Is ex-Congressman Tim Mahoney still picking up chicks?

Is former U.S. Rep. Tim Mahoney’s midlife crisis not over yet?

He reportedly tried to pick up Russian women in a Palm Beach hotspot recently by claiming to be a “retired, respected congressman.”

Mahoney acknowledges being at the restaurant but, he said, he was there for Haiti fundraiser — not to hit on ladies.

A source at the Boys & Girls Club of Palm Beach County’s beachside wingding the other night told me about Mahoney’s recent foray into the Palm Beach hangout Bice.

Remember Mahoney? The 53-year-old slipped into the U.S. Congress in 2006, when the then-congressman-for-life Mark Foley got caught text-messaging sweet nothings to male pages.

Mahoney, who represented parts of Palm Beach County and most of Martin County, lost reelection to current Congressman Tom Rooney after it was revealed that the then-married Mahoney paid off a former mistress to silence her, and was seeing another paramour, Martin County’s engineering boss Kim Roden.

Word is the now-divorced Mahoney is seriously hooked up with Roden — but then this little tale below makes you wonder.

Former U.S. Rep. Tim Mahoney, a Democrat whose philandering cost him his re-election in 2008, now is legally free to take on as many girlfriends as he wants.

He was officially divorced last week in Palm Beach County — and quickly hooked with one of his mistresses, former Martin County Engineering Operations Manager Kim Roden.

According to the “Final Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage” filed in his hometown of Palm Beach Gardens last week, Mahoney will end up paying ex-wife, Terry Mahoney $6,250-a-month for the rest of her life. Once the couple’s barn and five acres in the western confines of the county are sold off, Terry, 58, could receive another $270,000. An equestrian, Terry also gets two horses, Toy and Pacman. And she’s allowed to take the marital bed, her grandpa’s chair, the sewing machine, three tables and her jewelry.

Tim is supposed to give her $14,000 to help her move.

Terry Mahoney, by the way, keeps the Mahoney family name.

In all, the former lovebirds split evenly about $2.8 million in assets.

Court papers indicated Terry’s moving out of the area. She couldn’t be reached for comment.

Tim? He won’t be poor. He keeps the former marital home in PGA National and a ski-slope condo in Canada.

And there are fringe benefits to his divorce. I’m told by a source at Martin County Hall that Tim and Roden, one of two paramours whose names surfaced, no longer need to sneak around.

– One of several women who caused the spectacular fall of area U.S. Rep. Tim Mahoney, Martin County operations manager Kimberly Roden, is walking away from her $73,000-a-year gig in a buyout effort by the county. A comely blue-eyed blonde who was credited for getting the U.S. government to pay for hurricane cleanup that it didn’t pay in neighboring counties, Roden was disciplined (sorta!) three days without pay earlier this year for not telling her superiors that she and the very married Mahoney were an item. The Democrat lost his reelection bid to Republican Tom Rooney last year after he admitted to several affairs, including one with an employee. His wife, Terry, filed for divorce within days. Roden took several tax-funded trips to Washington, D.C., while Mahoney was in office. Roden’s departure comes as the county offered to pay longtime employees for up to 16 weeks if they leave. “The program is absolutely voluntary,” said county administrative services boss Gary Gierlicz. “No one is being pushed out.”

Alex Rodriguez

– Major Leaguer Alex Rodriguez, who just won the World Series with the New York Yankees, has discounted his Coral Gables mansion. It was on the market for $14.8 million. Now, it can be yours for $10 million, according to realestalker Web site. Wouldn’t hurt so much if A-Rod didn’t buy the six-bedroomer for $12 million five years ago. The house is also on the auction site billionaireexchange.com. Rodriguez is said to be getting ready to play house on the Left Coast with Hollywood actress Kate Hudson (Fool’s Gold, Almost Famous). Former U.S. Rep. Tim Mahoney in need of stimulus

Like the federal government he once was a member of, former U.S. Congressman Tim Mahoney is running in the deep red.

timmie1Mahoney, 52, can’t cover his daily bills these days, according to a fresh batch of paperwork filed in a Palm Beach County court in connection with his divorce case.

The former Democratic representative, whose district stretched from Palm Beach to St. Lucie counties and across Florida, claims he makes $4,341 a month as a business adviser while his expenses are $10,851. He runs a $6,510 deficit each month.

Almost half of his expenses, his financial statement shows, are for the couple’s Palm Beach Gardens home, a barn and 5 acres on 114th Court in the western confines of Palm Beach Gardens, a condo in Canada and 30 acres in Oklahoma.

Don’t shed a tear for the man with the numerous mistresses, though. Even if he’s worth less than what the popular wisdom would have you believe — he once was a venture capitalist — Mahoney isn’t poor.

The fact that former U.S. Rep. Tim Mahoney spends more than he makes shows:

And you thought the divorce of former U.S. Congressman Tim Mahoney was bad so far, with payoffs to a former mistress and the suspension of another squeeze from her government job?

Man, you ain’t seen nothing yet!

The long-suffering, soon-to-be-ex-wife of the scandal-prone Mahoney, Terry, has called on eight people to be deposed in mid-April.

Court papers show they include: Mistress No. 1, former Mahoney aide Tricia Allen, the one he agreed to pay a total of $227,000 to shut her up about their affair; Mistress No. 2, Martin County engineering department employee Kim Roden, whom he took on skiing vacations in the Canadian Rockies; a former Tim Mahoney employee, Alejandro Munoz; Leonard Sokolow, a Broward County lawyer and accountant who was one of Tim Mahoney’s business partners in vFinance, a venture capital company; West Palm Beach lawyer Jack Goldberger, who once repped billionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and worked on Mahoney’s secret deal with Allen; Gary Isaacs, another local lawyer who represented Mahoney as the sex scandal broke last year; and forensic accountant Michael Kridel. Tim Mahoney, too, will be grilled. (Read more…)
