees, She was laid off for making too many waves. These people operate like gangsters. The behavior of these low life creeps will bring you many stories in the future, I promise you.
Lucky for her that neither Martin County nor FEMA ever learned about the checks she was cashing from Mahoney’s business account while the FEMA app. was under consideration.

It makes you wonder what was going on in that marriage. Was the wife an evil abuser or was the husband just an adulterous creep on the same level as Ted Kennedy. And Kim Rodent (sorry, I meant Roden) should not have been running around with a married man. It was foolish at best and evil at worst.
