You have no idea what you are talking about and the good that Lois Pope does for this animal community. Her passion is to stop the suffering of children and animals and does more in one day to help this cause than any of you do in your entire lifetime. What have you people done for the abused, homeless animals and children lately? What time have you given of yourself? When you can speak with intelligence and knowledge, then make a comment but when you speak with jealousy and envy because you don't have . . . then please refrain. For me, the place is a not comfortable at all. I can tell you that on the surface people are pretty polite. Having lived in the wealthiest places and also in poor places, I can tell you that ultimately people are generally the same internally, but money can allow people to go crazy with desires and material wants, which often leads to utter selfishness and excessive suffering for others as a result of extreme wasteful self-aggrandizement. Perhaps the biggest bummer about Palm Beach is all the people that come there looking for money - from attractive but often "overdone" women to guys trying to know me just because they think I have money. No, the Trumps are not traditional Palm Beach society, but what does that mean? It just seems that most people of extreme wealth are not truly compassionate no matter how many balls they go to. Usually they spend 10 times more (literally) on their evening gown than the ticket to the charitble ball. Still, I can tell you first hand, that I have seen money create ugly people out of formerly humble poor people too. There are many kind, low-key people in Palm Beach. Sure, some of these people seem to have some kind of inner complex about money which makes them live there. There are worse complexes though. The whole world is superficial, so just find the place where you fit in best. Palm Beach is a specific type of place. If you are very conservative, want a very safe place to live with a nice beach and great food, can handle waspy stuffiness or flagrant oppulence, or even worship or seek money, you'll feel wonderful there. I have met many kind wealthy people who naturally feel comfortable with a high police presence and people they can relate with. Everyone deserves their own place. i do wish however, these folks would do more to provide appealing places for others in the world to live in (as that is where the money comes from).
