Could it be that there was a car malfunction that caused mr.goodman to accelerate when he was trying to brake?

Did Mr.goodman drink at the persons house after calling 911 as a pain releiver?

I doubt it, otherwise you probably wouldn’t be here casting stones and judging others and warning them about the fires of hell.

And talk about bearing false witness - You don’t know what happened that night. How do you know Goodman didn’t pass out at the wheel like is being said now and he did not even realize he hit that kid? The other car went into the canal and maybe Goodman didn’t even know it had happened. Maybe he thought someone hit him and took off or something. You don’t know! But you are claiming he left Scott there to drown, knowingly. What proof do you have of that?

I am not in any way making excuses for someone getting so bombed he passes out whatsoever if that is the case here. But you need to stop assuming things that have not been proven AT ALL about Goodman knowingly leaving Scott to drown and preaching at everyone like you are a superior being. I simply have no patience with someone showing up quoting convenient portions of the Bible and ignoring their own stink like you are doing. You are the one bearing false witness by pretending to know things you don’t! Judging someone as guilty when you don’t know ANY FACTS and casting stones at people for having a different opinion.

You are misleading yourself. Those people saying that they would have jumped in the canal to save Scott, would have jumped in to try to save Scott.

Your opinion is that one in a million people would have done so! How would you feel if you, or one of yours, was drowning in that canal, and commenter #86 saved your life?

The driver of the black Bentley illegally ran the stop sign while driving at a high rate of speed, crashed into Scott’s Hyundai, then left Scott to drown.

According to the Ten Commandments authored by God, one of those commandments states “Thou shall not kill” and another states “Thou shall not bear false witness”.

Mr. Goodman, if you are reading this, it’s time to admit the truth and accept responsibility for your actions, otherwise your alternative would be to spend eternity in Hell.

My point was that the people posting here claiming they would have made some heroic rescue attempt that night are full of it. One in a million people would actually do what so many here are claiming they would have done. It is easy to sit back behind your computer saying you would have done this, or you would have done that … but the truth is no one knows until confronted with the actual situation.

Pointing this fact out is not making excuses for Goodman. Understand?

Really, if you don’t like the comments and discussion going on in this blog and you can’t control your emotions any better than this, I suggest you find something else to do with your time. Something constructive. Stop spreading hate and venom. But don’t do it for my sake, do it for your own. It must be awful to be such a bitter, angry, hostile person.
