Jupiter richie rich Peter DeGeorge made news lately because he and his brother are suing each other over their dead father’s $200 million-fortune.
But that battle may not be Peter’s only problem.
DeGeorge, 63, was arrested at the Ritz-Carlton in Miami Beach after a nasty fight with his fetching ex-wife Traci, 44.
The two, by the way, are engaged to be remarried! Their split in a Palm Beach County court was final two years ago.
Telling cops “my lawyer is Roy Black,” DeGeorge was hauled off to jail two weeks ago and charged with battery, according to Miami-Dade County records.
Traci told Miami Beach cops summoned to their suite that she saw text-messages between Peter and an ex-girlfriend on his cell phone. That led to an argument.

Traci admitted to throwing the phone at Peter, according to the police report. But then, as she was packing her suitcase to leave, she said Peter tackled her twice, threatened to kill her twice, choked her and yanked a watch he’d gifted her off her wrist.
She ran out of the room wearing only a bathrobe to call cops. Officers reported seeing bruises about Traci’s neck and wrist, and noted that the room was in disarray.
Peter DeGeorge didn’t return phone calls to his $4 million-Jonathan’s Landing home. Traci didn’t respond to a request for an interview. But Peter’s lawyer at the high-profile Black’s lawfirm, Larry Stumpf, said: “We expect the matter to be resolved satisfactorily in the near future.”
Peter is a member of one of the most visible philanthropic families in the area. Peter’s dad, Lawrence DeGeorge, who died last year at 88, and mom Florence, were permanent fixtures on the Palm Beach do-gooder circuit.They donated millions made from the manufacturing of TV cable to causes like the Boys & Girls Club.
But since the patriarch’s death, Peter and his brother, Lawrence Jr., have traded lawsuits over the estate, which includes toys like a $26 million-jet.
Over the years, Peter has been a generous donor to after-school programs all over the north county and has been volunteering as football coach. He started the now-defunct Riviera Beach Youth Football League.
Peter was arrested in connection with a similar domestic violence incident involving Traci in 2006, according to Palm Beach County records. Prosecutors never filed charges and DeGeorge ended up in anger management school.
Traci….get a life. What did you expect? These richies dont care anything about you its all a huge game for them and they are always on the hunt. The author mentioned this has happened before, yet she continues to keep going back to the “alleged women beater”, and its interesting she threw the phone at him first, and for that matter why was she invading his privacy. If you read the actual police report it mentions that she ran through the hall naked, yet they found her robe in the hall. Sounds like a setup to me.

For those of you that follow the press. Ms. DeGeorge’s son Storm was arrested on charges of attempted rape of a male classmate at Jupiter High School last year. I guess he learned this violence from these two stellar parent role models!

Mr DeGeorge provided nothing but opportunity for many many young boys ….in Riviera Beach he fought against a corupt city council …he help boys stay in school and graduate several went on to college and some to the NFL…he never was thrown out of Riveria Beach…..he had the guts to come down here every night and help the kids…the kids loved him and it was not becasue of his money

p.s. if i was 44 years old and could live the life of a 22 year old i would too. she doesnt have to sit home and wipe asses and change diapers. with 3 grown kids why not go out and spend time with them and her friends at bars, clubs and what not. id rather say my mom came out to the club,looked good and had fun with me instead of saying that my parent sat at home like a pathetic loser commenting on issues on the computer all day that involve other peoples lives but their own.

it seems Peter Degeorge has been arrested several times for domestic violence and beating his kids over the last 25 years. Peter’s first wife Mary called the police several times because he was violent towards her in states of CT & FL and in divorce records Mary claims that Peter was abusive with thier kids.The police were called to Peter Degeorge’s palm beach gardens office last year to settle a dipisute that Peter had with his two sons Pete jr & Michael; Peter claims that Pete jr pulled a GUN on him and threatened to SHOOT him. Pete jr & Michael claim that thier dad threatened junior’s life first and he pulled the GUN in self defense.Ladies arm yourself with a firearm if you are anywhere near these Degeorge men
Peter & his posse came into Jupiter Youth Sports with the plan of taking it over, thanks to some real business minded people this didn’t happen. Unfortunaly good people left or were run out of JTAA due to his BS.
He & Traci would pay players on his team to score TD’s, interceptions, etc.. These were young kids walking around with $20, $50, & $100.00 bills nice “Role Models”. Now all those kids have been in trouble in school or with the law, even his stepson. Now Traci’s daughter is dating a FL Marlins pitcher, no wonder he can’t throw strikes!
Best way to get a kid to run for the end zone is to tape a $100 bill to the goal post.
Peter Degeorge got kicked out and banned from JTAA lacrosse for starting fights in front of 10 year old children and pushing an old man. Peter Degeorge verbally attacked and threatened the director of the youth lacrosse league who was a woman.Tracy is a victim of abuse and Peter has been able pay police off with big time lawyers like Roy Black and get away with it. Peter Degeorge needs to be behind bars before Tracy is another deceased victim like Nicole Brown Simpson.

I think every family has thier own problems and the way they handle them is thier business. My personal experience with this family has been a pleasant one. Don’t get me wrong we had our share of disagreements, but we always worked it out. In 2004 my family suffered a great lost,and without the assistance of the DeGeorge family, I don’t know what would have happen. Therefore, my prayers go out to Peter and his family, I hope they can iron it out.
