What’s next for the Jupiter Island love nest Tiger Woods’ is building for his wife?

Golfer Tiger Woods started to assemble painstakingly land on Jupiter Island for his and wife Elin Nordegren’s tropical love nest just months after their 2004 wedding.

By late 2006, Woods had spent $44.5 million on four adjacent properties — in all 12 acres under a natural canopy stretching from the beach to the Intracoastal.

The couple renamed the property Sand Turtle.

Woods then had the existing homes leveled, and former nanny Nordegren dealt with Jupiter architect Roger Janssen for the blueprints. The Woods would have 9,729-square-feet of luxury adjacent to a 6,400-square-foot gym joined by a glass walkway.

By most standards in these parts, the construction (right) looks surprisingly staid and cold, sorta like a government building in Nordegren’s native Sweden.

Now, more than a year before it’s finished, work on what was designed to be Woods and his family’s homestead continues — despite the marital woes that have caused the golfer to quit the game temporarily.

His Thanksgiving accident morphed into days of allegations that Woods stepped out on his wife with a growing number of women, including at least two porn stars. And Nordegren reportedly left the couple’s home near Orlando, and just bought a $2 million-home on an island off Sweden.

So, what’s next for the Jupiter Island crib?

High-end Realtors in the area agree that, should Woods put the house on the market, he’d be lucky to get back 60 cents for each dollar he spent. And he spent quite a bit: at least a total of $55 million, so far.

“We just sold a landmark home on the beach in Palm Beach (ailing Tampa Bay Buccaneers owner Malcolm Glazer’s house) for $24 million,” said Realtor David Fite. “And that’s in Palm Beach. Now, on Jupiter Island? Not much is moving up there. It seems like he (Woods) paid a lot of the land. It was the height of the market.”

Waterfront Properties Rob Thomson, who specializes in Jupiter Island, said he’d advise Woods to divide the land into the original four if he were to sell.

“He needs to finish the construction first and foremost,” Thomson said. “Then sell the empty land. That way, he might recoup most of his money. He’s got prime property in a prime location in international high-end real estate.

“As far as what the house looks like, it’s going to be hard to find the right buyer. It could take several years.”

He has enough bedrooms, so each of his paramours can have their own room.

Love to see him sell and move away from here. All he needs is a one bedroom apartment.

Elin should split and go back to Sweden and get away from this monster who does not care for his family. Has lived a lie for many years.

I wonder if the Jupiter home has a Fire Hydrant by the driveway? if not, is there a way we can get one?

Sell it for a loss, Tiger will probably make it a tax writeoff anyhow

It’s a very nouveau riche, classless house, any way you look at it, and therefore, just right for Tiger.

If you have money most women will sleep w/you because they will “gitsome” in the end.
I’m sure these women are really emotionally hurt, let’s review thier past.

    1. What was his father like?
Men most frequently behave as their fathers do.
    2. Did he really believe he owed no loyalty or honor to his family?
    3. Same questions for the women.

Quitting golf would just further destroy him. Golf is his work, and job. No man can operate without a job. It is folly for him to quit the game.

He just has to figure a way to get the Ho train to this pad. Maybe boat em in.

Once a lie begins, it is hard to go back. Once the lie becomes a lifestyle, you get “Woodsy”.

To recover from his “Woodsy” lifestyle Tiger will have to isolate for a while and reguild his behavior from the ground-up.

We have all done something we are not proud of. Unfortunately, when the opportunity is larger, the folly is inevitably larger. In Tiger’s situation, he had very wide travles, a deep pocket, and a good reputation; the perfect invitation/opportunity to mess up big-time.

What he does NEXT will really define his character. It is what we do after we have screwed up that shows our true character and values. How will Tiger face the music…… and NO- I do not think what he did is okay or justifiable in any way!! I would like to see what he does next before I make a judgement.

Yuck! If that’s Elin’s taste in style, she’s better off dumped. The house looks like a bunch of cheap, pre-fab vacation rentals. In New Jersey.

Are we surprised from the country that gave us ABBA and Saab?

Tiger should finish it up and re-name it the ‘Whore-ery’, in honor of all the wannabe, dumb-as-a-rock, golddigging sluts that cling to Florida men like lint.

What a moot point this article makes. He is not going to sell this place. We might as well be discussing men walking on the Sun!

Taking an extended break from golf is a very smart move. Make the tour realize how much he means to their income and then see how many will be making negative comments about his personal life- that incudes all the sponsors too. Jack Nicklas has the right response-
    “it’s none of my business”.

Tigers’ a public figure/celebrity! What HE does…DOES influence young children who idolize him as a golfer. Young adults do look up to celebrities like it or not.

I feel bad for his wife, (unprotected sex with Porno chicks) and think she should take him for all she can.

Then she’ll have lots of $$$ for the kids.

If he had been living here already, who would he have picked up at Scooters?

Tiger allegedly made MOST of his money trading on his very PUBLIC IMAGE that he SOLD to SPONSORS.

His claim of allegedly needing PRIVACY for his family turned out to be an ENOURMOUS calculated lie.

Now there is little doubt he is a HUGE PHONY…a Fraud of a person when it comes to anything other than swinging a golf club.

In most people’s book he now scores a ZERO in the Character , Honesty and Values Dept.

He self-destructed himself by allegedly becoming just another Wilt Chamberlain celebrity seeing how many white women he could bang.

He should change his sponsorship focus now, from corportate to stuff like Cialisss or Kong or Trojan..KY, etc….that’s where his credibility as a performer lies now.

He ruined himself…..and this marriage, if it was not dead before …is dead now……..its not coming back.

They are planning another “Bad Boys’ movie in south Florida. Maybe they can blow the place up like they did with the Coca Cola Prez’s house in Delray Beach for BB2. That was a 16M house that was never completed. He got them to blow it up for the movie.

Its only money and Elin can push the button.

It’s just as ugly as his neighbor..Celine Dion…Money does not buy taste/class or apparently MORALS with either of them… Maybe he’s doing her too!! Lord knows she aint getting it at home..

Just shows you that having fame, a great job and a shit load of money, does not buy happiness. Hard for many people to imagine but if he was happy, he wouldn’t have done what he did. Not THINKING!

The quicker Elin can divorce her cheatin’ lying mistake of a husband, the more sypathy money she will be awarded. If she stays married and decides to leave him in two or three years the divorce settlement will be much less. What the hell! She could always re-marry him if they want to try and make it work. I say “go for the balls … oh sorry … i meant GOLD !!!
