Exline

Disgraced former West Palm Beach City Commissioner Jim Exline this week filed a lawsuit against a woman who caused a chain collision in Lake Worth last year, ultimately injuring him.

I’m told the woman’s insurance company, State Farm, wants to pay Exline $6,500 for the medical bills that resulted from the June crash. Exline’s bills are at least five times higher, and counting. So he sued.

Exline, 45, made news in 2007 when he resigned his seat and pleaded guilty to tax evasion. He was sent to a federal prison camp near Atlanta for 10 months.

Although he wouldn’t comment about the accident or the lawsuit, Exline, an urban planner by trade, says he has been struggling since he rejoined society in April 2008.

“There’s absolutely no planning going on out there,” he said today. “I’m just waiting it out, like a lot of people. I’m a planner. That’s what I do. I don’t know anything else.”

And he’s still nursing the injuries that occurred near downtown Lake Worth, when a Hyundai plowed into another car, which then hit Exline’s Jaguar.

For more, and a great poll, look below or click

Exline suffered spinal boo-boos, two herniated and two bulging discs, numbness in his arms and hands. According to the lawsuit, the injuries are permanent.

Exline’s political fall was a byproduct of federal probes into political corruption. He was nailed for not reporting to the IRS a $50,000 payment for work he’d done for developer John Sansbury.

What's worse?

Uhhhhhhh, character evaluations before taking office……I think it’s called an election you jackwipe. People don’t vote and don’t participate.

Exline should use Michael Gelfand to help him since Gelfand has most of the judges of the 15th District in his pocket. Hey IRS - how are you doing for those tax cheat judges collecting bribes and not reporting it on their taxes?

Florida has so many financial problems and everyone is suffering here because of the corrupt politicians, corrupt judges, and corrupt lawyers here. What is going to happen to all the poor people there?

Take the corrupt officials from office and help yourself. You wait and see how much money Exline will make on this lawsuit. It will be FIXED as usual.

There is a lot of planning going on at the moment. Planning on more foreclosures, layoffs, and taxes.

I like Larry’s comment. Why can’t we analyze the character of these people before we put them into power?!

    Thanks for pointing out Jose.

But no one has any sympathy for any of our Corrupt/FreeLoading/Double Dipping/Ambulance chasing attys / politicians / judges in this town.

None of them know how to work a real job, create jobs, make a payroll…be productive in the community.

They only pretend to be community minded….they are just paratsites.

    Unredeemable.

Hey, IRS. Why don’t you audit me? I’m a scumbucket, too.

  9. Comment by Juggalo — March 11, 2010 @ 7:27 pm

Because planning is not a real job it is a scam, find a profession that actually produces something and quit trying to live a scam.

Hello Jose. I agree with Commissioner Jim’s decision of suing that woman. She should have talked to him appropriately reagading his medical bills so as to avoid this conflicts.

Hi Jose. I like the fluidity of this blog. Well, some insurance officers are really not that reliable especially in terms of big amounts of money. Too bad.
