About 300, mostly young, supporters of the local chapter of the Red Cross, and Dancing With the Stars‘ Aaron Carter, had their end-of-year shindig 24 hours early, late Wednesday, at the Beach Club in Palm Beach.
In the cool air by the pool, guests wore tropical outfits to match the decor by party designer Bruce Sutka. A junkanoo band, mermaids and Miami’s DJ Slam entertained as the guests munched on finger foods.
The organizers, the Young Friends of the Red Cross, were founded in 1972 to develop a younger generation of supporters of the non-profit.

Palm Beach radio talker Rush Limbaugh may have experienced a heart attack yesterday in Hawaii when he was overcome by chest pains.
Stepping in for Limbaugh on the radio at noon today, economist Walter E. Williams said Limbaugh felt the symptoms of a coronary before admitted in an Honolulu hospital.
“Those pains were the kind of pains that makes one feel like he has a heart attack coming on,” Williams said as he opened the show. “But it’s not been confirmed that it was a heart attack.
“Today he’ll have a complete examination and we’ll know more.”
Meanwhile, Williams said, Limbaugh is in good and stable condition.
“Rush continues to rest comfortably,” Williams said, “as comfortable as one can be in a hospital while on vacation.”
Limbaugh — who lost one third of his body weight, 100 pounds, while on a strict diet this year — turns 59 Jan. 12.
Page2Live last ran into El Rushbo three months ago at Pistache French restaurant on Clematis in West Palm Beach. He said at the time he felt great. He had a small portion of organic chicken and onion soup.
But there’s little doubt that his ouster from a group of investors considering the purchase of the NFL’s St. Louis Rams in October took its toll on Limbaugh, a friend of Limbaugh’s told me. At times sounding stressed out, football nut Limbaugh railed against the football league throughout the fall, calling Commissioner Roger Goodell “a weasel” for opposing his bid. Last week, Limbaugh was still at it, picking up on this story about The Who’s Pete Townshend performing at the upcoming Super Bowl’s half-time show to illustrate the league’s double standards.

Woods
Contrary to what Entertainment Tonight and others put out over the past few days, embattled golfer Tiger Woods is not in Palm Beach. Nor is he partying, or living, with galpal Rachel Uchitel.
And he definitely did not break bread at the stuffy Everglades Club Saturday night.
Believe it or not, reports claiming that Uchitel, the granddaughter of deceased Everglades Club member Warner Bishop, brought Woods to the club over the weekend sprung up all over the web.
Obviously, whoever wrote them has never been into the Worth Avenue hangout. Not only is the members’ average age well above 60, it historically has had a problem with minorities. The club boasts no non-white members, but it has the likes of former U.S. Secretary of State Al Haig and radio talker Rush Limbaugh.
Said Everglades Club prez Bill Pannill: “A member can bring in anyone, but I can tell you that the young lady (Uchitel) isn’t a member. I hope a member would have the good sense not to bring Tiger Woods. We don’t like the attention. I’ve been to most parties at the club during the holiday season and I didn’t see Tiger Woods.”
(Click here to see pictures of Uchitel partying, Woods-less, at 251 Sunrise, also Saturday.)
As for Uchitel and Woods hooking up, wrong yet again.
“I spent most of Saturday afternoon and evening with Rachel and I promise you Tiger was nowhere in sight,” said a nightscape dweller. “As a matter of fact, no one brings up Tiger to her.”
ET’s spokeswoman didn’t return calls.

Rachel Uchitel, 34, the New York nightclub hostess with whom golfer Tiger Woods has been cheating on his wife, spent some time on the sand in Palm Beach over the weekend. Uchitel, the granddaughter of a Midwest banker who moved to Palm Beach in the 1980s, also was spotted partying at the town’s only nightclub, 251 Sunrise.
