Sting to perform exclusive show in Palm Beach

The Everglades Foundation has attracted A-listers to its yearly gala, but the featured entertainer for its Feb. 12 fiesta at The Breakers may be the biggest star yet.

Page2Live has learned that Sting, frontman of The Police, will perform an exclusive concert at the Palm Beach party.

The musician/singer of rock classics such as Roxanne and Message in a Bottle must feel a kinship to the Everglades Foundation, which is trying to save and restore the giant swamp. Sting, 58, founded a similar organization that’s been trying to save South American rain forests.

Former tennis bad boy John McEnroe will also make a rare Palm Beach appearance for the occasion, as master of ceremonies.

Tickets, which include access to the cocktail hour and dinner, are going on sale for $1,000 each. Check it out here.

Yeah, Sting and Trudie are real advocates of saving the world, when they fly on their own private jet across the country.

Wanna bet Sting is being flown in on someone’s jet, being put up at the Breakers, all expenses paid, plus his normal gig cost.

Yeah, Sting’s a real advocate…for the comforts of excess while spouting off how we should live and what we should do.

    Hypocrite!

    Dear Obe One,
Of course you can still fly in a private jet and support conservation. People with money help support these causes in more ways than one. (technically speaking….If you drive a car to work and support conservation then you too, may be a hypocrite….BUT I do not believe you are.)
