Ozzy Osbourne’s crazy train stops in PB Gardens

Alert! Heavy metal superstar Ozzy Osbourne is expected in Palm Beach Gardens Friday, but there shouldn’t be anything too weird going on. He’ll sign copies of his best-selling autobiography, I am Ozzy.

If all goes well, if he doesn’t get lost, the star of the MTV reality show The Osbournes will be his unintelligible self with fans starting at 6 p.m. at the Barnes & Nobel at Legacy Place.

The tome already sits at No. 4 on the New York Times best-sellers list.

“He’s been good for the book business,” said spokeswoman Lauren Pfretzschner, preparing for the biggest even in the store’s three-year history.

Pfretzschner said fans must buy Ozzy’s $26.99-book first, get a wrist band then wait in line. Osbourne will be signing for as long as there are books available, or as long as he can physically stand it, whichever comes first.

According to reviews, the most amazing about the hardcover is that Osbourne came out of more than 40 years in rock’n'roll in a decent enough shape to dump his anecdotes on paper, through a ghost writer of course. Be warned: Sharon Osbourne’s hubby is big on stories about bodily functions, usually his own.

    Not sure…but I heard something on 103.1 saying that he would also be on the Downtown WPB waterfront tomorrow.

    103.1 The Buzz will be hosting Ozzy Gras at Downtown WPB where Mayor Frankel will be presenting Ozzy with the key to the city! Be there @ 4:30PM. Centennial Park!

    I need to explain how LOPER, SMITTY, & RANDI started this CRAZYTRAIN called OZZY GRAS. We started the movement 3 days ago on our Morning show ( http://www.morningbuzz103.com ). We heard he was coming to town and nobody was giving him the welcome we thought he deserved. We all need to thank Jeremy Loper for getting in touch with OZZY’s camp and having THE PRINCE OF DARKNESS appear at the WPB WATERFRONT today. It kicks off at 4:00PM and OZZY WILL BE THERE with 103.1 THE BUZZ
