As Page2Live first reported, embattled golfer Tiger Woods has been building this magnificent mansion in Unincorporated Palm Beach, just north of Jupiter, for mom Tida. And here are the first pictures! Woods bought two adjacent properties directly across the Intracoastal from his soon-to-be Jupiter Island residence for $2.4 million in 2007. Now, the cleaned up serial philanderer is plunking down another $2.6 million for construction. Usually a presence in the background only, Tida burst onto the media stage Friday with her long embrace for her son after his televised apology. Mama Tiger then went after the media for treating her son “like a criminal.” She’ll be one of us next year. Click on either picture, or here, for more.

Embattled golfer Tiger Woods is building a whole lot of homes for a whole lot of people these days.

Woods’ company, ETW, financed his public relations man Glenn Greenspan’s modest $1 million-dwelling in Stuart.

A Scandinavian-looking house is going up just south, on Jupiter Island, from blue prints bearing the specs of Woods’ wife, Elin Nordegren.

And, according to recent paperwork filed in Palm Beach County, the 22,000-square-foot crib he’s building for his mom, Tida, is moving along quite nicely.

Usually a quiet presence by her son’s side, Tida jumped into the fray with both feet at his made-for-TV apology Friday when she blasted the media treating Woods “like a criminal.”

Still, there’s nothing like the soon-to-be-reformed philandering fool to kick a down real estate market into gear!

Tiger Woods renews vows to finish Jupiter Island lovenest

For a guy who isn’t really that committed to his family, golfer Tiger Woods sure seems committed to the lovenest he’s been building for wife Elin Nordegren.

As paramours came out of the woodwork and sponsors started cutting off Woods in mid-December, his lawyer filed paperwork in Martin County showing that Woods intends to finish building the Jupiter Island home where he planned to move with his wife and two children. Swedish-born Nordegren designed the mansion, 9,000 luxurious square feet of living quarters and an equally large gym connected by a glass hallway.

On Dec. 14, when Woods’ older mistress, Wellington’s Theresa Rogers, was outed, Woods’ Orlando lawyer filed two sets of document notifying the county that the Jupiter luxury construction company D&D Constantakos would continue building the ocean-to-Intracoastal property.

The general description of the work, according to one document signed by attorney Chris Hubman on that day, when Nordegren first appeared in public without her wedding band, includes: Completion of main house with two floors and basement, concrete block construction, a metal roof and impact windows. The other document is for work on a pool, a spa, the garage, a studio, landscaping and ornamental fences.

Neither David nor Daniel Constantakos, the contractors, were available for comment.

Shortly after Woods and Nordegren tied the knot in 2005, Woods started to assemble adjacent properties to form today’s 12-acre estate, which the couple named Sand Turtle. He spent $44.5 million on the land and it is estimated he has spent well in excess of $10 million on tearing down the existing homes and building his castle.

What’s next for the Jupiter Island love nest Tiger Woods’ is building for his wife?

Golfer Tiger Woods started to assemble painstakingly land on Jupiter Island for his and wife Elin Nordegren’s tropical love nest just months after their 2004 wedding.

By late 2006, Woods had spent $44.5 million on four adjacent properties — in all 12 acres under a natural canopy stretching from the beach to the Intracoastal.

The couple renamed the property Sand Turtle.

Woods then had the existing homes leveled, and former nanny Nordegren dealt with Jupiter architect Roger Janssen for the blueprints. The Woods would have 9,729-square-feet of luxury adjacent to a 6,400-square-foot gym joined by a glass walkway.

By most standards in these parts, the construction (right) looks surprisingly staid and cold, sorta like a government building in Nordegren’s native Sweden.

Now, more than a year before it’s finished, work on what was designed to be Woods and his family’s homestead continues — despite the marital woes that have caused the golfer to quit the game temporarily.

His Thanksgiving accident morphed into days of allegations that Woods stepped out on his wife with a growing number of women, including at least two porn stars. And Nordegren reportedly left the couple’s home near Orlando, and just bought a $2 million-home on an island off Sweden.

So, what’s next for the Jupiter Island crib?

Tiger Woods’ alleged mistress, Rachel Uchitel, wowed Palm Beach

The alleged “other woman” in golf prodigy Tiger Woods bed is not just some cheap bimbo who mans the velvet rope at fashionable night clubs and dates famous, married men.

The clubs that Rachel Uchitel, 34, is also accustomed to include the Everglades Club and the Bath & Tennis Club, both Palm Beach high society hang-outs.

Uchitel is the granddaughter of powerful Cleveland banker and amateur golfer Warner Bishop, who moved to The Island with a much younger wife in the 1990s. He died in 2001 at 82.  And her mom is socialite Susan Bishop.

“I can’t talk about this,” said Susan Bishop, who lives part-time in a $600,000-condo on Palm Beach’s Bradley Place. “But I can tell you I’ve never met Tiger Woods or heard anything about it until these stories came out.”

And either by blood or Uchitel’s own short-lived marriage, she has dozens of relatives in the upper spheres on The Island.

“Rachel comes to see her mom in Palm Beach fairly often,” said a local society maven who asked not to be named. “She may come off as sleazy now, but she’s from old money, even if there isn’t much of that old money left for her.
“The thing about Rachel is that she is exquisitely beautiful, and she knows it. She uses it to her advantage. She always has perfect hair. Always on high heels.

“She turned heads at the old Everglades Club and the B&T. The way she moves around a room is studied, like a model. The pictures don’t do her justice.”

Uchitel is making international news after Woods’ mysterious car crash over Thanksgiving weekend.

The soon-to-be Jupiter Island resident Woods, 33, was injured while backing out of his driveway in Windermere, near Orlando. He hit a fire hydrant and then crashed head on into a tree. The golfer’s wife of five years, former nanny Elin Nordegren, 28, supposedly helped free him out of the car by smashing a window of Tiger’s Escalade with a golf club.

But the couple’s attitude since, including their turning back investigating state troopers three times and Woods’ statement yesterday that details of the accident are “private,” has fueled rumors that Woods was injured during a lover’s spat.

Over what? A front page story in the National Enquirer outing Uchitel as Woods’ alleged mistress.

So, just who is this Uchitel woman? Look below for more of the story and a photo gallery, or click (Read more…)

If you believe there’s nothing more to golfer Tiger Woods’ mysterious Black Friday car crash than the official line, then I’ve got some land next door to him on Jupiter Island for sale.

The superstar golfer was hurt in the wee hours when he backed his Escalade out of his driveway in the Isleworth gated community of Windermere, near Orlando, and hit a fire-hydrant then a tree.

So happens that, on the same day, the Boca Raton-based National Enquirer hit the supermarket counters in the Orlando area with a front page story outing Woods’ alleged mistress.

Woods and Nordegren

And you thought the man has no personality?

Whether the golf superstar’s Swedish wife, former nanny Elin Nordegren, had seen the Enquirer’s story before she went outside to “help” Woods, as she claimed, is unclear. She told cops she broke the Escalade’s back window with a golf club so that he could get out.

You don’t suppose the lacerations to Woods face, allegedly suffered in the accident, occurred after the wife caught up with her gossip reading?

There’s a good reason why Canadian songbird Celine Dion has been flying below the radar over the past few months.

Holed up in a rented house at the Bear’s Club in Jupiter while her waterpark-outfitted castle on Jupiter Island is being finished, Dion suffered a miscarriage, according to her husband.

And the singer of My Heart Will Go On then went through another unsuccessful attempt at artificial insemination, he told the French Canadian Journal de Montreal.

A third attempt is scheduled this weekend in New York.

The 41-year-old Dion’s hubby and manager, Rene Angelil, told the newspaper that Dion became pregnant in August but lost the baby a week and a half later.

Said Rene, who’s 67: “We are living the same reality as the majority of couples who face these techniques of procreation. The road can be long and arduous. It doesn’t always work like it did the first time with (their son, born at Palms West in Loxahatchee in 2001) Rene-Charles. In August, the doctor believed that the pregnancy had started well. It wasn’t the case. We were in shock.

“But you know Celine. She doesn’t let go. We are not discouraged.”

Hey, guys, here’s a novel idea: How ’bout an adoption?

Is that a new Motel 6 on Jupiter Island? No, it’s Tiger Woods’ new crib!

A cross between a discount motel and a beachside nursing home? Na ... it's Tiger Woods' home under construction on Jupiter Island. (Splash News/Special to Page2Live)

Is it any wonder that golfer Tiger Woods had everybody building his Jupiter Island home sign a confidentiality agreement? I mean, look at this place! It’s a cross between a discount motel and a beachside nursing home! But hey, from what I’ve been told, Woods’ Swedish missus, Elin Nordegren, is calling the shots on this one. Woods bought four adjacent properties on the tony island for a Martin County-record $44.5 million in 2006. He then tore down the existing homes on the 12 acres, including a classic Bahamas-style manse. The new 9,700-square-foot home is split between the living quarters (right on the photo above) and a gym (left side). Both sides will be connected with a glass-covered walkway, according to the blueprints. Good thing the plans call for so much foliage around the house that few passers-by will be able to see it! So, this is why Canadian songbird Celine Dion has been drilling wells all over her Jupiter Island property! Now that the water can flow, worker bees are laboring extra hard on her double-wide beachfront home’s lazy river and main pool, according to these aerial pictures taken Monday. Still to come, the water slides!

Celine Dion using some of the precious liquid

Calling Celine Dion a water hog did have some effect after all.

Now that she’s having a water park installed on her Jupiter Island property — that’s two giant pools (one for the guests, of course), several waterslides and a lazy river — Dion’s doing it somewhat sensitively.

(See exclusive pictures of the construction here)

Last year, as the area suffered through one of its worst droughts, the Canadian songbird became the area’s heaviest user of drinking water. About 6.5 million gallons flowed through her nest, and that was just during construction. Cost the singer of My Heart Will Go On $36,343, and beaucoup public scorn, even if it was partly due to a broken pipe.

Now, La Dion told Martin County she’s having American Drilling Services drill wells on her $12.5 million beachside property. That’s three wells to extract water, and three to re-inject some of it, post use, back into the ground, according to the paperwork.

The water will not only be used for the waterpark but also to cool the home’s air conditioning units.

By the way, Dion is having a reverse osmosis system installed to purify the water 98 percent on its way to her water park.

Water flowing without scrutiny? Priceless!

Celine Dion's private waterpark is:
