EXCLUSIVE: Dad of Kournikova kid wants custody after mom’s arrest

The Slavic blue-blood who is the biological father of Allan — the 5-year-old whose mom Alla Kournikova was charged after leaving him home alone yesterday in Palm Beach — said he’ll now fight for custody of the perfect-looking child.

Baron Michael Moog De Medici, a composer and instrumentalist who splits time between Palm Beach and Europe, said ex-girlfriend Alla has prevented him from seeing their son for nearly three years.

And since the Rolls-driving De Medici says he doesn’t have the kind of money he once had — about $5 million in 2005, according to court records — he said he hasn’t been able to take the matter to court.

Now, he will.

He is scheduled to meet with local Department of Children and Families officials today to discuss the matter, De Medici told Page2Live in an exclusive interview.

DCF released Allan to unidentified relatives after he was treated at an area hospital for minor injuries suffered when he either fell, or jumped, out the window of Alla’s $2.2 million home on Seabreeze. (Get a bird’s eye view of the home here.)

Allan is the half-brother of retired tenniswoman and sexy K-Swiss pitchwoman Anna Kournikova, the Miami Beach media darling who’s also known for her love-match with Latin crooner Enrique Iglesias.

Neighbors of the wannabe socialite Alla found the child, who speaks three languages, wet and bruised after the fall, and walking on the street near his home. Allan told neighbors he went into the pool because his feet hurt after he left the house.

Russian expat Alla, 46, is accused of leaving the child alone with a cellphone as she went out to run errands for about an hour. She was arrested and charged with child neglect. She paid her $3,000 bail and was released shortly after 9 p.m. yesterday.

“I have no idea where my child is right now,” the heavily accented baron De Medici said late last night. “I just heard from friends who watched television that Allan was hurt. I don’t know how badly. I don’t know which hospital he is at. I’m very concerned.

“I am an attentive and warm father. But there were constant threats from Alla. So, I just shut up. But she can’t take care of my son. That’s pretty obvious.”

De Medici lived with Alla Kournikova in 2004-05, as she carried and delivered Allan.

“I have no idea why she even had him,” De Medici said. “She’d say she liked having a child because it made her look younger.

“I wanted to marry her and keep the family together but Alla never wanted to. She kept telling me I wasn’t good enough for her.

“She’d say: ‘Why can’t you be rich like Donald Trump or (Palm Beach billionaire) Bill Koch?’”

De Medici moved on after breaking up with Kournikova in early 2006. He has another young boy from a previous relationship. Incidentally, De Medici’s current girlfriend gave birth to another Moog son in West Palm Beach Tuesday — hours before Allan was taken to the hospital.

De Medici said there’s no doubt Kournikova is “an unfit, uncaring mother” who spends more time playing tennis and attending society functions than caring for Allan.

“What she cares about is her place in society,” De Medici said. “She’s very unhappy and publicity-hungry. And I’ve been told by friends that she routinely leaves Allan unattended.”

A year ago Kournikova, who’s usually unavailable to the press, showed off Allan for a Palm Beach Daily News article. When the boy was 4, she proudly told the reporter, Allan was taking one-on-one lessons in three sports: tennis, golf and show jumping. Alla described how she put a tennis racket into the hands of daughter Anna, now 28, when she turned 5.

“I don’t want (Allan) to be a professional athlete,” Alla said. “But if he wants to do it, he’ll do it.”

“Sometimes, I fall off the horse,” Allan said at the time. “But I just get back up.”

Alla Kournikova, who named the boy after her, did not return calls.

What fool leaves a 5 year old at home alone. She’s an idiot!

she needs to lose custody for the child safety, she’s clearly not a fit parent.

I blame the kid, i am sure Alla took her time, told her 5 year old the rules and wrote the rules down for him. When is this child going to start to take responsibility for his own actions? I applaud this mom for trying to teach her child responsibility at an early age.

Both these characters are the laughing stock of Palm Beach. They are both gold digging social climbers - neither have made any money in their own right or have had any success on their own. She has everything from her daughtor who she sued a few yearas back so she could buy the PB house, and Moog married an 88 year old when he was 26 to get his millions that are now blown through. I feel sorry for the young kids involved in this.

I’d like to know what makes this child “perfect-looking”. Is it the blond hair and blue eyes? When he grows up and takes on more of his father’s darker features (like his half-brother), will he still be perfect looking? Get a grip.

“She wants to look younger by having a child”? This woman is plain dumb- nothing ages you faster than having children. If she can afford the fast track in PB, she can afford a babysitter. The Father needs to get custody of this child and then SHE can pay support even if she’s too stupid to pay attention.

This woman is an idiot!!! Whatever would possess her to leave a child home alone? She needs to get a grip on herself, grow up and take proper care of her child!

Does anyone recall a few years ago another Palm Beach mother that left a toddler home alone to go buy a friend some luggage during the child’s nap. As I recall, he woke up, got out of the crib, out of the house, and drown in the family pool. Just because you have the physical ability to be a parent doesn’t mean you should be one.

Sylvia, do you know satire when you see it? I am pretty sure Steven’s comments were in the vein of Jonathan Swift’s “Modest Proposal” And yes, this child could have died from the fall, had he landed on his head instead of his feet. Leaving a kid that young unattended was just plain selfish and stupid. I doubt she’ll be able to retain custody after this.

Alla is your typical Russian gold digger who even prostituted out her own daughtor getting by her in all those sexy ads when she was still underage. I can see her being the next Roxanne Pulitizer type outcast in town. She clearly uses everyone she can to get into the clubs, and charity events. I think she even used that DeMedici guy - no one even saw her before she started showing up at Cafe L’Europe with him. Then she conned her daughtor into buying her that house. Then she got pregnant. Then she found out DeMedici was a hanger on like she was. As they say what comes around goes around!

I think this is a sad story for Alla and hope the boy isn’t hurt more. With all this money it is hard to keep eyes on the things that matter. However, things will turn around I think for everyone and most of all I hope for the little boy. Let it be a lesson to the mother not to leave her son alone and if she can’t take proper care of him to give him to someone who can.

No matter who the peole are, I can’t believe every mother out there doesn’t think to herself, “wow, there but for the grace of God go I”. When you have a five year old who doesn’t want to go run errands, is contently playing video games, watching a movie or sleeping, every mom starts thinking about how fast they can make it out to the grocery store and back without the kid even moving. We could go and be bck before we could even call a sitter. Granted, most of us never go, we drag the reluctant child with us, or wait for a better time, but all parents are tempted. Forget her fame and fairs, she’s just the mother of a five year old.

I hope she lands in jail. It will serve her right for all the pain she inflicted on those closest to her. Suing her daughter and constant fights for more money, cutting the father out of this childs life, abandoming her husband in Russia, and shamless social climbing using other ladies to get into functions etc. This woman is bad news. Time behind bars will set her straight!
