what a great justice system we have in PBC my son who is 21 has a drug problem.We live in Wellington and are not rich.He opened a car door and took a gps yes this is crime and he should pay.after being high during his arrest and forced to confess to other crimes he is charged with 13 felonys.he was origanly arrested for 1 felony.Great job wellington PBSO!You closed cases he wasn’t involived in.His total restution not including court cost was $125.00 he didn’t murder anyone with a car.He has spent 14mths of his young life in county jail!
He needed drug help..which of course the county doesn’t have due to budget cuts from PBSO!Now Mr. Goodman was arrested as stated in the news what they didn’t mention was he was detained for only 4hrs in the county jail and has not even been to trail as of 14mths later!Wouldn’t it be nice if we all got this treatment when we are arrested and commited a crime?Which law enforcement or Politican got there hand greased to pro long this trial!Let’s have justice for all not just the rich!Our heart goes out to the Wilson family!There son might have been saved if Mr.Goodman called 911.He chose to run! His day will come when he meets is maker! And I hope Scott wilson is there to hand him his sentence eternity in hell!

Please god, hold all those who have been hurt here in your hands.
I pray investigation will reveal enough to hold accountable.
DO NOT DRIVE after midnight unless absolutely necessary. Your chances of being involved in a drunk driving or sleep deprived state crash are greatly increased.
Please hold judgement until the facts come out.
We don’t know yet if both vehicles had their headlights on, or if Mr. Goodman was knocked silly and had this as excuse for his behavior…
Most likely though, considering his ex made previous pleas and allegations on behalf of her children, that these children also are victims and it is likely sheer luck they remain alive.
Statistics show that such allegations by mothers in cases of Domestic Violence are rarely fabricated. Sadly, statistics also show that the perpetrators are allowed access to continue their abuse in this current legal system since it is based on reducing child support for fathers by giving them more custody, as long as the children have remained alive, regardless of their pleas.
If the trail of investigation is followed, this driver may be linked to other vehicles that were run off the road; at his age, he has likely harmed many by now…
I hope time and effort will be devoted to holding the guilty accountable, for all our sakes.
Dear god please touch the hearts of the Wilson family with forgiveness. Please turn hearts away from this drinking and drug culture that exists in the USA and the stigma against help for mental health, where our young are encouraged to turn to drugs and alcohol rather than a doctor’s care for depression, and thus begins down the road to destruction.

While Mr Goodman may have driven under the influence, (just as many of us, unfortunately have) the similarity stops there. To flee the scene, leaving the driver of the car he just t-boned to drown, is beyond reprehensible. Apparently, Goodman was so self-centered that he couldn’t take a moment to help his victim out of a watery grave. Or dial 911 from his cell, for that matter. Mr. Goodman’s money may buy him many things.A peaceful night’s sleep without waking in a cold sweat from re-living that night, over and over, will not be one of them. Goodnight, John Goodman.

Goodman will most likely not bet truthful with police, which will add to his pending charges. Others that may lie for Goodman, will also have their own serious legal problems(not worth it). Like where and what was Goodman doing that night and who was with him? This guy needs to get honest and sober!

Of course he wasnt charged.. if he had been.. speedy trail would have began.. as long as they dont charge him immediately, they can do a very thorough investigation and have all their cards in order.. the minute he is arrested.. the clock starts ticking… and toxicology takes WEEKS to get back… why, on a case which involves death, would ANY officer or attorney want to rely on breathalizer, which would can only estimate blood alcohol content when the law allows a forced blood draw from a DUI suspect.. and not only see how much alcohol was in his body, but drugs too.

The problem with you ON THE PLANE.. is that youre too far in the clouds to understand how the law works. Youre simply ignorant to the way it works…

When someone is involved in a DUI crash involving death… the case becomes VERY complex.

I just read an article in the paper about the cornerback for the Miami Dolphins that was stopped for DWI,A test for alohol was administered at bthe scene and the results were published in this article,Even if John Goodman had his test administered at the hospital why were the results not published?It seems that if drugs and alcohol were not a factor in this accident he would want people to know this and end the speculation instead of stone walling
