Of all the celebs who hitched their fame to then-presidential candidate Barack Obama in 2008, few worked harder than actor Matt Damon (The Bourne Identity, Green Zone). Damon, 39, popped up all over South Florida in the few weeks leading to the historic election, including in West Palm Beach.

Well, this is 2010, and Damon says he is “disappointed” with Obama.

“Politics is compromise,” Damon told the New York Daily News. “I’m disappointed in the health care plan and the troop buildup in Afghanistan. Everyone feels a little let down because, on some level, people expected all their problems to go away. But real change comes from everyday people. You can’t wait for a leader.”

Do you agree with Jason Bourne?

Our system is broken. And Barack is just the president. Not some superhero we all need today. I think it is time we use our technology. To give us the everyday people more power in OUR country. The only way to fix OUR broken government is for us to break down the power points in it. Health care? Let us vote! More troops for the never-ending war? Let us vote! Cutting unemployment? Let us vote! Banks ruling us? Let us vote! Imports killing our jobs? Let us vote! Signing agreements with the WTO? Let us vote!! Turns us into superheroes! LET US VOTE!!!!

How is Matt Damon saying that Obama cannot single-handedly rid us of all of our problems (i.e. he’s not superhuman) the same as saying that Damon is disappointed or disillusioned in the President himself? Seems like a stretch.

Huh? Damon is disappointed with Obama? LOL…what did he expect? Did he really expect Obama to full-fill all his empty promises? Come on Matt. Politicians are owned by the bankers, Multi-nats, and the Military Industrial complex. Please, wake up and smell the roses.

Good for Matt for speaking up about it and not just pretending what he endorsed Obama for was in order…it takes courage to be in the public eye and speak up negatively about something you supported, especially when it is the leader of the free world.

Matt Damon is just another pos liberal who doesn’t understand that there are people in the world who want to hurt us. Liberals never seem to remeber history. I am sure little matti would never have wanted us to stop Hitler cause “it was not our business”. The jihadist are ten times worse than Hitler and lib’s just do not see it. B. Hussein Obama was NOT qualified to be POTUS. He was a two term state senator who only won his US Senate seat because the incumbent got exposed as a sexual defiant in a messy divorce. He spent two years in the US Sentate and then got Potamac fever and ran for President. NO EXPERIENCE.What a joke!!! Now he goes around the world an apologizes for the USA and bows to kings and emperors. WE ARE DOOMED and liberals are dooming us!!!

Put your head between your knees and kiss it all goodbye.

Who cares? The guy’s a actor, a media hog.

Ask the guy on the street, who cares what Sean Penn, Alex Baldwin and other creeps who can’t hold a regular job think.

They are extremists in their views. They don’t deserve any more column space than any other American citizens.

They are performers. And Damon is performing.

This is what Obama said about America: “dismissive, derisive and arrogant”. He preach that in front of europeans. Obama is an undeserving clown.

What other country in this world has elected a self-declared black man for high office?

Where’s the black french president? The black english prime minister? The black chancellor of Germany? The black Israeli prime minister? NO WHERE!

And there is NOT EVEN anyone waiting in the wings to ascend to those foreign countries’ leadership.

Only in America…and Obama denigrates this great country. Vote him out in 2012 and vote out democrats in 2010…which will oust Nancy Pelosi.

You are totally ridiculous. Your entire comment is exactly whats wrong with America. Obama stated the truth when he said Americans are dismissive, derisive and arrogant and you are proving that with your comment. If you believe the hype America is a trend setter, 1ST Black President, you should be proud. But obviously that isnt something you’d be proud of. Soon as you realize there is no difference between a Republican and a Democrat the sooner you’ll be on board with the 21st Century. Well, in your case, maybe not.

Why does it matter what this guy thinks?

One understands that modern life seems to be not very cheap, but some people require money for various things and not every one earns enough cash. Therefore to receive fast loan and small business loan should be a right solution.
