West Palm Beach lawyer Eddie Stephens filmed his two young sons’ trip to see heavy metal heavy Ozzy Osbourne Friday night at the Barnes & Noble at Legacy Place, in Palm Beach Gardens. Cuties Christopher, 10, and Matthew, 7, pupils at the Ideal Elementary in Royal Palm Beach braved throngs of fans, had their dad buy $55 worth of Ozzy books and waited in line for about 45 minutes to meet the singer of Crazy Train. I’m told the kids love the pictures in I Am Ozzy, but had their dad explain some of the more obscure terms that The Prince of Darkness writes about. Like “mooning,” for example. “I’m approaching the book with them like a morality tale,” Stephens said. “I explained to them that Ozzy was on the wrong path with alcohol and drugs, but that he straightened himself out and became a good man.”

More Obama voters still drinking the koolaid. Who else could be sucker’d into buying dribble from a brain dead hack.

We’ll see this guys two kids in the legal system in a few years.

Copyright infringement for using Black Sabbath’s music without Ozzy’s permission is NOT a good lesson for these youngsters. I agree with “pat” about seeing them in the legal sytem in a few years. Selfish Daddy only wanted this experience for himself! Hope he’s better at being a Lawyer than being a Role Model/Parent.

And again, Palm Beach County shows it’s true colors by leaving negative comments.

Mr. Stephens represented me and is a great attorney and I consider him to be a good friend as well.

He is a cubmaster for his kid’s scout troop and does more for the Palm Beach community then most.

While anyone’s children might be end up in the legal system, fortunately, they have a skillful father to get them out of it! :-)

Just because you don’t have the same skills as Mr. Stephens should not cause you to wish ill upon his family. For that matter, I can’t imagine why anyone would wish ill upon any child. Just think of the bad karma that brings.

So sit at your computer and spread hate and live in the miserable life you created for yourself.

Eddie, I am proud of you… way to be an involved Dad!

    Go Eddie! You rock!

  9. Comment by Ozzy Osbourne — February 27, 2010 @ 4:38 pm

Maybe it’s not too late, to learn how to love, and forget how to hate.

  20. Comment by Nichole — February 27, 2010 @ 7:12 pm

Why do people have to be so negative? This man was spending time with his children who obviously know who Ozzy is…..go going dad for taking the time to this this for your kids!!

  21. Comment by Karen — February 27, 2010 @ 7:22 pm

Whoever filmed this is a great dad!

p.s. Ozzy looks pretty tired, wonder how many books he had to sign that night!

  22. Comment by Don — February 27, 2010 @ 7:25 pm

Those kids are really the cutest kids I have ever seen! Plus they have good taste in music!

  23. Comment by DAN — February 27, 2010 @ 7:54 pm

While those brainiacs who wrote the negative comments are thinking up ways to put others down so they will feel better about their pathetic lives, Eddie spends time with his adorable boys, gives up his time and energy to charities and organizations, and works his butt off to be a great attorney. And it’s encouraging to see that some parents are not afraid to broach the subjects of alcohol and drug abuse with their children. Eddie is, and will continue to be, an excellent father.

5tephens is a divorce attorney who represented my wife and did a good job. Too good of job. Wish I had hires him first.

Awesome video, I’m sure you guys loved that! Pat and meow up there, with their negativity, clearly haven’t thought through the impact their comments might have on 2 kids excited to see their video on a news website.

I used to teach at Pleasant City Elementary where Mr. Stephens volunteered every week reading to my second grade class. His actions were selfless and inspirational. Mr. Stephens was not only a role model to my class, but he served as a pretty good one for me as well.

Cool video, but what’s all the fuss about?

  28. Comment by Mark — February 28, 2010 @ 7:14 am

Ozzy was cool back in the day. But now is just a sad remnant of his old self.

  29. Comment by Big Jim — February 28, 2010 @ 10:39 am

    Meh.
Not one to get star struck.
The video was a waste of 3 minutes.
The kids didn’t even have anything to say or ask so Ozzy just signed and moved on.

Put me in the negative column I guess.
I tell it like it is.

  30. Comment by Jim — March 1, 2010 @ 11:47 am

A great event. Ozzy didn’t have time to talk AND make sure that “everybody” got a signature. A good read also. Nice to see that Pat and Meow could take time out of their pathtic life of punching kitty cats to give us some of their own brand of brainless drivel. Just remember everybody that without people like Pat and Meow we wouldn’t know what being a putz sounds like. I thank them.

That looks like a good time. Very cool to see parents teach their children about art. Ozzy certainly is a colorful subject!
