Is millionaire jet-setter Ivana Trump being shown Palm Beacher’s courtesy after Delta Air Lines, local and federal authorities all declined to pursue criminal charges against the foul-mouthed socialite?
The 60-year-old Trump caused long delays for fellow passengers on a jet to New York City’s LaGuardia Airport on Saturday afternoon after she became what Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office deputies called “belligerent,” swore at children and caused the taxiing plane to return to the terminal.
She then refused several orders from deputies to leave her first-class seat. She relented and was escorted to her waiting chauffeur.
Delta officials, by the way, rescheduled her flight for Sunday.
So, at a time of security tightening in airports, why won’t she be prosecuted? Actually, she’s having a grand ole’ time.
“Ivana left a day late and flew to London today,” said her rep, Catherine Saxton. “If this wasn’t Ivana Trump, there would be no news. Besides, a lot of people who called her said they understand why she did it. Noisy children on a plane is a problem.
“Everything’s fine. Life goes on.”
Actually, Saxton said, the former wife of developer Donald Trump is negotiating a contract to star in a British reality TV show.

“The matter was resolved at the counter,” said airline spokeswoman Susan Elliott.

“I can’t say. I can’t even confirm she was a passenger.”
So, anyone can get up from one’s seat on a crowded flight and lob four-letter bombs in all impunity? And this, a day after another Delta flight was hit by a terrorist?
“Well, this is handled case by case,” a snippy Elliott said.
PBSO deputies, meanwhile, say they handled the incident without any consideration for the identity of the unruly passenger.
“Delta didn’t ask to prosecute,” said PBSO spokeswoman Teri Barbera. “It’s not like she put her hands on anyone. It’s not battery. We did exactly what we would have done with anyone else.”
And that included referring the matter to the FBI. The feds didn’t seem interested.

This is typical of socialites getting favored treatment. I guarantee if anyone else cursed at a law enforcement officer, especially on an airplane, they’d be spending the night in jail, with a hefty fine and plenty of community service. Let’s look at the others involved in her tantrum. She made everyone else 2 hours late, so many likely missed connections and possibly appointments that were far more important than her throwing a fit. Not to mention air traffic control, causing distress to the children, passengers and flight crew. There’s a proper name for a woman that acts as she did.

The parents and the children should have been removed immediately as their behavior on the ground was a precursor to what was yet to come on the 3 hour flight.

This should be a no brainer for PBSO ……..Florida Statute Section 877.03, Breach of Peace, aggravated by the fact the other passengers including young children were unable to avoid Ivana’s obscene tirade and likewise - a no brainer for the Feds, 49 U.S.C. Section 46504 which is the federal law prohibiting interference with a flight crew including the attendant’s.

I was on the flight. We had been delayed for a while prior to her outburst. There were a 2 small children seated in the rows behind her. Chidren were not misbehaving and they were not running in the aisle. Much has been said about kids behaving badly on airplanes. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE ON THIS FLIGHT. As we taxied to the runway, the baby behind her cried. Next thing we know there is a commotion in first class and the pilot informs us we are returning to the gate. He attempted to get her to leave the plane. NO. PBSO arrived, again NO. Feds were called and eventually they removed her from the plane. To the mom who complained that her young daughter or anyone else should not have to listen to that foul mouthed witch, good for you! As for Delta not being able to confirm she was a passanger on the flight, thats because it took your staff almost a half hour to remove her name from the Computer manifest. We couldn’t leave until they did. Our flight that should have left at 1:20 didn’t take off until after 3:30.
This woman delayed air traffic. I wonder how many people missed their connecting flights because she threw a hissy fit. If I would have been me I would be in Jail AGAIN!

I was almost arrested for not moving my car as someone I was waiting for came out of the doors by baggage claim at 7:00 AM on a Sunday morning when no one was there! I have raised 4 children who, while not perfect, were generally well behaved, especially when to do otherwise was disrespectfull to others. And no, they were not hit or otherwised abused.
First rule of raising well-behaved children: you get what you expect. Second rule: give a damn. Third rule: no sugar junk food or drinks.
My wife teaches 2nd grade and she does not allow sugary foods into the classroom and convinced parents to not serve it for breakfast. As a result her pupils are the most wellbehaved in the entire school with zero discipline problems. Every year the parents get so ecstatic, they throw out all their junk food.

Answer; they were not. If any of you hillbillies had ever flown you would know that when you load a plane the program is get seated ASAP. Tray table up, luggage stowed, bins closed, electronics off, seat belt on, seat back up, before the plane leaves the gate to taxi. If there were anybody up in the aisles the whole program is stopped for that person.
This plane was stopped during taxi because this ugly bitch could not STFU and had to return to the gate for her period.

She was trespassing and refused a sheriffs deputy’s demand to exit the plane. She should have been arrested for something like trespass and/or resisting arrest without violence. Se was carried off the plane, after all, right?
