Like the federal government he once was a member of, former U.S. Congressman Tim Mahoney is running in the deep red.

timmie1Mahoney, 52, can’t cover his daily bills these days, according to a fresh batch of paperwork filed in a Palm Beach County court in connection with his divorce case.

The former Democratic representative, whose district stretched from Palm Beach to St. Lucie counties and across Florida, claims he makes $4,341 a month as a business adviser while his expenses are $10,851. He runs a $6,510 deficit each month.

Almost half of his expenses, his financial statement shows, are for the couple’s Palm Beach Gardens home, a barn and 5 acres on 114th Court in the western confines of Palm Beach Gardens, a condo in Canada and 30 acres in Oklahoma.

And you thought the divorce of former U.S. Congressman Tim Mahoney was bad so far, with payoffs to a former mistress and the suspension of another squeeze from her government job?

Man, you ain’t seen nothing yet!

The long-suffering, soon-to-be-ex-wife of the scandal-prone Mahoney, Terry, has called on eight people to be deposed in mid-April.

Court papers show they include: Mistress No. 1, former Mahoney aide Tricia Allen, the one he agreed to pay a total of $227,000 to shut her up about their affair; Mistress No. 2, Martin County engineering department employee Kim Roden, whom he took on skiing vacations in the Canadian Rockies; a former Tim Mahoney employee, Alejandro Munoz; Leonard Sokolow, a Broward County lawyer and accountant who was one of Tim Mahoney’s business partners in vFinance, a venture capital company; West Palm Beach lawyer Jack Goldberger, who once repped billionaire sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and worked on Mahoney’s secret deal with Allen; Gary Isaacs, another local lawyer who represented Mahoney as the sex scandal broke last year; and forensic accountant Michael Kridel. Tim Mahoney, too, will be grilled. (Read more…)

Man, does he sport a pair!

Former U.S. Rep. Tim Mahoney, a Democrat who lost his seat to Republican Tom Rooney after he admitted to routinely stepping out on his wife, is attending the presidential inauguration festivities in Washington, D.C.

“He’s been making the rounds because he now wants to be a lobbyist,” said a Beltway insider. “People are sorta rolling their eyes but, whatever.”

A spywitness at the Florida State Society’s inaugural ball Monday night text-messaged Page2Live that a tuxedo-clad Mahoney had arrived. (Read more…)

She was unmasked as one of the numerous women in the sex-soaked life of the very married U.S. Rep. Tim Mahoney. But that didn’t keep Martin County engineering official Kim Roden from a Christmas romp with the man whose philandering caused his political crash.

According to fresh paperwork in Mahoney’s divorce file, wife of 23 years Terry is accusing her man of spending marital cash to take Roden on a Dec. 22 trip to the Mahoneys’ romantic mountain hideaway in Canada. (Read more…)

As his only term in the U.S. House ends, Tim Mahoney is unlikely be charged criminally for placing a mistress on the federal payroll, a source close to the FBI investigation into Mahoney told Page2Live.

The feds, who aren’t commenting, have been checking into Hobe Sound mom Patricia Allen’s work for Mahoney at his Palm Beach Gardens federal office in 2007.

Their questions included whether Allen, a former campaign worker and one of Mahoney’s lovers, had a no-show job. (Read more…)

Tim Mahoney: I want my wife back

U.S. Rep. Tim Mahoney wants to patch things up with his wife.

Yep, the one on whom he publicly admitted to cheating repeatedly.

Legislative hunks: Dave Aronberg, left, and Joseph Abruzzo.

When, about 10:55 p.m., the presidential race was deemed over and Barack Obama a winner, the lobby at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in West Palm Beach erupted.

Haitian waiters threw their arms into the air. An Asian woman cried. State Sen. Dave Aronberg jumped up and down as if to celebrate a touchdown. West Palm Beach Mayor Lois Frankel, who wore six Obama buttons, grinned from ear-to-ear.

Now, they had a party — a historic occasion led by a rendition of the Isley BrothersShout.

STUART – About 75 supporters of lawyer Tom Rooney – who’s trying to wrestle a seat in the U.S. Congress from the scandal-scarred Tim Mahoney – are munching on pigs-in-a-blanket and coconut shrimp in the lobby of the Hamptons Inn in Stuart.

The Republican Rooney, a former professor at West Point, is working the crowd with his wife and three kids.

With just 7 percent of the precincts reporting, he’s up by about 30,000 votes – mainly because of an overwhelming lead in St. Lucie County. (Read more…)
