This picture would be cute, sorta, if the guy on the right weren’t Scott Rothstein, and the guy on the left, Gov. Charlie Crist, weren’t trying to distance himself from his former friend. The photo, courtesy of wedding shutterbug Stephan Maloman, was taken Jan. 28, 2008 inside the old Versace Mansion in Miami Beach, at a reception before Rothstein’s wedding to the lady in the middle, Kim. Scott Rothstein is allegedly responsible for one of the largest financial swindle in SoFla history, after Bernie Madoff. And the guv has been monotone and short in his answers about his relationship with Rothstein.

Rothstein reminds me of a white-collar Al Capone. He has absolutely no conscience, and will say whatever he thinks sounds good at the moment - what he thinks other people want to hear - anything to take the pressure off and divert attention away from what a sap he is. He’ll never repay anybody; he is stupid enough to have thought he could actually get away with his scheme. The thought of getting caught and spending most of the rest of his miserable life in prison never entered into his one-track mind. Talk about self-will run riot! And the rich, greedy-for-more morons who lost money with this sad clown? - They got just what they deserved . . .Whoever heard of a legitimate return on investment even close to the percentage knucklehead was advertising?

Rosthstein sends out wedding invitations to a number of people in a very large circle…people feel obligated to to attend…many probably would rather not, am sure, because there is still some sense of manners in some circles…Do you REALLY know if Gov. Crist is a friend or acquaintance?

The partners at RRA will try to make it seem as they were totally detached from this massive fraud and or his business behind closed doors, but reality is they were as foreighn to the fraud as they were to the glamorous lifestyle depicted in this photo. How could the partners at the firm not question this guy when he is seen sporting around in a 1.6 Mil Buggati, dressed in $7,500.00 Brioni suits with no-one else other than Governor Crist. I mean the partners were blind, deaf and dump — not possible!

What a sad saga. This should teach people to open an E Trade account and do not give your money to these crooks to invest. Have not seen or read about any of them in Palm Beach - other than Crist who has attended events at Mar-A Lago with his snotty new wife who gained her millions off her last 2 divorces.
