A flight attendant on a private jet carrying salsero Marc Anthony and his wife, singer/actress Jennifer Lopez, was attacked by the couple’s guard dog in flight because she was carrying eating utensils to their table.

So the flight attendant, Lisa Wilson, is suing the couple in a Brooklyn, N.Y., court over the 2006 attack in a Gulfstream jet. Wilson says the snarling dog lunged and head-butted her, causing her to fall and injure her back.

For her pain and suffering, she is demanding $5 million.

According to the New York Daily News, the German shepherd, Floyd, received military-style training and has a thing for sharp objects being handled near the Dolphins’ minority owner Anthony. According to the court documents, the glamorous couple’s personal chef also has been harassed by the pooch.

An animal behavior expert hired by Wilson’s legal team said the dog is dangerous and the famous couple knew it. Early in the flight, Anthony warned Wilson not to look at Floyd in the eyes and call his name when she wanted to pass by.

“The dog was obviously dangerous and we will prove at trial that it was only a matter of time before he hurt someone,” Wilson’s lawyer, William Cafaro, told the News.

It wasn’t so long ago, Miami resident Cynthia Rodriguez only had to look across the breakfast table for her daily dose of eye candy. She was married to New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez.

But then, along came Madonna, and the SoFla lovebirds were divorced. Both A-Rod and C-Rod have moved on. Alex is playing house with starlet Kate Hudson. And Cynthia took out her new main man, whose id is still unknown, for a stroll in Miami Beach the other day. Did she upgrade? Look below to find out and vote, or click (Read more…)

– Believe it or not, these are pictures of the same man: retired steroid-injecting slugger Sammy Sosa. Thing is, that’s him as a Chicago Cub circa 2004 on the left, and last week at the Latin Grammys on the right. Is he bleaching his skin? Did he take up moonwalking, too? Que pasa, amigo? A friend of Sosa’s told the Chicago Tribune that the Dominican Republic native, who turns 41 on Thursday and now lives in a $4.4 million penthouse in Aventura, is in the process of undergoing some form of skin rejuvenation. From the looks of it, there must not be much skin left on Sosa’s face. Said Palm Beach dermatologist Layne Nisenbaum: “It looks like he is using a prescription bleach. If it were skin rejuvenation, it’d look better than this. This is terrible.”

Abrams

Steve Abrams

– It’s good to see that Palm Beach County Commish and attorney Steve Abrams has kept his sense of humor despite resigning from the Fort Lauderdale law firm of Rothstein Rosenfeldt and Adler as it collapsed last week. Founder Scott Rothstein is believed to have been running a $100 million Ponzi scheme. Abrams, a former mayor of Boca Raton, opened his remarks to a Rotary Club gathering the other day with this: “I’ll get this out of the way immediately. You’ve been reading about it in the papers, and it’s been worrying me, actually keeping me up at night. My Philadelphia Phillies are losing to the New York Yankees.”

burke– Pensacola model Samantha Burke sold the first picture of her with Cold Mountain star Jude Law’s lovechild, but at least she’ll donate part of the proceeds — rumored to be around $1 million — to the Pensacola Ronald McDonald Houses. The British magazine Hello, which also circulates in the United States, landed the checkbook journalism exclusive. Baby Sophia was born Sept. 22. She’s the beautiful product of a brief but hot fling that Burke, 24, had with Law while he shot the new Sherlock Holmes in New York. The flick, in which Law plays Dr. Watson to Robert Downey Jr.’s Holmes, is scheduled for release on Christmas Day.

Lewis. You sure you wanna mess with the guy?

Lewis. You sure you wanna mess with the guy?

– Baltimore Ravens star linebacker Ray Lewis was spotted doing tequila shots in a private suite at Land Shark Stadium last weekend. I guess he couldn’t bear watching his alma mater, the University of Miami, lose to Clemson. But then some skinny knucklehead in the suite found nothing better to do than taunt Lewis. Why? Simply because Lewis quit throwing down. Even if the Ravens were off, Lewis is still in-season. “What’s with you?” the unconscious (and drunk) fan asked. “Are you a pussy or something?” Lewis, who’s 250 pounds and once was believed to have killed someone (he pleaded guilty to a lesser charge), looked at the dude in the eyes and told him: “And you’re a real funny guy!” Believe it or not, Lewis walked away. No one was hurt.

The Who’s frontman, Roger Daltrey, is hanging at the Palm Beach Ritz-Carlton. He arrived Sunday afternoon and already has been spotted in the cooling, fall surf. Daltrey, who’s — gasp … 65! — is taking a break from his solo tour, his first in North America since 1985. In addition to catching some rays, Daltrey has been spotted at Bice restaurant in Palm Beach and was scheduled to go on a deep-sea fishing expedition this afternoon. Daltrey is scheduled to play the Seminole Hard Rock Resort in Hollywood Nov 29.

– Jupiter Island golfer Greg Norman is trying to unload his giant Colorado ranch for a whopping $55 million — five years after he bought it for $18.5 million. The reason for the sale wasn’t announced, and his Jupiter lawyer didn’t comment. But Norman is still paying his $103 million divorce settlement to his ex-wife, Laura Andrassy. Norman is currently married to Boca Raton tennis legend Chris Evert, but the two are separated. What does $55 million buy you these days? The Seven Lakes Ranch is located inside the White River National Forest, near Meeker, and features 11,600 acres of pristine rivers, mountains, valleys, lakes and forests. It’s prime land for fly fishing and big-game hunting, according to the real estate Web site zillow.com. The main lodge has 13,000 square feet with an adjacent dance hall!

Anderson

Pam Anderson

Baywatch babe Pam Anderson, who earlier this month donned her old bathing suit from the show for a Miami Beach fashion gig, returns to SoFla next week. This time, she’ll be fully dressed to emcee Ocean Ridge resident Al Malnik’s yearly Make-a-Wish Foundation gala. The affair is scheduled for Nov. 7 at downtown Miami’s Intercontinental. Gov. Charlie Crist returns as a guest of honor.

American Idol star Kris Allen chills backstage on the parking lot of Land Shark Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Minutes later, Allen debuted three tracks from his upcoming album as NFL fans gathered for the Miami Dolphins’ loss to the New Orleans Saints. Lambiet’s Lunch: Kennedy clan’s Anthony Shriver eases woman beater Chris Brown back in society

Chris Brown can be saved.

So says SoFla’s member of the Kennedy clan, Anthony Shriver.

Shriver, whose Best Buddies International raises hundreds of thousands in Palm Beach each spring, is having the man convicted of beating pop star Rhianna headline the non-profit’s Miami gala Nov. 20.

R&B singer Brown, who pleaded guilty to assault and is serving five years probation, is touring intimate clubs nationwide. He’s scheduled to play Shriver’s private shindig at the Mondrian Hotel on his way to a Richmond, Va., concert.

Shriver, the son of Sargent and Eunice Shriver and a nephew of former Pres. John F. Kennedy, founded Best Buddies 20 years ago as a college student. The group matches children with disabilities with mentors.

Is a Best Buddies gala really a good venue for Brown?

Absolutely, says Shriver. Especially since Brown joined Shriver’s cause and is donating some of the proceeds of his tour to Best Buddies.

““I support Chris Brown’s efforts to show the world why he deserves a second chance, given that the commitment he has made to Best Buddies – not only to perform at our Miami Gala, but also to join the Best Buddies family as a volunteer – is a huge step in the right direction,” Shriver told Page2Live in a e-mail.

“I also appreciate Chris’ generous offer to donate a portion of the proceeds from his tour to Best Buddies. I believe Chris’ fans will be equally inspired to support Best Buddies’ mission to provide opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities once they see his enthusiasm and commitment to the cause – and just how much his efforts mean to our participants.”

It’s unclear whether Brown actually will mentor handicapped youths.

Is Anthony Shriver doing the right thing?

Miami Heat stars, $1,000-a-glass lemonade at Miami Children’s Hospital gala

The sideshow of Dwyane Wade making it sorta official that he’s dating C-list actress Gabrielle Union didn’t distract from the true nature of Friday’s fund-raiser for the famed Miami Children’s Hospital, a traditional kickoff of SoFla’s social season.

More than 400 well-heeled South Floridians plunked down $1,000-per for the black tie at the Biltmore Hotel. They watched Wade getting inducted into the hospital’s Hall of Fame for his work with children. And they heard Oprah Winfrey protege Charice, a 17-year-old singer, perform in a voice that puts Whitney Houston’s to shame.

Hard to believe, but the gala was scaled down from last year, when the party on the floor of the AmericanAirlines Arena in downtown Miami featured pop superstar Beyonce.

Still, the guest list this time around wasn’t too shabby. It included Miami Heat head honcho Pat Riley and retired Miami Heat tall-head Alonzo Mourning, who flashed a photo of his month-old son Alijah to anyone who’d offer congratulations.

Organizers already knew they wouldn’t be able to equal last year’s loot, a SoFla-record $12 million. But they tried hard, with clever things like the $1,000 lemonade glass (Frangelico, Stoli, lemonade — and a diamond).

EXCLUSIVE: Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade and actress Gabrielle Union’s coming out

Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade and his mistress, C-list actress Gabrielle Union, have tried desperately to keep their relationship a secret, but this week has been a coming out party of sorts for them.

Either that, or they’re getting careless.

First, the lovebirds were spotted in full on canoodles in a private club level suite at Land Shark Stadium during Monday Night Football, and missed long stretches of an epic game.

Then last night, although she sneaked in through the back door, Wade took Union to the yearly Miami Children’s Hospital gala — one of Miami’s biggest social rendez-vous of the year.

Wade and Union, who has a recurring role in the ABC scifi series FlashForward, giggled like school kids at the table of Miami philanthropist Juan Carlos Mas. They held hands under the table, when Wade didn’t rest his left paw on her lap or sneak an occasional peck.

Wade later in the evening pronounced himself honored to be inducted in the famed hospital’s hall of fame.

Who gets in?

“People who have gone above and beyond for children,” said the hospital’s VP for marketing, Jamie Holt.

Wade joins in the hall the likes of songbird Beyonce, legendary University of Miami QB Jim Kelly and actress Kelly Preston (John Travolta’s missus).

Holt tells me Wade, who obviously forgot his dinner jacket on his way to the black-tie, first came on the fund-raisers’ radars two years ago. As Wade nursed a serious injury, he quietly spent hours watching Heat basketball on television with ill children treated at the facility. Holt also cited Wade’s own charity for at-risk children, Wade’s World, as another reason for his induction.

“I was floored when I was picked,” Wade said. “A lot of people helped me when I was growing up. Helping children is in my DNA.”

Wade’s nasty divorce from wife Shiovaughn, by the way, is still pending in a court in the couple’s native Chicago. Allegations in the case include that last season’s top scorer hasn’t been seeing much of his own three young boys and repeatedly cheated on Shiovaughn. Wade is also entangled in a legal battle with a business partner who claims he rented a pad in Miami Beach for Wade where sex parties took place.
