Lucky break: Riviera cop sex accuser gets pinched

Things are looking up for former Riviera Beach K-9 cop Maurice Morris.
He’s going to trial in West Palm Beach today on charges that he sexually assaulted a female motorist he pulled over last year after a political rally for then-presidential candidate Barack Obama.
But earlier this week, his accuser and the trial’s star witness got herself thrown in jail for allegedly trying to kill a boyfriend.
Morris’ alleged victim, a West Palm Beacher whose name is being withheld because of the sexual nature of the allegations, claimed Morris followed her home after a three-ticket stop in October 2008. They had oral sex and vaginal intercourse, although she reported feeling intimidated. Morris then allegedly ripped up the tickets.
But as Morris’ trial on bribery and sexual assault charges loomed Wednesday, the accuser was nabbed for an unrelated assault on her boyfriend. She’s being held on no bond on an attempted murder charge. The 31-year-old allegedly stabbed her dude with a barbecue fork and a meat cleaver. He was air-lifted to St. Mary’s Medical Center and survived.
Deadpanned Morris’ lawyer, Nicole Sauvola: “She’s a captive witness. We’re sure she’ll show up. And her showing up in prison garb isn’t going to endear her to the jury.”
Thirteen-year police veteran Morris, and the service K-9 he locked into the woman’s bathroom at the time of the alleged sex, retired early this year.

morris is not the only one on the Riviera Beach Police force who has done this. He is the only one got caught. Charges should not be drop,becaues the young ladie and her dude had an small fight.Lock his butt!!! up.They use there badges to get what they want. She should stuck him with the fork.i would!

Riviera policemen feel they can do whatever they want as long as they wear a badge and a gun, then they think they are forgiven for their deeds(in most cases they are) he should not have had the chance to retire and use the taxpayers money for raping women while on duty or off duty. He should be locked up
Thats crazy!!I was just reading about the 31 yar old woman who stabbed her boyfriend for his ex calling the phone,she stabbed him for allegedly cheating but she had sex with a cop!Women in palm beach are crazy and stupid as hell in general!

what a joke, they are withholding the name of the victim because its a rape case but they ran the story of the victim stabbing her boyfriend yesterday…
People … did you forget about the one of the foundations of our government… innocent until proven guilty? Morris is guaranteed the right to tell his side of the story. Reserve judgement until ALL of the facts are presented.

THIS OFFICER/VICTIM HAVE THE RIGHT TO A FAIR TRIAL AND TO GIVE THEIR SIDES OF THE STORY….TWO STORIES FOR THE VICTIM AND UNTIL THAT TIME, JUDGEMENT NEEDS TO BE WITHHELD.

OK…He was found guilty at the trail. He is going to appeal. Did you know that the victim refused to take a rape test kit…she refused to give up her clothing that she was alledgedly rapped in…she refused to go to the hospital and there was no semen or sperm found in her underware. His guilt is based on missing tickets and her word. He thinks she stole the tickets because she was on Felony Probation and could go to jail once her probation officer found out. I was there for the trail. WPB Police Dept interviewed her on the couch in the living room where she said it happened. She also tried to kill someone in broward. He was very professional at the trail and she was a trip. She refused to answer questions like…did it happen on your stomach or back…her reply…I don’t know…..did he have a condom on….I dont remember…..was his pants off….her reply…yes…I mean half way off….I mean…just his zipper. Now…He weighs approx 270 …big guy right….the couch was soft with loose pillows….the evidence…pictures showed that the couch was completely organized…not one pillow out of place….now how is that so…hmmmmm. He didn’t follow her home the way they say……she was told to park her vehicle and call a friend to pick her up. He left to go home she came Zooming by him in her car after he told her not to drive it yelling she had an emergency at home….he followed her to check it out….she said she that she left her 2 small children alone and was afraid that she was going to get in trouble she later stated that after he arrived that she could prove by paperwork that she didn’t know that her DL was suspended. It was a lie….he found no kids there alone because they were in DCF Custody….and the story continues…..I pray that Ms. Derserine Caradici has to answer to God.
